Watching these two have a somewhat father and son relationship always brings a smile to my face Lloyd always was a softy around Jimmy. And Jimmy always had a soft spot for Lloyd.
I was like 8, and started a bobcat and moved some dirt in the yard. Nobody ever taught me how to run a machine. I was driving machines before the internet.
Lloyd is like a father to all the kids in the bunk house he was not a jerk like the older crew but he always guided them and taught them how to work and he saw jimmy as his son guiding him step by step
Lloyd's the kind of dad you'd allways want. He'll chew you to shreds if you rightfully screw up, but he'll stand by you trough hell an' gunpowder if you need him.
Lloyd always saw Jimmy as his son, more than a friend. It was so sad that in the last moment, before the latter returned to 6666, he did not find the bravery to say goodbye.
Our children are the ones that hurt us the most. And they don’t know it. Kids don’t have to be by blood. We raise them to leave, not realizing how it will tear our hearts out when they go.
Lloyd didn’t need to say a word. He spent more time with Jimmy than most of the Yellowstone family. Lloyd said all he needed to say to Jimmy with the nod and hat. And Jimmy understood it. When you have a strong bond with someone you need not say any words when saying goodbye.
The chemistry between these two characters is so poignant and heartwarming, a real testament to the actors talent! Their scenes together almost always put a lump in my throat!
Jimmy is the best character in the series. He represents what every boy goes through when trying to become a man. I didn’t have a strong father figure in my life and I relate to him more than anyone on the show.
Loyd seen a glimmer of himself in Jimmy, and in many ways looked at him and treated him like a son. Something about a good hard honest man unable to hide his emotions that just hits like no other. I compare it to when Beth read the letter from John to Rip about having enough sons and giving him that house! 2 of the biggest emotional scenes through the entirety of the series!
Holy gut wrenching on that last scene. I so need to start this show, watching clips on here is making it more suspense. Time to start the binge watching
It's the the last scene that shows what jimmy meant to loyd. Just like a proud father after his son scores the winning touch down is the way loyd was proud of Jimmy when he told him that he's already a cowboy and then hugged him
Cowards never start. The weak never finish, but the warrior never quits. I enjoyed early Jimmy because you could see all three trying to battle to the surface.
Lloyd is like my great uncle. Cowboying in Montana; lived a hard working life doing it. He saw in me as a young boy himself and I barely saw my share of ranch work till my body gave up on me. He has now been passed away for a few years but left me all his gear. My family said that no one deserves it but me because I was the closest member of the family to be a cowboy. Rest in peace my dear uncle Don.
Jimmy made Lloyd proud. as proud as any father could be. and Lord knows that is as close as either of them will get. Lloyd knows he will never have a son but Jimmy is about as close as it gets because he sees a lot of himself in Jimmy.
They should make a spin off where Lloyd is like Mr Miyagi and Jimmy is Daniel-san. I’d be down for something like that. I’m all about those training sequences.
Maybe. Maybe not. If he hadn’t listened to her, he wouldn’t have gotten hurt again. Then John wouldn’t have sent him to the 6666 Ranch. Then he might have never grown as a man and a cowboy.
@@WMMASceneNowhe wouldn’t have gotten hurt again because he didn’t want to go back to the rodeo but Mia forced him to do the rodeo again which led to him being taken away from Yellowstone to the 6s
Forie should have gotten more praise for his role on the show. He had the most interesting backstory that they should dived deeper into and he's an underrated actor.
I hope the stupid strike ends soon. Don't get me wrong, what hollywood is doing is wrong, but I wanna see the ending of yellowstone it's suck that this awesome show is coming to an end, but i know that it will end on a good note.
Whoever casted this show, should cast for all shows. The only character I wish they chose someone else is the one star, Kevin Costner. I said it from day 1, they didn't a "star" and sure enough, look at the problems it cost them hiring a diva.
I would like to see a series about the 4-sixes and how it got to where they are today. It’s something to think about when they threaten to send me workers there.
This show is awesome I heard people talking about it and I finally started watching it. It's Great. But there are so far two things I want to point out. 1). Why did they fix Kevin's, aka John Dutton's left ear.? It was a very cute improfection. 2) There was a sign that this show was great and that is during the scene were Casey was left out in the field by the Indians for days (season 5 episode 1) the day they came back to get him and the guys said ok it's time to go. If you look up at the small cloud up in the left of the screen, you'll see the cloud is an image of a horse🐎 , Awesome ❤
Peacock premium If you are wondering about the second part of season 5, it is not going to air until supposedly sometime next year. Thanks to the strike and whatever Sheridan and Costner got into.
Lloyd and Jimmy, Jimmy and Lloyd, the father son duo that this show needs. I really hope that Lloyd gets to appear on the 6666 show and gets to continue their father and son story
*The stoic grit that the men in "Yellowstone" portray, are what young men these days should be striving to emulate.* Loads of young men today, are soft and weak. I do _not_ mean bluster, or 'acting' tough, or starting a fight! At the same time, if you need to, you should be able to finish one though....(A fight)
I’m a teamster journeyman in Las Vegas. We do 14 hour night shifts. Heavy lifting, loading trucks. The show has to open. Women hate it. But a 2 week 14 hour a day shift for 80 bucks an hour makes you wonder if you need a women who will leave you, or if you just need to stay at work.

Jimmy is for me, the best part of the Yellowstone series seriously. Always like a good redemption stories.
Lloyd is like a father to all the kids in the bunk house he was not a jerk like the older crew but he always guided them and taught them how to work and he saw jimmy as his son guiding him step by step
I loved every minute of jimmy & Lloyd.
Thank you Yellowstone.
And its producer.

Lloyd's the kind of dad you'd allways want. He'll chew you to shreds if you rightfully screw up, but he'll stand by you trough hell an' gunpowder if you need him.
Watching Lloyd hug Jimmy is too wholesome.
Lloyd always saw Jimmy as his son, more than a friend. It was so sad that in the last moment, before the latter returned to 6666, he did not find the bravery to say goodbye.
Agree but I believed loyd also wished it was him having the opportunity to leave to is what made it hard he wished it was him.
Cowboys don't say goodbye, they say see ya later

"That's a buckle bunny" nailed it...
Lloyd may have a crusty heart, but it's still pure gold. Great acting Forie!
Kinda like Peter Clemenza from the Godfather
I am so deligted for the likes and comment where are you watching from?🙏🏿
Man if Lloyd wasn’t the epitome of a man then idk what is… he truly loved jimmy like a son. Broke his heart when jimmy left.
I’m a musician and also an actor I do play some major role with Yellowstone Tv programs
Forrie Smith does such an incredible job showing the heartbreak Lloyd goes through
Man “I’ll spot you” I miss my guys everyday hope they come back for Christmas🤝🏾
Lloyd reaction to jimmy winning is so wholesome he was a proud dad saying that my boy 🥹🥹🥹
LLoyd was there when Jimmy was at his lowest, broken and feeling alone. He saw him make it to the top, he saw him make it all real.
I think this might be one of my favourite duos from the show.
The story of Jimmy is great, I'd love to see more of him
I’m a musician and also an actor I do play some major role with Yellowstone Tv programs
Knew many old, wise men like this - one word - mentor
The scene where Jimmy ropes that calf in front of Loyd and Rip, just makes ya smile
Jimmy is the best character in the series. He represents what every boy goes through when trying to become a man. I didn’t have a strong father figure in my life and I relate to him more than anyone on the show.
Same here. He's certainly inspiring
When Lloyd started to cry... I did, too! I once let said goodbye to someone whom I took care of, like my son, and admired. That hit the heart
Whats up with you weak fools that always say theyre crying on a video. You’re an embarrassment to America.
Life is better when you have a mentor.
Man I love Lloyd, he’s such a great character and his emotions although rare bit the heartstrings pretty heavily
Loyd seen a glimmer of himself in Jimmy, and in many ways looked at him and treated him like a son. Something about a good hard honest man unable to hide his emotions that just hits like no other. I always loved how this show made me feel.
My favorite is when Jimmy won that belt buckle and he asks Lloyd what’s wrong. “Not a thing”
Lloyd was more than a Father Figure to Jimmy, he was more like a Man speaking to his own Younger Self....
Nice take on it. We've all seen the Father/Son perspectives, but this "Inner Look Reflection" seems to carry it's own weight. Thanks....
Have only watched clips but that makes sense since he immediately ripped off his shirt in the bunkhouse to show he was a former convict too.
The whole time frame between Jimmy needing money, to the time when he won. Pure gold. This is about the only new show I've like in the last 20 years.
Lloyd is such a "charmer"... but I love the way he shoots it straight and uncensored!
What life would be like if we all had a Lloyd in our lives.
That hurt Lloyd, he didn't want Jimmy leaving. He understood though.
Holy gut wrenching on that last scene. I so need to start this show, watching clips on here is making it more suspense. Time to start the binge watching

Honestly Lloyd was probably my favorite character in this show
Cowards never start. The weak never finish, but the warrior never quits.

The relation between Lloyd and Jimmy, is like a father-son figure, is so inspiring and beautiful
With a big smile “That’s a Buckle Bunny”
💀
He is one of my favorite actors in yellow stone.
Lloyd is the most solid off the ranch.
"What's wrong?"
"Not a thing.." 😭😢
You could see the pride in his eyes,
So sad to see the hurt in Lloyd's eye knowing he can't do what he loved anymore.
Lloyd is like my great uncle. Cowboying in Montana; lived a hard working life doing it. He saw in me as a young boy himself and I barely saw my share of ranch work till my body gave up on me. 10:05 man what a scene
Lloyd's not crying you're crying
That man is the father i stive to be EVERY DAY.
Jimmy's arc was my favorite plot in the series. Shame we probably won't be seeing him again
I agree! I used to hate Jimmy until I saw myself in him. Selfishly and ironically enough I wanted the best for him after a while.
He’ll be in the Four Sixes spin offs show.
Your gonna see him. ❤
Lloyd shouda got an award for that last scene
Everyone always talks about RIP but Loyd is a solid fucking dude that’s someone I’d want on my side
Lol that is a buckle bunny 🤣
At the end, Lloyd was a proud Father there
14:55 man that statement jimmy said hit hard considering the show and state of Montana for that matter
wow wow i should have watched this series, great writing acting and the TRUE feeling of what america was
The buckle bunny scene was filmed in Coalville, Utah at the fair grounds. My home town...
15:33 I must be allergic to this scene. Every time I see it my eyes get real watery.
Everyone's Uncle Lloyd about cried he was so proud that Jimmy found his niche in the world.
Great storytelling.
John kept his promise to Jimmy’s grandfather

Jimmy Always Learning more and listen to loyd of rodeo and cowboy life 🤠
4:13 “you just look old” 😂😂😂 loyd is 28.

Took him under his wing and then watched him fly 🦅
The Yellowstone ranch has a history of livestock and hart but the ranch has a lot of fights 😂❤
I remember when I was younger having a go on bulls , never did much good but loved the adrenaline
Not only stuck to him but raked him him good too
Getting involved with Mia was the worst thing for Jimmy.
