FYI, lane keep assist doesn’t only work when you’re in cruise control. It works all the time. If the truck has lane-centering, that only works in cruise control.
Thanks for posting all the interior features! Just picked up my truck yesterday and was wondering. Sucks no chips for Sirius XM radio except as an app. Thanks again!
Should explain the half push/pull on the window buttons for not going all the way up and down. Next thing, with the seat memory, didn't explain how to pair the memory buttons to a specific key fob. The "end call" button on the right steering wheel is also an "answer call" button if the phone is ringing. Center button on cruise is both cancel and resume not just cancel. The "all on" light button up top turns ALL cab lighting on, including in the back for crew cabs, not just the two front lights. On the "Drive Mode" button - you don't push it to change modes, just turn for that. Pushing it activates/deactivates the rear differential lockup. More important than full manual mode, the up/down buttons on the side of the shifter lock out higher gears, like for engine braking going down mountains especially with a trailer. Those USB ports are USB A and C. They're both "regular" USB ports, the C is just way newer and supplies a lot more power. Both can charge any kind of device including Apple and Android with the correct cable. On the exterior keypad, at least on 2023 models, you set additional code(s) on the center screen. Also after entering a code to unlock, by default it only unlocks the driver door. Hitting 3 after the code unlocks all doors. Pressing 7/8 + 9/0 at the same time force locks the doors even if you leave your key inside the truck.
I have a '21 SXT that has a finger grip plastic knob on the side of the driver's seat and pass seat that rotates and seems like it does nothing. Does yours have it?
Does anyone know how the alert/about to crash setting is supposed to work? I have mine set but it has never beeped or warned me that I was close to a vehicle. If i get any closer I will crash.
Just got my new 150. For all the tech on this thing, you’d think splurging $20 for a freaking owners manual wouldn’t be too much to ask. Also, can’t believe there’s not a garage door opener on the XLT model. I didn’t even think to ask. I’m sure I’ll get used to it, but so far I’m not entirely pleased.
They are actually $40 at Helm. My husband is older and was really stressing not having one so I bought him one from Helm. Be aware that it is a very thick manual and full of useful info.
totally agree. I thought they were standard. I've bought atleast 5 new vehicles since 1999 and they always had the garage door opener. Totally dissatisfied with that. that should be a recall issue. So now you have to check and ask for that to be added?
@@patsy1326it depends on the package your truck is if you will get garage door openers built in. But if not you can buy a 3 button remote for your sun visor.
What are you, a thief? Lights should be on all the time anyway. Some cars are just a dot on a trucks convex mirror. And some colors make them invisible. An hour before sunset and an hour after sunrise, when the sun is low and you can see the shadow of your car, vehicles coming the other way have the sun right in their eyes. Without headlights, you are invisible.
I literally just picked up an expedition as a rental vehicle and the dash and centre console look almost identical to this. I only clicked the video because of the resemblance to what I'm sitting in. I'll edit with more details after I play around with it a bit.
Yeah just push the button in. Took me a while to find out how, since I thought they were just auxiliary lights that turn on when you turn the steering wheel or turn the blinker on, but they do have actual fog lights.
You showed how to hang up the phone if you’re on a phone conversation but you didn’t show how to answer it. When I get an incoming call, I can’t figure out how to answer it without being forced to touch the screen.
@@karrskars thank you. I didn’t get a push it because it looks like it’s the end call button. I guess it must work for both answering and ending a call.

12:42 for drive mode you just need to turn the knob left or right, as the arrow indicate, push is for lock DIF
This was a godsend for us who are technologically challenged 😊 Thanks so much for taking the time to do this video!
Dude, thank you for this tutorial. There are some buttons I don’t care to mess with but should know by now. This video is a lot of help.
you did a great job, I bought a lariat this week and haven't taken the time do look over all the buttons thanks
Thanks! I just bought the King Ranch and learning about its feature rich environment. Very helpful!
How do you turn up the fan for the rear seat? Do not seem to have been able to see any controls back there
Great question as haven’t been able to figure this out either

Same here just got HM with my f150 lariat
Thank you so much you perfectly explained the button I was looking for
Is it possible to take off the full view not available
Very helpful is there anyway to turn off auto dimming headlights?
Yes there is in options menu of computer. I hated it on auto
Yes in computer options menu

Does the 2022 not have a the garage door opener feature? Or am i just not figuring it out?
When u drive can you have your rear camera on while driving?
Hello?
You can have the truck bed camera on while driving, if you have the 360 camera package.
You can have the camera on your middle taillight on all the time, but not the backup camera.

Thanx for showing how to dim the instrument panel it is very bright at night
18:42 isn't a little bit risky to show your original security code ???
I would think so as that is the master code. But of course you would have to find the exact truck to get in. Not likely.
What does the tune knob do?
Excellent summation. Thank you. Now we know what the “downhill traction” button is! At first glance icon looked like a duck 🦆 and we were like hmmm 🤔
thanks for showing us how to work the wiper blades. DU
Haha if I don’t people seriously complain about it lol
Is the a way to change the nav map to be viewed in satellite mode?
Not with Sync, but you can if you use Google Maps in CarPlay or Android Auto.
Can you do a video like this on a Bronco Raptor
I have a '21 SXT that has a finger grip plastic knob on the side of the driver's seat and pass seat that rotates and seems like it does nothing. Does yours have it?
Is it about two inches in diameter? If so, it’s likely the lumbar adjustment knob.
Should be able to hold traction control button down for 10secs for advanced traction control off. My 2023 raptor does that
How does Sport mode affect handling with non adjustable suspension?
Do all the F150's have the auto stop on off button or is that an option you have to order. Looking at some other F150's and cant see that button?
Some were deleted during to covid years due the chip shortage. My 2022 Tremor doesn't have it and I'm not sad about it.
Mine doesn't have it.
Great!!! Something Ford should have done.

How to put passager airbag on your is set OFF
Very helpful. Thanks
THanks! Better than the manual!
I remember the Lariat used to have a headlights adjuster to lower the beams in case of heavy load in the back. Did it get removed or am I dreaming?
I read on the forums that the Lariats have auto adjusting headlights. I’m a peasant since I have an XLT, so I can’t confirm though!

Does the 2022 f150 xtr have the folding center council/ wrk station , since the gear shift folds down lime the 2021
This is a 2022
Great video
thanks, i learned some stuff, and btw it’s usb c and usb A not apple lightning.
How do you permanently disable auto stop/start? I have a 24
I think you may be able to get a tune and bypass it but other than that you just have to push the button ro turn it off everytime you drive it
Great job, thanks.

Now that we got the secruricode you might as well give us the vin too

How do you do that ? Is it by pushing the knob that controls on/off and auto headlamps in ? Thanks
