I watch you from the US (Virginia). I have been a full-time caregiver for my parents with dementia for 8 years. My dream is to own an RV and travel. Your videos give me so much relief from my stressful life. I'm briefly able to escape the daily struggle of dementia. Thank you for helping me relax and to dream.
You have my sympathy. I cared for my husband for 15 years and was able two get away twice during that time. It’s a hard road. I had the same dream and used this channel for the same escape. I know how it feels and I pray you get an occasional trip away!
Just found your videos and am totally hooked! I live in Florida, USA. One of my daughters and her husband own an RV as their home and travel around exploring the country. They absolutely love it. I live vicariously through their adventures. Now I can see England through your eyes. How lucky I am. I feel so comfy and content in your van. You two do a great job of living your lives with many viewers. Thank you!❤❤
I just love your videos. I have a motorhome, but unfortunately work means we can't get out as frequently or as long as we would like so I watch your uploads with Envy. I cannot wait to be out and about and I love how you go for a curry. That is my ideal evening, I'm a new subscriber. I'm working my way through your older videos - great content you're both great people.
Gorgeous people delivering even more gorgeous content ! An absolute joy to watch ❤ True visual therapy in these really weird times in the UK and beyond .
I thoroughly enjoyed this video. Cooking on the beach was 👍. You have such cozy times together with walks, eating, and just chillin’. Thanks for the companionship through a video. Mary

Wow A few days ago I commented about the Isle of Wight where I used to live and now you are in the New Forest where I now live. I love Keyhaven and the walk to Hurst Castle to get a close view of the Isle of Wight and now you go to Blackwater where I often go for a walk. It's so nice seeing the pair of you explore my 'old' and 'new' locations. I am even finding 'new' places here in the New Forest that I m now seeing because of your films. I am also enjoying a newly acquired love of sausage baps too. Cheers Tony 👍👍

I know it seems always wonderful to find a secluded car parking place but, a personal warning….such places are a mega for car break-ins. Happened to me twice in New Forest. Was only on a short half hour walk, each time, like yourselves. On both occasions car broken into and valuables taken. Please be careful. Sometimes the security of other van occupancy around, can be a better protection. Loved the video
I love watching all the meals you cook but as I watch all my RUclips videos late at night ( yes I’m a night owl probably due to running pubs for 18 yrs )I end up getting the munchies and reach for the crackers and cheese maybe not a good idea at 1.30pm …. I’m loving all the music you put on your videos so gentle and relaxing. safe travels 😊

Usually watching from Aus but this time on a cruise from Norway to the US! Nothing better on a lazy afternoon. We also love to value add to our prepared soups by adding veg and sometimes shredded chicken. Yum!

Lovely wonderful couple!, I’m glad that you have enough money to have fun like that, I’m glad you get to see things and walk around. I’m glad and thankful that God gave you enough health to be able to walk around and have food like that like everyone on this earth should be able to do this. I’m glad you’re alive. Amen.
Well there's a sentence we never thought we hear you say Ken..." We've brought too much food" 😅. Not sure if you already know but, the Trangia cap with the brown lid can be used to regulate the flame. I'm with you Carol. Two pairs of leggings, vest, long sleeved top, fleece and a blanket! Try the ALDI burgers too, we love em. 😊🐕🚙
Aw that was lovely seeing you cooking on the beach. Lovely setting too. And in March! Fire pit is great for those conditions but you have to be careful. I remember once sitting out till quite late and I was lovely and warm but nearly died packing it away it got so cold lol. Take care x
thank you ken and carol for another lovely vlog ..never been to the new forest so loved the journey through your front window please keep up the good work your a fantastic couple 😊❤
Suggestion: Modify your hot water feed line to recirculate the cold until the water reaches a heat valve temperature setting to turn off that circulation. Great visual tease, there Ken!
Poor choice of clothing, I didn’t have anymore 😂😂😂 Hope you’ve warmed up Carol, we are enjoying our Friday evening looking around the New Forest with you both.
Enjoyed the New Forest. We used to go there on holidays. Enjoyed the video. You have a lovely all round view when you are sitting in your cosy van. Love the picture of Little red in the corner. Thankyou.
You might find that the Trangia25 kettle is less irritating than the split handle one too…. It does 2 mugs of tea/coffee quite comfortably and boils quickly on the van’s gas ring.
Wow! Thank you, Ken & Carol. The New Forest reminds me of the forests of central Pennsylvania or California in the USA without the mountains, still they're beautiful in very late winter or very early spring. I was never really pleased with the pre-made hamburgers, the meat is dry, in my opinion. 3.0 out of 5.0, but if you enjoy them, that's fine by me. I only ate 4 pre-made kits so far.
Found your channel a couple of months ago and I absolutely love your videos, the are so cozy, interresting and relaxing. No wonder you have so many subscribers! Greetings from Finland 👍

Hi guys great video we love your channel and you guys, you did have us laughing when the check list turn off engine !! 😂😂🤣🤣 We thought what Sanrio would that be used, laying in bed saying whats that noise and bunny says did you turn the engine off. 🤭🤭. It’s a lovely part of the country you are in. Also i am your diet support stop eating the burgers stick to healthy foods. Lol i know it’s hard but be strong Ken. We visited the newark Campervan show and visited consort stand. We looked in the Nova van its very nice but it needs some modification for us to get one. I talked to them and was not that impressed with how helpful they came over as we were looking at placing an order.( But thats another story) If you fancy seeing it please take a look it’s on our channel. We Love watching your adventures stay safe we hope to meet up some time and say hi. Michael & Kim 🫶👍
We will take a look. Turn the engine off on the checklist is an attempt to stop me turning it off before I have ensured the wheels are not sticking out and the mirrors are tucked in. 😁👍
It's a shame that Consort aren't in Australia as their vans are so impressive with the rear lounge and the finish. Australian vans are nowhere near as good. Very rare to find a U shaped lounge in Australian campervans and when you do, they look like a doctor's waiting room!
Much better than the football! We’ve got a trangia, didn’t know they did a non stick version. Was the trangia red bottle just to safely store the meths? Burgers looked tasty, a little bit of what you fancy does you good! You’ll soon be having a 40k celebratory indian. X
Love the new forest area..the trees are relaxing for the mind I REmber eating scone at a posh bf house once,he said you must break a piece off put jam on then cream…I just threw the lot on lol..thanks carol n Ken for another great video.
Love your videos and both of you. Excellent!!!! I am up in Scotland on holiday and the weather is very poor. I am laid up with an injured leg, so watching your videos has been so relaxing and so enjoyable, THANK YOU xx
Carol needed a nice hot water bottle on that beach 😁 Ahh the old eating too fast, past occupational hazard 😉 Love those types of shops, they’re few & far between these days unfortunately. Congratulations on the subs, soon be 40 k 👌 Em & G 💜
Why didn’t you guys use the cook stove as a fire pit while you were eating to help keep you warm? 😂😂 When you put the fire out , I screamed nooo! Your wife’s hands are cold!!😂😂😂 Great vids!! Thank you!!
Thanks Carol and Ken for the lovely video. It's very much appreciated and enjoyed.Stay safe and keep well. I am not surprised you are gaining so many subscribers richly deserved success for your channel as I know it must take hard work to put this all together x
Loved the cooking on the beach. Poor Carol looked freezing! Sad if we lose camping spots like that. Give that tree a hug! We always use the kettle for washing up. My dad had a Royal Enfield. Well done on the subs👍😁. We’ve put little spotlights on Merlin. Oh the luxury of staying in the van when it’s wet 🤣very cosy 👍
Super video Carol and Ken, relaxing and at same time eventful, so much content, I am months behind your episodes but I know it will be a treat catching up yes life is to short so enjoy that burger.
Great vlog and so pleased to see the van coming into its own, you must be very pleased. Trangia cook sets are brilliant and I have been using them for over 30 years. If you are going to stick with meth, I would suggest a 10% water mix as this will give a much cleaner burn. I moved over to bio-ethenol a couple of years back, cheaper and burns really clean.... smells a little better as well. Still getting used to our NV200 😅, but all good. Take care....
We like camping there overnight too and we did a high tide once, the water only came over to the rim of the wheel, but when you drive into new Milton their is some chaps washing cars on the left, and they kindly washed just our wheels down to get rid of the salt, and didn't charge us, but gave the a good tip. Bet it was cold with the full moon. Have fun.😊
What a lovely place! A restful spot to just BE. A thought regarding wasting water... could you run the tap into a small watering can until its warm and then pour it back into the tank? Sorry if that's daft... Neil said "four candles" when you entered the hardware shop!
Lovely video as always, yes I have just checked and I am still subscribed 😊. Congratulations on getting 38k hope you get many more subscribers I am sure you will. Take care and thanks for taking us with you on your journeys…you looked frozen Carol on the beach but food looked yummie😊
Hi Carol & Ken, a few years ago on a visit to Romney Marshes I saw a very similar shingle moving operation being carried out near Dungeness Nuclear Power Station. Some locals told me that it was a continuous, never ending operation due to coastal erosion and the fact that the entire South East of England is sinking into the sea. To prevent the power station from becoming a victim they have to continuously move shingle from the east side of the power station and dump it back on to the beach on the west side. I don't know if it is for a similar reason that the shingle where you were was being moved but the operation looked very much the same. Thank you both for your wonderful and very entertaining videos, they only get better and better.
I like the word, "chillaxing", did you make that word up, or is that a word people say in the UK. I live in New Mexico, USA and have never heard that word before.
My Fiat Talento has similarly dissapointing headlights, so I bought a set of ledperv LCD bulbs to go in it. I asked the garage, where I also get the van MOT'd. He said I can fit them for you but I would have to immediately fail it on MOT. He said the MOT rules have changed and the lights need to be changed as a full unit now, instead of just the bulbs, which is way more expensive and really impractical. I am looking to fit auxiliary rally type lights now, which I haven't found yet ? I did improve my current lights a lot though by the height adjuster in the cab, to compensate for differing van loads, i suspect that yours being a Fiat also, will be the same ? We had similar 'trucks' to those on the beach, in the steel works, they were called euclids. I think euclid is a trade name though now owned by Hitachi.
Save putting the boiler on for the washing up - when you use the kettle for a brew fill it up and put the left over in a thermos for the washing up - Simples :)
We don’t use the boiler for anything other than a shower. It’s debatable if the thermos route actually saves power. In my experience of doing that I found hot water cooled or was wasted. 👍
Microwave murder! We have a desert here in the southern US called pecan pie. It is made with Karo Syrup 2 cups of pecans 2 eggs and a pie crust. The Karo and eggs after cooked in a sauce pan make for a super sweet custard that when properly heated in a microwave will melt the skin off the roof of your mouth for at least two weeks.
I loved seeing that final shot of you both relaxing in your rear lounge. That is exactly the reason I thought that layout would be right up your street, along with the other useful touches that Consort has added. I'm so glad I took the time to send you the link, loving all the latest content with Snoopy.
i would he is looking for crayfish ,red signal an invasive species from the US ,they escaped there breeding cages during a storm, and went wild in the waterways

Another great video, watched outside in Norway where I’m just having my supper and I can say the temperature here isn’t much better. About 10 degrees. Keep up the great work.
When I visit my son and daughter in law in Norway i have to have a bowl of Norwegian fish soup. Their meal on the beach reminded me a little of that. Yummy!

Yes, it is a sad reality. We have had a car broken into in the New Forest in the past. We were careful not to leave the van anywhere secluded.

Bet it was cold with the full moon. Have fun.😊
Thanks for letting us know. That might come in handy one day 😀👍

How did those horses come to be In the new forest
Commoners rights to free grazing. They are all owned by people.
What a lovely place! A restful spot to just BE.
A thought regarding wasting water... could you run the tap into a small watering can until its warm and then pour it back into the tank? Sorry if that's daft...
Neil said "four candles" when you entered the hardware shop!
Not daft at all. That’s worth a try 🙂👍
Carol looks like a viking with that blanket 😂😂
😂
Lovely video as always, yes I have just checked and I am still subscribed 😊.
Congratulations on getting 38k hope you get many more subscribers I am sure you will.

I really enjoy watching you two, US here and a recreational camper( pull behind) but I do enjoy seeing the van life. Carry on, love to watch!!!❤
Thank you! Will do! 😀
Hi both, your videos are always enjoyable to watch. Thank you for sharing your adventures ❤️
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching 🙂
Yes, probably the same reason. It also happens at Seaford beach on the south coast.
I like the word, "chillaxing", did you make that word up, or is that a word people say in the UK. I live in New Mexico, USA and have never heard that word before.
It’s common here 👍
My Fiat Talento has similarly dissapointing headlights, so I bought a set of ledperv LCD bulbs to go in it.
That is useful info thanks 👍
Save putting the boiler on for the washing up - when you use the kettle for a brew fill it up and put the left over in a thermos for the washing up - Simples :)
We don’t use the boiler for anything other than a shower. It’s debatable if the thermos route actually saves power. In my experience of doing that I found hot water cooled or was wasted. 👍
Shame its now so expensive
Microwave murder! We have a desert here in the southern US called pecan pie. It is made with Karo Syrup 2 cups of pecans 2 eggs and a pie crust. The Karo and eggs after cooked in a sauce pan make for a super sweet custard that when properly heated in a microwave will melt the skin off the roof of your mouth for at least two weeks.
😁👍
I loved seeing that final shot of you both relaxing in your rear lounge. That is exactly the reason I thought that layout would be right up your street, along with the other useful touches that Consort has added.
I'm so glad I took the time to send you the link, loving all the latest content with Snoopy.
We are loving the rear lounge and are really happy with the van. Thanks so much for recommending Consort to us ❤️
i would he is looking for crayfish ,red signal an invasive species from the US ,they escaped there breeding cages during a storm, and went wild in the waterways
Thanks for that 👍
Great episode and loving the moonlit restaurant - lovely location

Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching 🙂
Hi, great video. Lovely area. Safe travels ❤❤
Thanks Sue 🙂
Another great video, watched outside in Norway where I’m just having my supper and I can say the temperature here isn’t much better. About 10 degrees. Keep up the great work.
When I visit my son and daughter in law in Norway i have to have a bowl of Norwegian fish soup. Their meal on the beach reminded me a little of that. Yummy!
It’s not much warmer than that here at the moment. Enjoy your Norwegian trip 🙂
Great vlog as always guys. Love the look of your table you were using on the beach, what make is it, cheers
Helinox 👍
These little alcohol burners are great for a cook out, see you guys pitching up on the hills soon👍
May I ask what was in the water please?
My eyes couldn't make it out, thank you kindly, 🤔
Not sure at which point. The swans?
Lovely film thank you both, I like the longer versions.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the feedback 🙂
