We’ve got a Berlingo Microcamper which is cozy. No draughts despite not adding extra insulation and stays surprisingly warm. Our diesel heater under our front passenger seat is our game changer! Padded (Aldi) slippers are great! We use Fleecy ‘teddy bear’ bedding on two quilts, one under us and one over us. Thin and thick - swappable depending on the temperature. We can wear fleece pyjamas when it gets really sub zero. It’ll be spring soon…
Buy some bull clips, and use them to store the hotwater bottle, by hanging from the bottom. This let's them dry properly, and stops the sides sticking together, without putting undue strain on the rubber. Been using this method for 2 and half years on the same bottle, and it's still in good condition.
We live in cold Canada and we NEVER heat our 1800 square foot home after 10.00 pm It's a waste of fuel and we open our windows to off gas the home and improve our immune system. My father used to keep our home at 80 farenhiet at night because he was cold growing up but it made me sick from the home gases and gave me an awful sleep and colds, flues and allergies. THAT SAID : It's important to keep your home 73 to 75 in the daytime to eliminate molds and to not tax the immune system.Homeless people that are exposed to cold all the time die by around age 49.

Old Walter is a draughty old bugger 😂 I’ve got some teddy bear blankets too and they are great , your right come on spring !!!
Another tip put a sleeping bag in bed then pull quilt cover over, works for me.
I’ll have to try that !
Keeping warm must be a priority in winter inside Walter , those boots and bed cover look just the job ........Take care
Made a massive difference!!
We also put a curtain up at the cab like you have, that was the biggest difference of an evening.
Oh yes makes all the difference, keeps the warm air in and the chilly cab away !!
