hmm great presets, I think I'm sold. but what happened to the synthbrass and that cool saw bass and G funk Saw lead they used in the promo? did they take them out?
You're certainly banging (well, Chumming by the lack of hand tats) the videos out recently! In and of itself, it seems like quite a cool little synth, especially for the price. Whether or not it's an accurate duplicate of the sequential original, as some are harping on about, is beside the point. It's got a nice late 80s, 90s sound I think, if you're after that sort of thing. Looking forward to hearing your take on this one. Cheers!
@@Andronicus2007 yes. I'm looking at getting the Victor module version. Not only is it a great oscillator, it has the joystick function for other modules. Great value!
The filter is a little bit lacking in the upper frequencies, how much that has to do with the fact it's analogue as opposed to the original being, I think, digital I'm not sure. Maybe there's a calibration trim pot inside that can be tweaked? The patches haven't been "finessed" at the factory - that Choir is a prime example as there is zero attack. Maybe they were in too much of a rush to get it out of the door, but it's not a showstopper. And a couple of the wavetables don't quite loop right. That's just a firmware update though. Also, they are a lot "cleaner" than the original. They are less "steppy" which may be good in some respects, but some people are likely to moan about. Again likely to be "fixable" in firmware, whether it's the waveforms themselves or antialiasing. I mentioned elsewhere that all in all I think it's a pretty nice little synth in its own right, but haters gonna hate, right?
Australian stores just got some new stocks and my order is in..
Thanks for this demo. 👍

Thank you!

Close enough for the price! Ive geard they update the oscillators, they sound more like the original now.

I will buy this thing as soon it's available again. For 100 Bucks... it's a steal.
Why are my single notes doubled or even tripled on the sequencer...?
We will look into it for you
Fourth..
The saw strings were lovely and a few others nice but I’m not overly sold on this. I prefer the Volca’s but let’s see what else they release.
Probably need to program extra sounds to get the most out of this synth

Does it have envelopes and filter per voice or is it paraphonic?
As far as we know is polyphonic
Its paraphonic- StarskyCarr touches on this point in his review of the Pro VS Mini. So four voices summed and then that goes through one filter.
interesting!
Is there a HOLD function on this?
will try and find out

I wanna put it in my pocket and carry it with me everywhere
go for it!
Nice but there are more built in sequences you could have demode as well 👍
How are they accessed?
