Thanks guys. I've just bought one of these and you're right about the price. Way cheaper than the Korg Volcas (new). I was tempted by the JT4000 micro but I'm glad I paid the extra for Pro VS mini. Great little 'pocket' synth.

Something that strikes me is both this and the JT-4000 Micro have no MIDI CC for filter envelope amount, so you can't control that on your external MIDI controller. They have MIDI CC for evertything but that, but I don't think that's a secondary parameter.
Just a heads up for anyone considering buying this synth.
This thing is basically reduced to a cheap toy due to the joystick behringer has decided to use. It has barely any resistance and will fall out of position if bumped gently and can also fall out of position when you're simply taking your finger/thumb off the stick after adjusting it. I sent behringer multiple videos of the issue and they said it was defective but I went back to the store where I purchased my unit and both the demo model and another unit which they opened up, which was from different shipment than my unit mine was from, and the sticks were all the same. I dunno why Behringer would ruin such a promising synth by using such a cheap part to control such an integral function of a vector synth.
Just bought mine (July 2024) and I agree that the joystick could be better although it's not unusable. Despite that, these synths are actually selling like 'Hot Cakes' 🙂
@david_pilkington_music do you not find it falls out of position if you bump the surface it's on? Also I've noticed that you have to take your finger off the stick carefully otherwise it also falls out of position. Not really ideal for live performances given these kind of issues. I ended up returning mine, I weighed up doing a mod myself but didn't want to potentially screw it up. I wish Behringer would just opt for a better joystick and pass the cost on it'd amount to a barely noticeable increase in price.
