Hello, Electro MAgnetic! I'm trying to upgrade firmware on my jt-4000 micro with no success. I've downloaded Synthtribe v2.8.4 from official site and it seems to be the only version available. Turning on my JT box with two-buttons method. They blink as on the video. Synthtribe detects JT-4000 and says that the device is in DFU mode and starts the upgrade procedure. Application button changes to "Up to Date" but no reboot occurs. I've disconnected JT and after powering it on display shows me old v1.1.2 firmware. My system is Windows 11, no antivirus and firewall is turned off. What OS have you used for upgrade and what Synthtribe version? Without this upgrade the synth is more a toy for todlers. And poor users support from Behringer prevents me for buying anything from them. Subscribed to your channel and appreciating your work )) cheers!
I updated it on Mac os Ventura. And it was hard for me too to figure it out. I guess you could try on a different computer if you have the chance. I would not count on Behringer to solve the issue. My suggestion is to try until you figure it out. Sorry I can't be very helpful here. Thanks for the sub. Cheers!
@@ElectroMagnetic_AmbientMusic I've tried on Windows 10 and Windows 11. Will bug my friends with MacOS to do me a favor. BTW, new JT-4000M Micro is on sale with Midi input added. Though I'm afraid to buy another flaky box
@@nickshulba5062 risky move form behringer. everybody was complaining about the missing midi input, and they listened. But now all those who bought the first version are left with only option to trash the old one and spend extra 60$ or stay with what they have. not nice for me. Anyway, I still like the synth. A flimsy little piece of plastic with a great sound.
Sweetwater has it for pre-order and it’s the same price. I was about to buy one, but now I will wait or maybe just pre-order. I don’t really need MIDI in as I’d often pair with an iPad, but having it is better than not.
Don't have this gear....but We have Your Channel!!!!!... We Love how You Freely Help People!!!! BRAVO 👏👏!!!
Thanks! Very interesting... With this update, I'm starting thinking about buying this Behringer's synth...
They are releasing a new updated hardware version with MIDI port (trs)
Thanks for sharing!!!😀
I will update mine! Thank you!
Instant "Stranger Things" vibes! ❤
Great show! Thanks
gracias !!
Thanks for explanation! Are there any ways to factory reset Behringer JT4000? And where to get original factory sound bank? Thanks guys!
I'm quite sure it's possible to reset it. It should be somewhere in the last menu.
Works great with the Yamaha SEQTRAK. powers it and sends it midi
Great! Likely that the seqtrack has midi host, like a PC
I like this. Have one somewhere, I'll have to try the update out.
Check your pocket

What operating system are you running synthtribe on? I can't get out of version 1.1.2, and many people have the same problem
I updated from 1.1.2 to 1.1.5
Did you try the method I show in the video? I was stuck too.
They have brought out a new model with midi
I heard about that. But I guess it will not be as cheap as this one.

Is it analog?
Nope, digital
Analog filter but digital oscillator
