I'm firefighter just as Jennings was about score my pager went off for 10-50 PI accident so I missed all of 1st half being on call for 2 hours. Love these Snow games. Came back to find out we were ahead 28-14 at half time.
I had to work at the movie theater in Green Bay during this game and could only catch it on the radio. Between the snow and the Packers playoff game, I think we had two total customers the whole day. I've never seen a replay this complete before. Thanks!
This was probably the best atmosphere I've ever experienced at Lambeau, especially when the snow really started coming down later in the game. I feel sorry for NFL fan bases who don't get to experience elements like this.
Awesome game! Unfortunately we went on to lose one of the most heart breaking loses I’ve ever watched in my life. I thought for sure we were advancing to the big one.
You and I both... that 2007-08 NFC Championship game was the worst loss I had ever felt in my life, and in a way it’s still one of the worst I’ve ever experienced (2011-12 divisional being a very strong contender (reasons why I hate the Giants)). While I wouldn’t trade for a minute how 2007-10 went (which is honestly one hell of a story when you really think about it), I still wish that 2007 team could’ve made it to the big one, and at least had a shot at beating that Patriot team to bring Lombardi home.
John Stamos True but they did that to themselves in 14’. Favre and Driver had a miscommunication and it resulted in a INT giving the Giants excellent field position for a walk off game winning field goal. That is by far more heart breaking in my opinion then a whole defense and coaching staff giving up to early.
Same.. years later I jus watched the Alabama/Georgia championship game and the Bama QB scrambled out the pocket under pressure to shovel the pass and as a impressive as it was I always ALWAYS!! Remember this Favre play.. favorite play from my Favorite Packers game. The demoralizing deficit early on to the magical game they had and Grant was a stallion out there that day, nothing was stopping that guy
I remember watching this game. At no point did I think we were going to lose this game. Down 14-0, with 10:59 left in the 1st quarter, with Brett Favre, potentially last season as the Packer's QB, in Lambeau, in the playoffs, against Matt Hasselbeck. I felt the same way against the Giants the next week.... It ruined my year
What really blows my mind is that McCarthy stuck to his guns and kept Ryan Grant, who was a first year starter, in the game after fumbling the ball twice in the first 5 minutes. It paid off BIG!!!!
late in his career, Favre started to look different in cold weather games. like the really cold ones like the NFC Champ game that year.@@barbariansinbattle1687
Every time I see this game, I’m haunted by how that season ended... the season that made my fandom grow strong. 2007 was the 1st year in which I REALLY believed the Packers could make it to the Super Bowl again, and have a legitimate shot at bringing Lombardi home again DESPITE New England’s 16-0 year, and then Dallas rearing its ugly face again in the form of the young and then daunting Romo. When Dallas has been upset by NY and I realized the Packers were gonna host the NFC Championship for the 1st time since the 1996 season (year I was born), I never in my life had more pride and desire for a Packer win, and seeing the Packers win an NFC Championship at home was something I wanted to see so badly at that time... then, well we all know what happened after that. Crushed... soul, mind, heart... pride... I was in pain for months after the following week, and Favre’s whole retirement saga, and the Rodgers-Brohm QB debate didn’t help (that debate is beyond laughable today!). In the end when I look back on that, and then after watching Rodgers take over, have the promising 1st season in 2008 despite going 6-10, 2009 rebounding to 11-5 and getting the 1st taste in the playoffs for Rodgers (though we got royally shafted in that playoff game), and then living the glorious MAGIC that was the 2010 playoff run to Lombardi... I wouldn’t trade any of it! Been a helluva ride since then, and this past season going 13-3 and having that hope restored again has me thinking we might not be that far away again!
I'm a Giants fan, so....our defense is how the Pats got beat. Sorry, but if the Packers were there instead of us? Pats would have had a 19-0 Season. But alas, we were there to stop em. 18 Wins...and one GIANT loss.
@Tim Mosley as a Packers fan I completely agree with you on that. GB was not built to take down NE that year. We probably would have lost something like 38-24 of we made it. The way the Giants d-line was playing was incredible. I would have liked us to make it, but I would rather have lost this and had you guys stop them from going undefeated.
I truly believe that had we won the NFC Championship that year, Favre would've ridden off into the sunset for good, especially if we brought the Lombardi Trophy home to 1265. We had the team to beat the Patriots and even though the Giants did, it still hurts that it wasn't Favre who beat Brady. I agree with the others on here, that loss in the NFC Championship is the one hurts the most and still haunts me. This game though was probably the best game the Packers played since 1996 and the MNF game in 2003.
I was at this game as well as the next one, such different feelings after them both. But during this one you could feel after we tied it at 14 all that there was no way Seattle could stay with us in that atmosphere.
Man I remember this one. Was watching at my house and my Seahawks were up 14-0. Then ran down the road to my buddies house to finish the game. Should have stayed home.
*thank you for uploading this it's my quarantine entertainment. Love snow games. If the social media NFL community wasn't so biased against teams, watching any team play in snow would be amazing*
Was at this game. You looked up and the big flakes made you feel like you were in the Millennium Falcon going thru hyperspace. Grant must have been mad about the fumbles as I never saw a back run that before or since. He was a madman.
This game is a physical representation of what it is to have football at Lambeau Field. Is there anything better? There’s no better stadium than our stadium
This isn't too important, but can we acknowledge the fact that they have a southern announcer for a game that is NOT AT ALL in the south, or even looking like a southern type game. Not trying to be racist or anything, just an observation.
@JL-XrtaMayoNoCheese you know what, I realized a few weeks ago that the "southern" announcer (referring to Kenny Albert) is actually native to New York. I'm guessing you kinda knew that.
Section 101, Row 50, Seat 6... One of my favorite Lambeau memories with my father!

I miss games like this... Favre in a snowstorm is priceless!
Brett farve is the greatest Quarterback in packers history
@@sawyerprincl4102nowhere near Rodgers 😂

I dont. I been to plenty of football games. I rather watch it in the comfort of my home
This is the game that got me into football as a youngster, Brett Favre was so fun to watch
No one like Favre, ever - his boyish enthusiasm never flagged, he was really so much fun to watch.

Sort of, 2014 was pretty demoralizing. We beat ourselves that year.

But there was no way they were beating the Patriots. So it worked out better anyway, since NOBODY likes those cheating ASSHATS
Facts 🤦♂️ would argue 2014 vs Seattle was worst
4:59 One of my favorite Favre plays of all time.
damn i been looking for this game for a minute. 🤣

The first game I remember. Ryan Grant was always a favorite of mine as a child
I remember this game real well

That Giants game was hard to stomach. Still bothers me.

From back to back fumbles turned into 14 points, to an almost blowout. Wowza
Winning by 22 is a blowout.

I was at the game second row. I was so drunk the only thing I remember was a bunch of snow. It was great
I could only imagine how fun this game was to be at in person.
Crazy Seattle had that hot start and then was outscored 42-6. When Farve was on he was money
Love watching football in the snow.
Me too! 😊
being there was freaking AMAZING!!!
Man I remember this one. Was watching at my house and my Seahawks were up 14-0. Then ran down the road to my buddies house to finish the game. Should have stayed home.
That 2007 year should've been a SB. But hey that 2007 Giants team was so good too!
It is amazing how many players from this team were also on the Super Bowl 45 team.
Favre vs Brady 👀👀
Would've loved to see Favre v Brady
*thank you for uploading this it's my quarantine entertainment. Love snow games. If the social media NFL community wasn't so biased against teams, watching any team play in snow would be amazing*
This game happened 12 years ago and it's even more satisfying to watch today simply because it's the Seahawks.
I remember watching this game with my dad and it was a great game! Go pack!
it’s crazy to see all these players super young with farve compared to older with rodgers
Was at this game. You looked up and the big flakes made you feel like you were in the Millennium Falcon going thru hyperspace. Grant must have been mad about the fumbles as I never saw a back run that before or since. He was a madman.
Hey, you did it again, another great vid. By God those guys were fun watch. Thanks again.
michael bailey No problem! Thanks for watching!
What a classic packers game.
Ayeee, thanks so much! Pack fan for life!
You’re welcome!!
Favre is no Rodgers. But these kinds of games were so fun.
James jones as a rookie.... Classic game! #GOPACKGO 💚 💛
*I want to add this to a playlist! I'll attempt to watch the video more often on a bus with internet.*
This is going to be my Monday night football 🏈☺️ since I missed one yesterday 😬😂
I’m a big packer fan and love your vids
Thanks!!
Seattle led 14-0 to start, it finished 42-20, meaning, after those quick 14 by Seattle, it was 42-6 by Green Bay. FORTY TWO TO FUCKING 6
I remember this game - Atari Bigsby was a heat seeking missile this game!
I was there! One on my favorites!
It's wild to think that this was the last time we ever got to see a Brett Favre win with the Green Bay Packers :(
The greatest game I ever attended.
Wow I know how it feels to be in near subzero temps in Lambeau but not snowing in Lambeau
They had us in the first minute not going to lie.
i was so young when this game was on
I remember getting a snow day the next day
This was an absolute SHALACKING! All but 6 of Seattle's points came off fumbles inside GB's 20 in the first 2 minutes.
This game is a physical representation of what it is to have football at Lambeau Field. Is there anything better? There’s no better stadium than our stadium
Hey It's Me! Vikings have the best dome/indoor stadium
Hey It's Me! It doesn’t really matter since they have such a terrible team always playing in it
Hey It's Me! 0 Super Bowls😤keep up the great work by making it easier for the rest of the NFC north
Good game mike holgremen sorry you guys lost a classic for the ages way to go green bay take care and stay warm. Joe
Anyone in 2024? One of the best snow games ever..
Football...playoffs....snow....No Political BS.....those were the days.
i loved Aaron Kampman
Good old Ryan Grant. Fumbling in a playoff game in Lambeau.
Gerry Ellis, thinking of you.
Rodgers got into this game at the end
The game was already over after the first 5 minutes into the 1st.
Why wasn't Aaron Rodgers playing any games when he was first drafted in 2005?
Because Brett Favre that’s why.
Wasn't Aaron Rodgers the QB and Brett Favre was a backup QB?
Because FAVRE>RODGERS
Because Favre
I wonder.
Aj hawk brought me here
Brett FREAKING Favre
Am I the only one who didn't hate those Seahawk unis?
#GoPackGo

Why the hell did they keep using Ryan Grant?
I can't stand listening to Kenny Albert.
Brett Favre... The only time I liked watching the Fudgies!!! SKOL!!!!
Now you know what it's like to live in a snow globe :o)
