2014 was such a good year. Both teams got off to a rocky start to the season with rodgers telling everybody to R-E-L-A-X. meanwhile brady and the pats we're on to cincinatti after a rough game against the chiefs and then brady doing brady things ends up beating the legion of boom in the super bowl.

I think part of the source of Brady's frustration at the end of this game had do with how it seemed like the Packer's offensive linemen were working so well with Aaron Rodgers to get him loads of time to find playmakers while as for Brady and his offensive line, they seem to do well at moments throughout the game, but they seemed to struggle when it really mattered. If you combined that with the fact that this was a close loss, it's not to surprising to me that he was as emotional as he was there at the end. If he had been playing a game of Madden, he probably would have rage quit. It's not a mystery. One can clearly see here just how much the guy hates to lose.

Brady had a lot of “near miss” super bowl matchups in his career
      2001 and 2003 - vs Eagles. That 2017 SB could’ve been Patriots-Eagles IV
      2007 - vs Favre
2011 - vs his boyhood team, the 49ers
2013 - vs Wilson 1 year earlier or the 9ers
      2014 - vs Rodgers

It was a 10 hours flight from Mexico and a cold I've never experienced in my life... but it was the best game I've seen in my life: Row 20 behind the Packers bench... Rodgers to Nelson, a Davante drop (he was a rookie), Pass to Cobb to end the game, watching the THEN 3 times SB champion pass to Gronk, Amendola and Edelman (and this Pats team won ANOTHER SB), the only sack in the Pats last series, Mike Daniels and Datone Jones signed my jersey. So many historic and great games, the QB play was better than ever, the playoffs were awesome, teams like Buffalo and Cleveland had solid years for their standard at the time. Detroit made the playoffs, the cowboys were legit and exciting, and then you had the normal contenders that were at their absolute best
