    Pulled the trigger on a 2021 Troy back in October. The bike is amazing!!! No regrets!! Handles everything I throw at it. Climbs very well, descends even better!!!!

      Yeah it’s an awesome bike! I don’t think anyone would be bummed owning a Troy haha

    Nice comparison. My large 2021 Troy is set up much like the LTD model only with 150mm fork and We Are One Unions/DT 350 hubs. Weight with XT pedals and a PNW Loam 200mm dropper is about 31.8 lbs. The Troy is a quiver killer in that it's a true AM bike like the High Tower or Ripmo. It's not the lightest but it's surprisingly quick on the clock as you found out. Jury is out with me on the X2 shock. It has a lot of ramp even without any spacers. I didn't like it at first but it was squelching and Fox serviced it under warranty and it's quite a bit better now. For those considering frame weight my large was 7.5 lbs w/the X2 and rear axle.

      Thank you for the comment! That’s awesome that it’s so light! I definitely would like some lighter wheels, I don’t see the need for an AR 35 wheel set and am glad they changed it to 30’s for 22’.
      But yeah this bike is definitely rad! I have a factory 36 grip 2 in 160mm that I’m putting on it shortly then it will be pretty dialed!
      On the fox Shock, I do appreciate thay SC has a full setup guide for each bike. That’s one thing I wish Devinci had to at least get your bike close to what they want it to feel right away.

      I would absolutely love to add the Ripmo, I just am unable to get one for that! Definitely one of the top bikes I’d like to review though!

      @@dialedmtb well, I actually just bought a Ripmo v2 :) The reviews all seemed very positive and it felt amazing during the demo. I did a back to back short ride on an sb150 , Hightower, Ripmo and sb130.
      I need to take it out to Eagle at some stage to hit some trails !

    Thanks for the comparison. I currently have a RM Instinct Alloy 50 2020. I love that bike but I want to try something different. I’d like something with similar climbing abilities but a bit more burly for descending. Have been looking at the two bikes in your review and debating which one to get haha

    I have been looking into an All Mountain bike and I really do not know how I came across the Devinci Troy. It has some really great specs based on the price compared to other big brands. Only other bike that has similar specs and price is the Trek Fuel EX 9.7.
    Which one would you prefer @Dialed MTB?

    • @dialedmtb
      @dialedmtb  2 года назад +1

      I would for sure to with the Troy over the Fuel EX! Hands down. the Fuel is due for a complete overhaul soon.
