Hey Jacklyn! No, I do not recommend any of the shoulder stretches in a prone position. However, you could mimic the movement in a standing position and use a wall to deepen the stretch. For happy baby pose if lying down feels uncomfortable, you could do an assisted malasana squat and feel the same benefits. The cueing isn’t what I would cue for prenatal clients but it could be doable with some adjustments.
I am 26 weeks pregnant and I did the shoulder stretches standing up against a wall and that felt nice. I also use yoga blocks a lot for my hands in downward dog and cat cow for more space. Thanks for the malasana suggestion that feels really good. 😸⭐
