  • “Are you a family annihilator?” Prosecutor Creighton Waters asked Alex Murdaugh, who denied the allegation, before going on to list every lie the disgraced lawyer has told and admitted to in the investigation of his wife and son’s murders. Waters pointed out that many of the victims of Murdaugh’s lies were also victims of his financial crimes.

The problem with that is there's nothing that ties him to the actual murders. He lied about being at the kennels. Okay. So how did he kill Maggie and Paul? What did he do with the guns? How did he clean up in the ludicrously short time frame he had? Why was there no forensic evidence of that clean up at the house? Why was Maggie's phone logging activity more than half a mile from where we know Alex was?
Lying does destroy his credibility, but without more, I don't see where you get past reasonable doubt. We don't even have a coherent theory of the crime.

      - I hope the jury sees, this time is no different. The only yes in AM vocabulary is Yes, he killed his wife and son, or had it done. Period.

I had yet another thought: If Alex didn’t do it, how did he know to lie about what he was doing at the time of the murders? He said the reason he lied about being at the kennels was because he was paranoid due to his drug use. However, he ‘discovered’ the bodies at 10:07. If he didn’t do it, he wouldn’t know the exact time of death. He would only know they happened between approximately 8:45 and 10:05. That’s an hour and 20 minutes. Why lie specifically about the small window of time at the kennels unless he knew the murders happened before he left for his mom’s?

So he pulls up at the kennels and sees Pauls bloody body and tries to roll him over. Then goes to Maggy and touches her stomach which would be bloody from the wound. Then he calls 911 to say they've been shot and she tells him not to touch the bodies but he says he already has. The cops then pull up with their body cams on and Alex has no BLOOD on his hands nor arms or any where else because you see him clean on the body cams. How did he get so clean after touching those bodies when the cops got there while on the phone with 911? I'm not asking about when they were shot but when he was on the phone with 911 and he said he already touched the bodies. This proves he's lying because you can't bend over and try and turn over a body that's had it's brains blown out in which they said brain matter was all the way to his feet. He should have had blood on him because he said he touched their bloody bodies. I know when he was on the phone and came up to the cop his body cam showed NO blood on his hands, arms, nor the shirt. He's lying.
