    I did already know the results by looking att the pellet shape but thanks for showing mate. Flat heads are never accurate on long distance. Smooth domed pellets are the ones to go for. A well placed shot is more important than deformation there you don't want it. Cheers!

    Good video mate,,you cant go wrong with the jsb heavy,excellent pellet,very efficient and accurate and for hunting you wont never get a better .177 pellet for sub 12ft/lb,i use them all the time in my hw100 and they are laser accurate right up to 55 yrds plus,,you certainly get what you pay for,,as for that crap they call reapers well probably melt them down for fishing weights,,whoever makes them should be ashamed of thereselves,,keep up the good work and a well put together video,,👍👍👍

    Thanks for testing these +10gr pellets. I am after a pellet that will not go supersonic for target work in the backyard. I will not waist my time with the Reapers.

      They make a hole as opposed to a key hole shape so they are not tumbling or spinning. I think if I zero with them as opposed to hold under at distance they could improve as well

    Would have staked my house on the fact the Reapers would be AWFUL , and I wern't far wrong .. can't understand why I.Hunter continue to sell them and everyone who " takes a chance "' on them ( as they are usually discounted heavily ) will almost certainly be disappointed in them , no matter what they are putting them through ... surprisingly the Ultra Shock were better then I anticipated , I was expecting tea plate size grouping ... interesting video though ... subscribed

      @@biker5719 sub 12ft Ibs, is that 16 joules?

    • @biker5719
      @biker5719 Месяц назад

      @@keith6930 yes 16.27 Joules. Knowing the Joules you can calculate the velocity of the pellet because you know the pellet weight . I will calculate the velocity of 10.34grains pellet if you are using 16 Joules gun. Wait... Convert the weight of the bullet to kilograms divide it by 2. Divide 16 by that value you get square of its velocity. Find the square root and you get the velocity in metre/sec. Convert it to feet per second. So your 10.35 grain pellet fired from 16 Joules gun will have a muzzle velocity of 716.4 fps and a momentum of 0.52 pounds feet per second. It is better to us lighter pellets at 16 Joules of power because you get more FPS and more momentum. An 8.5 grain pellet at 16 Joules give and FPS of 790.64 and has a momentum of 0.96 pounds feet per second. So calculate and find the values according to the weight of the pellet and the power of the gun.
