I’ve been a convert for about 2 yrs, now. They’re awesome pellets. In my LW barrels, they outshoot anything else and the same goes for my Weihrauch. IMO they do lose a little stability past 35-40 meters but closer than that, they’re unbeatable for my guns. You mentioned that they’re nice and clean, and they are, but I’d also add that, in the hand, they feel like they’re mildly lubed. Great video 👍
I’ve been using these for well over a year and the new QYS 13g magnum are spot on and hit really hard. I stopped using JSB as the number of buckled skirts 60+ per tin was awful. Not seen a single buckled skirt in any QYS pellet and it’s got nowt to do with packaging.
Originally I used JSB exact 8.44 in my HW98, they were good but I tried a tin of QYS streamlined 9.56 and they were literally pellet on pellet at 30yds.
Same here in my 97K. I was shooting in the wind the other day and they wouldn’t group. I was testing in a new prosport, so I tried exacts and they grouped much better. Tried the QYS again the next day (no wind) and they grouped better than the exacts…lol. Now I’m really gonna have to test them in the wind to be sure. QYS is hands down the cleanest best looking pellets out of the tin I’ve seen. And the most accurate out of my 97K.
I’ve been using the QYS Domed 8.48’s in my R10 MK1 for a while now. My barrel has been a little pellet fussy. It pretty much hates all things JSB, which is a shame. I had previously settled on Bisley Magnums which have always performed well, in fact the still do over longer ranges. I’d had the QYS pellets recommended and thought I’d give them a go. What a revelation, single holes at 30 metres, the length of my garden range. I have a little video or two uploaded on my channel. They’ve become a firm favourite of both my rifle and I.
JSB Heavy’s were my go to pellet and they are still very good. Yes you get the odd bad tin and wobbly skirt (which is annoying) but my guns seem to like them. However, after using QYS 9.56g for the past year or so, I’ve noticed a couple of differences! Firstly I don’t seem to be cleaning my barrels as often as I would using JSB or other brands. They are very clean looking and yes I agree, better to handle, you don’t want to go straight for a butty after handling a JSB heavy 🥴 Secondly how much better to have a screw lid top,y go to pellet years ago was the wasp, which also had screw lid, and the bisley had little impressions in the tin to prevent opening up on you. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve had JSB open inside my gun bag or case and I find myself taking tape to the range.
I've been raving about these for about 2 years. I've only had one barrel out of around 20 that didn't like them. Pretty much the only thing I use these days. Give them a go!
Aloha from Hawaii. Hi Andy, I purchased a few tins of these particular pellets. I purchased the pointed pellets and the domed pellets, and I am very pleased with the cleanliness of these pellets.
I have been using all 3 weights of both designs for around 3 years and I have found them very consistent throughout all my guns (HW100, HW44, HFT500). The flat head pellets are also very accurate.
I have found these pellets the most consistent and accurate I have ever used. My unregulated S510 likes the 9.56 domed better than the streamlined. But my Daystate Huntsman Regal prefers the 9.56 streamlined both in 4.49 head size. So highly recommended but as usual try a sample before you buy as they are one of the most expensive pellets on the market.
QYS are the best pellets I've ever put through my Wildcat. Great for pest control and target shooting. I've not tried the pointed pellets as I try to steer clear of pointy jobs. The domed heavy are the ones I use, and have given improved accuracy at longer ranges.
I Gabe a few tins of these lurkers, and I'm very happy with the accuracy and the color cleanliness of the pellets. I'm impressed with the quality of the pellets.
Thanks for the review. I'll have to give them a try. Stopped using JSB after I received multiple tins with totally different weights and lengths inside. According to the label they are "Carefully selected" and supposed to be the same. Only using RWS and H&N now but I'll give QYS a try.
I have been using the QYS domed .177 8.48gr in my AA S510TR for several months now and they are the best pelletts I have ever used, highly recommened, you can also get sample packs (6 samples in pack if I remember rightly) and domed 8.48gr came out on top for me. 😁
I have to agree with the negative reviews. I picked up a tin when I was in Vector Air on Thursday looking at options to fill the vacant .25 slot on my FAC. Tried these pellets today at 40m and to my amazement the first one missed the bull by a little over 200mm. Don't think I've ever missed when using my BSA R10TH. I zeroed the rifle using Air Arms Field pellets (which the BSA loves) and then went back to the QYS. No matter how much I tried they were erratic with a very unpredictable spread.
I’ve used these in my HW97 and they were awesome. Couldn’t fault them. Three of us had a bit of fun shooting at 25 yards and there was nothing in it when we checked our targets.
Thanks for the comparison! I've only used the locally sourced pellets I can get my hands on here in the states and I'm only now learning there is a much larger world out there pellet wise. Even before I recently started looking into RUclips channels like yours, I knew ammo mattered from having been a Marine that it was the mass produced ball ammo I was shooting on the range that was keeping me from shooting higher scores. I always shot high expert but that wasn't good enough, I always wanted the best possible, and I was and still am a highly disciplined shooter. Doing it with pellets of high quality is much cheaper than using my Winchester 270 deer hunting rifle with Hornady Superformance ammo. When I was a kid, I shot my pellet rifle so much I instinctively knew where my cheap pellets were going to hit. Wish I could still have that same ability at 55!
Late to the party, but if this helps - Amazon currently (late September 2023) has the QYS domed 8.48 gr for $17.99US for 500; and their flat training pellets 8.2 gr for a couple dollars more.
Great Video and good to see a proper review of them. I have been using them for nearly 3 years now and agree with everything you have said. They are excellent quality and will work in every barrel I have tried them in and the smoothness makes them a dream to pop into a springer and the accuracy/consistency in it is incredible with them. I can happily take the HW95 out to 50m with them.
I really appreciate your reviews and this one is no exception. I have also found that consistency in the size, shape and weight of pellets is everything when it comes to accuracy. I recently tried the 177 zinc pellets and found them to be very fun in target shooting. Again, thank you Sir.
I have started using these in my Air Arms S400 MPR FT and my Air Arms FTP 900, and they are fantastic. I wont use anything else and shoot Target, HFT and FT.
Hi Andy been looking forward to this review for a while now because I wanted to see if you agree with me that in .177 they are the best pellets out there right now and all our guns like them. I love the presentation and cleanliness as you mentioned and they embarrass some other brands with the consistency of quality.
I shoot hft. The perceived wisdom on the circuit is in sub12 target work they start to lose their accuracy after 25 yards. They were originally designed for the 10m circuit so perhaps it's understandable.
Hi Andy yet another enjoyable review, a few days prior to watching this review I bought a sample pack of these QYS pellets containing six packets 50 in each, flat, pointed, round, round heavy, streamlined and streamlined heavy, , I'll be testing them all this weekend in my Reximex Myth , I was amazed at the quality and cleanliness of every single pellet, I spent 10 minutes or so going thought each packet and did not find a single damaged pellet I have been using Hades that my Coyote likes, that may all change soon.
Actually they have four regular designs, flat, domed, pointed and streamlined in std and heavy varieties (not flats) and semi-pointed in Magnum weight (13.3gn).The std/heavy pointed were available over 2 years ago, the new Magnums have just arrived.
They are accurate over 10/15mtrs, even in my 4.52 weirauch hw100, but absolutely useless at 35mtrs+.I tried airarms Df's,jsb's and find that H&n ftt's suit the.177 and the.20.might try again with my hw98,(that likes h&n too!)
Bought a sample batch from flea Bay. Qys stream line heavy. Best results so far in my R10 at sub12 lbs Of the dozen or so brands and weights I've tried. Very impressed so far.
I have used these in all my guns and the only one that doesn’t get on with Themis my m3 impact and they weren’t completely out there. Also while I’m on Andy I really appreciate the personal comments on the receipt from the merch thank you sir.
A member of our shooting club suggested that I test a new gun with a range of pellets to determine which one would be best. He had an extensive range to share for testing and after a magazine of 10 or more pellets, I opted to go on and use QYS “heavy”. They work well in my PCP’s when consistency of feed from the magazine is beneficial as well as in flight. I must say that I haven’t noticed that they are better in my 97k than JSB or Air Arms, but springers are a different beast altogether! Great pellets and worth buying in bulk.
I used them in a webley raider 14 and they were absolutely amazing from week to week taking the bull out even had a 7 shot through the 1 hole about the size of a 22 pellet
I use the 9.56 streamlined in my r10th, ultimate sporter, s400, tx200 and I use them in my s400 mpr ft for hft. I've been using them for about 18 months now and in my opinion you can't beat them.
I've used the lighter QYS Domed in my HW95 since grabbing a tin off the counter at VA while picking up a Gamo storm for my lad a few months ago. The 95s preferred pellet was AA Diabolo Field but the QYSs just tightened up the grouping by a smidge. Not able to test the springer in a rigg or vice but time after time the results spoke for themselves. Myself and the Weihrauch both like em and definitely my go to pellet at the moment 😁👍
It can work out dearer finding a pellet than buying the gun! Surely gun shops should run a service let's say 40 quid drop your gun off come back in an hour or so and a bloke says I found the best pellet for your gun at 30yards is this or that pellet. Enjoyed your show
My 'go to' pellet is JSB, and they've always given the best accuracy - certainly in my guns anyway. I have to say though, that the tins of JSB's I've been getting for the last year or so are getting worse and worse in quality, in fact the last tin of 0.177 heavies I used was @ 40% scrap. I'll definitely be trialling the QYS's very shortly. Bring on the 0.22's!!!
You will not be disappointed JSB have really gone down In Quality, I’ve been using QYS for about 4 or 5 years in competition shooting and the results are great.
I've been using QYS for a year or so in some rifles. As you say, it's the barrel that chooses the pellet. Both my HFT500 and Brocock Sniper HR are happy with either type of QYS, but for pure competition accuracy in 20M Benchrest under NSRA rules my HFT500 prefers the JSB Heavies, having won me my division in the Dorset postal league this year. I will be testing more before we compete again, but so far my barrels prefer the JSB's, but they do need more cleaning than with the QYS.
I’ve tried all of the QYS pellets including the new Magnums thru my Ratworks tuned R10 and my hw100 tuned HW110K and both rifles like them. I was really impressed with the magnums especially as I wasn’t expecting much from a heavy 13g .177 pellet. I was so impressed I think I bought 15 tins. Not tried them thru my Brocock Ranger XR yet.
I have been using them for some time. I, like you, have found them to be of extremely high quality and constancy. I always used to favour Air Arms Field but the last tin I bought were so poor I doubted whether they were genuine.
At 11m25s into the video you mention shooting out your bull. When i perform pellet testing I removed the zero from my scope. Eg I dial my scope so pellets land a little lower than my aimpoint. This allows my aimpoint to stay intact when pellet testing without shooting out your bull. My BSA 177 loves predator polymag shorts, the full length polymags dont fit. Great review thanks.
I love your videos and very rarely have issues with anything you say however given all competition in the UK is restricted to sub 12 ft/lbs and QYS pellets are very competition oriented wouldn't a sub 12 rifle have been a more suitable test rig? Perhaps you have to cater to a more global audience as your sub's near 200k? Regarding shooting out your aim point, when centerfire benchrest competitors compete they adjust the scope up or down an inch or two and the group is measured in clear space. This permits the maintenance of a minute aiming point typically as small as a hole in the printed number 8 on the numbering of the ring of your target at 100 yards. For your information the 100 yard record for a five shot group is a staggering 9 thou larger than caliber (a quarter of a spark plug gap) and the 1000 yard 5 shot group is sub two inches. A rabbit eared rear bag filled with heavy zircon sand bag also contributes hugely to the accuracy process. I hope you take this comment as a helping hand and not a destructive attempt to bring you down. Regards from Scotland.
Yes I agree with your view of them pellets as I've just bought a new 97kt in 177 and I use the jab exacts and have done for years in my 95k but my new 97kt shot a group like it was a shot gun at only 25 yards, now I've just been away to Whitby in my campervan and decided to take a drive to Pickering guns in Pickering obviously and they said try the qys dombed and now my 97 shoots pellet on pellet well Nealy even at 30 yards which ime happy with and what difference. I'me now Gona buy a PCP from them either a daystate or an R10 thanks for the review
Did a test yesterday and I agree they are as good if not better than jsb 10.34 but and a big but a lot less damaged ones and flyers . I tested from 30 to 60 yards shooting match sticks which seemed easy . I'll not be using jsb anymore .
The barrel chooses the pellet, now that's the truest statement I've heard. The qys look a very close copy of the H&N barracuda match that my HW80 likes the best .
I have been using these a lot recently. In both my Urgan and PP800. Great results. Using the Uragan, with standard QYS 25 yard and less they are pretty much same hole results. At 50 yards it's maybe a half inch spread and no flyers. I get similar with the goldstars but more flyers that I can't attribute to my shooting.
I shoot a daystate revere, had it for over 12 months, tried quite a few different pellets. My barrel, doesn't like JAB'S,at all.out of all the types of pellets, QYS,comes out the best. The revere I use,is 11.4-11.6 flb.I regularly shoot pellet on pellet, definitely the best 177 pellets by far.
Ps,pellet on pellet with QYS,and I have been using them with the revere, since the day I got it,I am amazed it's taken this long for someone to say how good they are! And as for paying a couple of quid more, for excellent pellets, seems like common sense to me.
I like the QYS Streamline 8.48 pellets I used to compete with them, I preferred them to the QYS Domes. Definitely worth a look. On weighing them they had very close tolerances in weight and very clean. Although I was disappointed as I recently bought a batch that weighed 9 grain and were difficult to load into my TX breech!! Because they are 4.50 they fly through any barrel and consequently you can get a higher feet per second with a heavier pellet which is unusual for a Spring rifle! However, after lots of pellet testing I use the JSB 8.44 4.51 which are the pellets best suited to my TX200 competition rifle. With QYS pellets I was finding that the groups begin to open up at around 40 yards which is not good for HFT. My Pro Sport and HW98 like them though!
Noticed VA are charging the same price for the different varieties, choosing a (low) middle ground price, rather than having a £3 spread over them, which makes buying and testing all 3 to see which my rifles prefer easier and if it's the ones that are generally more expensive elsewhere, even better!
@@bellshooter was shooting them Thursday using my Vulcan 3 . Not sure to be honest as my m8 only gave me 10 .... no where near enough to judge . But may try them in my r10 .
I’m on my first tin of the qys pellets,9.56gr streamlined, and they are absolutely accurate for my fx crown mk2,they will be ordered again, and will also need to try the domed ones 👍😎great video buddy
Yeah, great review. Definately the barrel picks the pellet. My only 177 loves H&N Barracuda Hunter Extremes but I would like to try the QYS as they do look much cleaner in the tin and well, I like to try the all out.
Morning Andy, awesome review as always. I would love to try them but all my rifles are .22 and I've been using webley accupell for decades and they work best for me and mine but if these come out in .22 I would give them a go
I am a big Accupell fan. I do have one of those JSB selection boxes of .22 to try (not got around to it yet!) There are so many parameters/variables to this that I don't think it is possible EVER to produce a comprehensive comparable test!
Morning All . As all ways a thorough and decisive break down and comparison thank you Andy you do this so we don't have to it is appreciated ' I have not tried these pellets as yet but will be quite soon . Big thumbs up Nice bit of grouping bye the way .
My Daystate Wolverine R loves them just as much as the JSB Exact. I'd buy them any day but watch for damaged tins. It'll be worth arguing on the cost if you've no other option.
Well I’ve got to say I’m Extremely disappointed, I’ve been shooting QYS in competition shooting for about 4 years with excellent results, Andy you have just Revealed my Secret, without a doubt these are the best Quality Pellets on the market, my average was 98.9 it’s now 102.7
you are dead on Sir, I never gave to much attention beings i just like plinking but I received a in of Vortex Strike and I couldn't believe how filthy, damaged, lose debris and even shavings still attached to the pellet there were. Its nice going back to something that some actual care went into making. Thank you for the videos and happy holidays from across the pond Sir
JSB needs to adress damaged skirt issues. Reading the comments i think it s vital for them. They didn’t forget to up their prices… What a way to give up on success…
100 %correct I won't buy JSB,S full stop the last tin of 500 22,s was absolutely shocking 328 of the 500 had damaged skirts and like you said for the price i expect a premium product not damaged rubbish
just started target shooting and bought jsb , new rifle peppering target at 25yd shooting range gave me some of these at 9.56 from jsb 8.44 (on a pcp) and they group better. try them and compare
Not to change the subject. Plus you probably don't play with BB's but the electric full auto seams to be very cool. Great for training ( AR-15 platform all metal cnc machined) close to 400fsp and no loss in power from the first shot to the last . Not sure if you did a review but if you can try and get your hands on one.
I've found this weight increase in the new tins that I bought and they were tight in my TX breech which also dropped the guns power. I've stopped buying them now unless I can get tins with the older batch numbers!
Trying them in different powerplant and power range could have been interesting even if every airgun is different They look like an interesting alternative being a little bit cheaper than Jsb's here
I use the streamlined 8.48 after trying a tin of the heavy version and never looked back they all shoot sweet as and very consistent without fliers like I had with the FTT. Now JSB's are shipping to America only I can see the stocks of these drying up in the uk as nothing is exporting from china right now. Great review maybe a great thing to use would be a riffle brace if testing anything and shoot indoors or no wind as you let the streamlined down, not your fault Andy I know it was breezy 😉
I’ve been using 9.56gr domed and streamlined in my Air Arms S410 carbine and have found them accurate up to 35 metres ( I haven’t had chance to shoot longer range yet) and great for ratting @ 10 to 15 metres.
I like the streamlined in the 9.56gr, seem to shoot well out of my katran, give some bisley magnums a test, they shoot lovely out of my katran, been shooting rabbit out to 45 yards!
After my first tin of 9.56 QYS everything else i had in the cupboard went in the bin. These are quality and consistent and out perform anything else i have used in 40 plus years of air-gunning.
Hi Andy, Thank you for this great, informative video on QYS pellets. They were a mystery to me, though now, after seeing your video, I'm much wiser. They look great and worth a try. However, I remember when you were describing the pellets, you likened them to your daughters bodily feel when she was born. I've read some of the comments, and one gentleman suggested they may be lubed?? I don't fancy whatever that may be lining my barrel. Thank you for your super video, but I don't fancy the idea of lube, though they look very well presented. Thank you again, Ian.
Watch the video again. When he talked about his daughters waxy feel he was talking about "some other makes" not QYS which, incidentally, are not lubed.
Great review Andy...i use a Gamo Cayote...and that barrel seems to like them along with the JSB EXACT 8.44 GR.. no complaints here, take care...shoot safe, Gordon.

@@0TheLastLoneWolfGuess it just depends on the barrel.
Performance of pellets are verryy highly dependent on the barrel of your guns. There is no one size fits all.
Those 9.56gr streamline have to be the best 0.177 pellet I've ever used, through multiple guns.
I do hope they bring out some 0.22 pellets sometime.

Yeah I agree. Same has happened to me twice . Its a avoidable pain in the arse .

I can't fault them. So much cleaner and no issues at all with the tins I've purchased. My air arms rifles all like them
Actually they have four regular designs, flat, domed, pointed and streamlined in std and heavy varieties (not flats) and semi-pointed in Magnum weight (13.3gn).The std/heavy pointed were available over 2 years ago, the new Magnums have just arrived.
Best results so far in my R10 at sub12 lbs
Of the dozen or so brands and weights I've tried.
My hw95 and hw100 dont like them at all, just average grouping and a few flyers amongst them.
It can work out dearer finding a pellet than buying the gun! Surely gun shops should run a service let's say 40 quid drop your gun off come back in an hour or so and a bloke says I found the best pellet for your gun at 30yards is this or that pellet. Enjoyed your show
I have several different tins of QYS pellets. And they are very accurate. I use the 8.4 grains pellets.
Have to agree. Although I’m new to shooting JSB have so many fliers and I know I’m new to this but sometimes they go nowhere near where I aim
Have you tried the 13.3 Magnums, my Lane regged AA US loves them out to 40 yds...
And yet Ratworks told me not to test with them as they are a harder pellet than the JSB’s they use to test regulated rifles. Hhhhmmmm??
@@krisdabrowski7482 I've shot a tin and a half without any problems.
I purchased several time of these pellets, and I'm happy with with them. I have the domed pellets. They are 8.4, grains.
I found no deformed pellets.
Did a test yesterday and I agree they are as good if not better than jsb 10.34 but and a big but a lot less damaged ones and flyers . I tested from 30 to 60 yards shooting match sticks which seemed easy . I'll not be using jsb anymore .
BRILLIANT Mate. Love to have seen them in a sub 12. Going to have to get some.
qys are the only pellets i use now domed and slimline, pity the price started to climb 12 months ago
I have several things of those pellets in different grains. I'm happy with them.
The barrel chooses the pellet, now that's the truest statement I've heard. The qys look a very close copy of the H&N barracuda match that my HW80 likes the best .
Would cleaning the barrel, re-leading with next test pellet and topping up the air cylinder affect anything?
I have been using the 8.48gr streamline in my Wolverine R. It absolutely loves them. 👍
My HW100 loves these more than any other pellet since I bought it 17 years ago. My HW100 hates JSB, like a shotgun pattern plate!!!!
Give them a go.
Sorry for the poor spelling. It was the barrel of my revere, doesn't like JSB PELLETS.
Interesting and great video sir, as always... this one just affirmed my preference for the QYS DOMED 9.56gr, my Weihrauch HW 30's favorite.
Used these pellets on my R10 se. And on a snowpeak P35 nothing is more accurate
Noticed VA are charging the same price for the different varieties, choosing a (low) middle ground price, rather than having a £3 spread over them, which makes buying and testing all 3 to see which my rifles prefer easier and if it's the ones that are generally more expensive elsewhere, even better!
I use the 9.56 grain in my r10th . Loves them and they are pin point accurate 👌👍thanks Andy for reviewing these great pellets. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
You might like the 13.3 Magnums for 30/40 yard pesting, really hit!
Nice to see you using a rear bag plus the bipod.....so many seem to not do so when 'accuracy' testing.......great shooting.
I do have one of those JSB selection boxes of .22 to try (not got around to it yet!)
There are so many parameters/variables to this that I don't think it is possible EVER to produce a comprehensive comparable test!
@@itsme-paul when I got my weirauch HW95K I tried air arms pellets, jsb and h&n but went back to accupell in the end!
I use QYS Match and QYS Olympic and they are brilliant.
Wish they made them in .22, maybe in the future they will.
Thanks, Andy; a very interesting and comprehensive review.
Very interesting
If you click your scope 10 to the left or right windage then you still have a bull as a reference point 👍
You should test them with a sub 12 budget rifle like the gamo phox or alike. But thanks for the review and your effort
The streamline are brilliant pellets, I've used them in a HW110, Kral Mortal and Brocock compact lite.
They didn’t forget to up their prices…
What a way to give up on success…
100 %correct
I won't buy JSB,S full stop the last tin of 500 22,s was absolutely shocking
328 of the 500 had damaged skirts and like you said for the price i expect a premium product not damaged rubbish
just started target shooting and bought jsb , new rifle peppering target at 25yd shooting range gave me some of these at 9.56 from jsb 8.44 (on a pcp) and they group better. try them and compare
Thanks another good video. I'd recommend adjusting your scope 5 to 10 clicks for the group testing. Then you don't shoot out your point of aim.
My red wolf loves the streamline 9.56 and that's what I feed it but my hw100 doesn't seem to like anything under 4.52.
Great video as always.
I use them in my Gamo Black Knight. 177 caliber rifle, and my Crosman F 4
Brilliant video I will give these a go l love your video they are the best of them all
Wouldn't pellet tests be more consistent if the gun was mounted in a vise?
Another spot on video 👍
No doubt about that, a batch testing rig is needed especially as the size of the groups was very close.
They should also be fired blind (as it were) to eliminate unconscious bias.
I find my springer and co2 smk rifle both love the 9.56gr dome and I only bought them on the recommendation of my gunshop
I am using QYS domed .177 8.48 gr for a while now, accurate i can say...i weight them myself and found that 8.48 gr is in fact 8.8 to 9.1 gr tho
I've found this weight increase in the new tins that I bought and they were tight in my TX breech which also dropped the guns power. I've stopped buying them now unless I can get tins with the older batch numbers!
I use them in my Reminex and are very very good indeed I don's use any others now
Trying them in different powerplant and power range could have been interesting even if every airgun is different
They look like an interesting alternative being a little bit cheaper than Jsb's here
Shoot real good in my kral npo3, amazing pellets 👍
I am using this in my 45 cm lw polygon, at 1064 fps. Got 0.5inch at 70 m. With no wind
I didn't know we aren't getting any jsb stuff in the UK anymore , why is that?
The importers , 'Shooting Party' have just had a shipment of QYS, including the new 13.3gn Magnums, there today stocking up.
@@aboutthemetal8783 the demand is so high in the usa that that is where they are sending them .
@@bellshooter they do a 13.3gn! i didn't know this. i thought the manufacturer was target orientated not hunter
@@geetee50 I use them for shorter range target work, great in wind...
I’ve been using 9.56gr domed and streamlined in my Air Arms S410 carbine and have found them accurate up to 35 metres ( I haven’t had chance to shoot longer range yet) and great for ratting @ 10 to 15 metres.
Which one more accurate. The domed or the streamlined one?
@@stevenyap6481 to be honest I haven’t noticed any difference.
I like the streamlined in the 9.56gr, seem to shoot well out of my katran, give some bisley magnums a test, they shoot lovely out of my katran, been shooting rabbit out to 45 yards!
Love your Work andy!! and cheers from Australia
After my first tin of 9.56 QYS everything else i had in the cupboard went in the bin. These are quality and consistent and out perform anything else i have used in 40 plus years of air-gunning.
Hi Andy,
Thank you for this great, informative video on QYS pellets.
@@davidgsmithguitar
Ok, thank you.
Great review Andy...i use a Gamo Cayote...and that barrel seems to like them along with the JSB EXACT 8.44 GR.. no complaints here, take care...shoot safe, Gordon.
Found these in the 13.9 grain .177.......AWESOME.
I do love them as well, spot on .
