This was exactly the video I was looking for. Clear concise, no nonsense, and told me what I needed to know - which M2 slot was Pcie 3. Even MSI datasheet doesn't state which of the 3 slots are Pci e 3 or 4.
The datasheet doesn't, but the manual PDF does...

The M2_2 slot is not really cooling my NVMe. No matter what I do, temperature still hitting around 67 degrees Celsius in idle mode. Pullling my hair here in how to bring the temp down.

@dalrae wanted to ask why did you put firecuda 530 (PCIE 4.0 x4) into M2_2 slot, which is the only PCIE 3.0 x4 slot, but then I saw your comment 🙂
Great video! Does the bottom M.2 affect the PCIe riser cable? How's the dust on the PC after some time?
The M.2 SSD on the back of the motherboard did not interfere with the riser cable unless a separate high-height heat sink was installed.
The dust accumulated on the PC is hard to answer about the accumulation of dust because I often change the PC build.

Nice video, this board seems a solid choice for a Z790 sff build.
Does the height of its VRM heatsink / I/O and the 2xM2 slots limit the number of compatible ventirads a lot compares to the MSI B760i?
It's not too high for an ITX motherboard with a stacked M.2 slot structure, and none of the CPU coolers I tested were non-mountable.
@@DalraeMyoOk thanks, that's good to know. Dark rock TF2 or C14s would fit with some low profile ram? Maybe you tried them? Possible orientations might depends on cases as well I guess.

찾고있던 영상이였는데 잘 봤습니다. 제가 구성하려는 본체, 보드, cpu 가 같고 그래픽카드만 4070 정도로 다릅니다. 제가 주로하는건 포토샵. 일러스트, 프리미엄프로와 에프터이펙트입니다. 메모리는 ddr5 16기가 2개 또는 32기가 2개 생각하고 있습니다.
이렇게 구성했을시 제가 쓰려고하는 용도로 괜찮겠지요? 본체를 h1 v2 미니itx를 가지고 있다보니 여기에 맞추게 되서 무리하나 싶은가 고민도 됩니다. 영상보고 많은 도움이 되었습니다. 나중에 공냉으로 변경도 하시는거 같은데 온도에 대한 수냉쿨러 역할이 불만이여서 바꾸신건지도 궁금합니다.
에프터이펙트의 경우 권장 메모리가 64GB로 알고있습니다. (에펙 관련해서 메모리 용량별 랜더속도 찾아보시면 굉장히 유의미하게 차이납니다.) H1 v2의 AIO의 경우 100% 부하시 137K를 버티기엔 힘듭니다. 적당한 언더볼팅이나 TDP제한이 필요합니다. 저는 1열 수랭쿨러에 대한 메리트를 거의 못느껴서 이후 공랭 빌드로 변경했습니다.
@@DalraeMyo itx로 굳이 구성하지 말고 일반(?) 컴을 공냉으로 구성하는것도 나쁘지 않겠네요.
나온지 좀 된 케이스이고 itx여서 선택의 폭이 좁더라고요. 램용량 확인 감사합니다.
ITX는 솔찍히 감성의 영역입니다. 가성비 고려하신다면 mATX나 ATX빌드하시는게 경제적입니다. @@user-qz9ut1vt5w
13900K, RTX 3090 조합으로 H1 V2랑 A4-H2O 둘중에 고민하고 있는데 H1 V2에 같이 따라오는 AIO 로는 발열이 너무 심할까요?
NZXT H1 시리즈는 ITX케이스 중에서도 발열제어가 빡세기로 손꼽히는 케이스중 하나입니다.
At 01:25 it shows the m.2 slots (appreciated!). My question is if you have x1 pcie4 and x1 pcie3 could you use the pcie3 slot for the OS and the pcie4 slots for everything else, or does the OS have to be in the top CPU slot?
If you want an SSD with an OS installed in a PCIE (GEN3), you can install it there. No special setup required.

Hi ! Why did you connect your Firecuda Gen 4 SSD into the Gen 3 M.2 slot ?
There's no big reason. I simply wanted to avoid placing it in the rear slot of the motherboard.
Fortunately, we used it as a backup drive, so even if the speed matched version 3.0, there was no big problem.

좀더 높은 오버클럭에 도전하고싶다면, edge보드를 선택하시면 되고 썬더볼트 기능을 사용할거라면 pg-itx/tb4를 선택하는게 좋아보입니다.

The Z790 chipset is a chipset that supports the 13th generation CPU by default without a separate BIOS update.

There's no big reason. Simply because the connector position on the cable seemed appropriate.
where do u buy the h1 rear panel?
In Korea, where I live, we sell Spare Parts separately. I bought it for $20 including shipping.
I don't know if it's possible to purchase it separately in other countries.
what are the results with undervolt?
13700k is fine with this AIO? or 13600k is a better choice?
It was judged that it was too much to withstand 240W CPU power consumption. Appropriate TDP limits seem to be needed. 137K looks like it needs a TDP limit if you're going to use the CPU 100% load.

제가 중고로 구매한 H1 v2의 경우 기본적으로 LGA1700소켓을 지원했습니다.
H1 V2 를 사면 LGA1700 이 패키지로 들어 있는건가요?

If you look at the MOSFET specifications used in the VRM, I think it is enough to overclock 13900K.
