Any thoughts on Gigabyte Aourus Pro X z790 all white? I like the all white pcb board but I feel like MSI is more reliable. My other option was thinking to go more expense the ASUS white formula Maximus not sure if I should spend that kind of money.
MSI is hands down makes my favorite MBs for 12th, 14th and 14th gen!!

Yes, you can have as much memory as you want. Just remember that if you get 4 sticks that it has to all be the same. As far as the 2 48GB sticks, yes you can do that as well

Right now AMD... It depends on the year, I just like who offers the best thing & I regret getting the i9 14900k because of the thermal throttling stuff everyone has been dealing with.

So ya, that doesn't have a permanent answer, it's always changing...... however, it was intel for well over 5 years before the 7000 series released & I even preferred 12th and 13th gen over amd, but 14th gen sux
Why 4 sticks of RAM? and how much total gb of RAM? Just curious as I just built a new pc using MSI MPG Z790 EDGE WIFI and only used 2x32gb DDR5 RAM
MSI did an amazing job with there XMP, it doesnt matter if you get 2 or 4 sticks. MSI dominated 12th, 13th & 14th gen for motherboards

Do you need to update the BIOS for it to be compatible with 14th gen cpu's or no?
No you dont have to, this is designed for 14th gen specifically
@DanDoesPC I talked with MSI about this and was told unfortunately they don't know what BIOS version these are shipping with. It may come 14th gen CPU ready or it may need a BIOS flash. But they did say you can flash the BIOS without having a cpu in the card to get it 14th gen capable if needed. I'm personally hoping/thinking that they would be shipping these 14th gen ready by this point but we will see once my MOBO gets here.

They are all the same socket. Probably none say it because listings only allow a certain amount of words.
It's foe q4th gen, but works woth 12th and 13th gen also
