    For those with NZXT H1 v1 case: I was able to install the SL-100, following the steps from the video. It was kinda hard to install it properly, and the fan does not fit it perfectly, but the temps are kinda good.
    Temps: (28/29°C Avg on my room - Summer Season) - AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (Overclocked at 4GHz on a Hackintosh)
    - CPU temps: on idle 45 / 46°C
    - Max temps on benchmark (Geekbench): 54°C / 56°C
    - Tip: Undervolting CPU could decrease a few °C.
    Kinda good, not sure if this is much better than the NZXT pre installed AIO, but as a replacement seems just right. Also as I said before, this temps are on Summer Time, with 40°C outside and 29/30°C inside the room. I expect 32 / 35°C CPU temps on idle on Winter Season.
    Thanks to @DalraeMyo for the video!

      Hey, I got this cooler as well and tried to install it on my AM4 board, but the cooler is kind of too wide on the left side of the case, it is pushing against the support pillar of the case, even without a fan attached. I'm no expert in PC building (hence I got the H1) but am I doing something wrong? In the video, he's using an Intel board and that mount allows him to rotate the cooler 90 degrees, so the long end is on the bottom rather than on the left side. But you seemed to manage to install it on an AM4 board. I'm using an MSI B550i Gaming Edge Wifi motherboard if that changes anything.
      E: I think after comparing some B550i motherboards just visually, my MSI board just has the CPU mount very far on the left side. Guess that's bad luck then, have to return it and get the V2.

    • @DEV_XO
      @DEV_XO Год назад

      @@drchtct Happened exactly the same to me mate. The Cooler is pushing against the support. Try to figure how it works and fits better (for me worked like in the video), and install it without the fan first.
      The fan will not fit perfectly either, and the claps or the grabbers from the fan will not install properly. In my case I had to tie them with some black "zip ties" or whatever them are called.
      In the end, I was able to install it, and modify the V1 case to close it properly (like in the video).
      I was struggling for a bit, but with patience and following the video I was able to fit it and install it.
      Also the temps are pretty good, as I said in some other comment, or on the top one.
      Notice me how it goes mate. And do not surrender, it should work with patience.

    • @drchtct
      @drchtct Год назад

      @@DEV_XO Thanks for your replay mate. What motherboard do you use? I think my CPU is just placed too much on the left side. I compared the photos from other boards and they seem to have it more central.
      I don't know, I really tried to squeeze it, but don't want to damage anything because I can't return it afterwards if it's scratched and stuff.
      If it doesn't work it's not the end of the world, NZXT refunded me the money for my entire H1 because they couldn't deliver a new AIO during the warranty time.

    • @DEV_XO
      @DEV_XO Год назад

      @FlashTVBox My motherboard is a B550I AORUS PRO AX
      As I said before, in my case does not fit it perfectly either (besides the Cooler is installed correctly and mounted as It should be) it's more or less on a left side, and looked like I could break something, but following the video, and figuring out how to setup it properly, it ended up working.
      I know the feeling about that it will not fit or you could damage the cooler / anything else, as I said, it's kinda hard to make it work and you need to try to fit the Cooler in a few ways (for me worked like in the video, same position / orientation )
      I don't wanna you to push it to the limits and make it work, in my case had no chance. Was to make it work, or to go for a new case, or a Noctua lower profile CPU Cooler. (With lower performance for sure)
      If you can get a new case, or to make a refound, feel free to go for it.
      Because no matter if you install the cooler, the H1 case still need to be modified (like in the video).
      So yeah, notice me how it goes and what you will end up doing. I'm "developerxo" on discord, in case you wanna add me, maybe I could send you some images from my build.

    • @drchtct
      @drchtct Год назад

      @@DEV_XO I just tried to fit it again and the cooler itself now fits in but it's still below the support pillar. So I tried putting the fan on top and it would be offset by a few cms to the right, so I need zip ties and have no idea how to mount the fan without reaching the left side of the cooler.
      I think I'll just go for the Noctua LN-L12S as it includes 90 degree kits for mounting it in other directions. It is about 5 degrees hotter than this one, but I don't really mind considering I'll stick to Ryzen 5 in this case anyway, and the temps you showed +5 degrees is still more than enough for me. Just want it to finally work again..

    PRO TIP:
    If your motherboard is GIGABYTE or AORUS AM4 - this may not work for you as the AM4 cpu socket is offset to the far left side of the case. A solution would be to buy a thermalright AM4 bracket for Peerless Assassin Series so you can flip the heatsink perpendicular to the IO ports.

    저도 NZXT H1 V2 12900K + 3080슈프림 사용하고 있는데 케이스에 달린 1열 수냉 보다
    현재 장착하신 공랭이 효율이 더 좋은건가요 ? 따로 실험을 해보셨을 까요?
    추가적으로 CPU 언더볼팅 하는 방법도 알고 싶습니다 형님!

      CPU 냉각성능은 LP공랭 쿨러보단 일체형 수랭쿨러가 더 좋습니다. (140mm 일체형 수랭쿨러의 경우 대략적으로 듀얼타워 대장급 공랭 쿨러 성능은 나옵니다.)
      다만 절대적인 냉각 성능 외에 쿨러가 구동하는 소음에 저는 불편함을 느꼈고, 수랭 쿨러보단 공랭 쿨러를 선호하는 것도 있었기에 과감히 수랭 쿨러를 탈거하고 공랭 쿨러로 변경하였습니다.
      CPU 언더볼팅의 경우 CPU마다 수율이 다르기 때문에 직접 안정적인 값을 찾으셔야 합니다. 언더볼팅하는 방법은 여러 가지가 있지만, 저는 귀찮아서 보드 제조사에서 제공하는 프리셋 값이나 CPU 전압 오프셋 설정을 주로 사용합니다.

      @DalraeMyo  Год назад +1

      asus가 프리셋을 제공하는지는 모르겠습니다. 단순히 cpu 전압설정을 오프셋모드로 음수값을 입력해서 내릴순 있습니다. asus이 B칩셋을 사용하는 보드는 전압을 높이는건되는데 낮추는건 불가능한걸로 알고있습니다.(성능이 크게하락)

    혹시 전면패널은 기본강화유리로 사용하면 온도가 높을까요?

      열기를 배출할 면이 하나 줄어들게되니 아마 4면 메시패널보단 온도가 살짝 높아질것으로 예상됩니다.

      그래서 소음에 민감하면 공랭이 답입니다 ㅎ
