    Good to see simple mods improve things significantly. One thing I'm wonderin though, you shouldn't really be getting these high temps at gaming. I had an H1 for 3 years now and the CPU was always fairly cool, mostly at like 70 degrees. 95 is insanely high. When my AIO broke and the water didn't flow properly anymore, it was at 95-100 degrees

    • @rashbalash
      @rashbalash  Год назад +1

      Hey! Yeah so you're exactly right, my AIO was actually messed up and I was pretty ignorant of the issue and temps when I made this video. I've since gotten a new AIO and the temps are mostly around 70 degrees now.

    @LunaKatana Год назад +2

    Firstly, this isn't a critisim, just an observation.
    At 4:29 you say that the Noctua didn't have to ramp up that much, but the temp was at 95 degrees C, which is quite hot! Given that under extreme load the Noctua fans sound basically silent compared to the NZXT ones, is there a reason you're not running them faster to bring the temps down further?

    • @rashbalash
      @rashbalash  Год назад

      Hey! Sorry for the really delayed response, also I really appreciate the feedback. You're definitely right. I placed an importance on sound over the temps, which was why I didn't end up ramping it up. That being said, it's likely damaging the CPU in the long-run and probably hurting performance.
      That's something i'll focus on fixing in my future videos!

    Great vid! I recently purchased the H1 as my first PC and the noise level is insane so after watching this I also decided to upgrade my fan just like yours. Problem is, I don't know where to plug the Noctua 4pin cable to. How did you connect yours? Did you connect it straight to the motherboard or to the NZXT fan controller thing?

    • @rashbalash
      @rashbalash  2 года назад +2

      Hey! Sounds like you might have the H1 V2? With the newer revision of this case, you can plug it into either the motherboard or your NZXT Fan Controller. I plugged mine into a regular fan header on my motherboard.
      In your case, I would recommend plugging it into wherever the NZXT 140mm fan was previously plugged in and simply follow the same wiring!

    H1 V2 or V1?
    Is there a difference in fan size between them?

    • @rashbalash
      @rashbalash  Год назад +1

      I would go with the V2, it has more space for a GPU, an extra fan for the gpu which should improve temps, and an extra IO port! Theres no difference in the CPU AIO fan size though

    • @rashbalash
      @rashbalash  Год назад +1

      Unfortunately most motherboards that i know of have a locked threshold for which the computer will automatically turn off. But this seems more like a cooling issue, because your computer needs to surpass 105 C. I would first check your cooling solution and that everything is setup correctly. It could be the AIO is having issues.
      If it’s not that, let me know and I’ll do some more digging!
