    I got this case on sale for $200 & was able to build my first PC in 2 hours. It's got a 7600x & 7900xt. It has 32gb ddr5 6k ram, 2 tb nvme ssd with a really good read/write speed. The temperatures are really good. It runs every game I've played at max settings, & I spent a total of $1472 plus tax. I'm so happy with it.

      How’s the noise because I keep hearing complaints about that

    • @prefontaine2790
      @prefontaine2790 3 месяца назад

      @@ethaneaves_04 Mine is silent. I don't have any sort of whine at all. If I tweak the gpu fan settings it can be a little loud, but the cpu cooler is quiet on max settings. I don't think it's the best deal at $400, but for $200 it was a steal for sure. If it didn't already have an AIO, I think a 7600x would've been fine with a regular low profile cpu cooler.

    For anyone considering this case, one thing to keep in mind is the idle noise that comes from the case. Since the pump is always on I noticed a constant high pitched buzzing noise coming directly from the water pump. Seems like its a common issue. Once the system has load the fans hide the noise but if you're someone who uses the computer for browsing or other idle like usage the noise might get very annoying.
    I loved everything else about the system but the noise was driving me crazy and prompted a return for me. Just an FYI.

    I have the Nzxt H1 V1, it's a great form factor. I would rather upgrade to the NRP200 Max or go with a "small atx" O11-Dynamic Mini.
    New PSU ATX 3.0 standard for the next gen GPUs that need more power and probably take up more space, plus being able to fit 240 mm AIO.

    I just bought this case. One fundamental flaw with the case. The 750w psu doesn't have a 0% fan mode. It spins all the time and the fan is noisy! REALLY NOISY! And at idle (only using 120w) its very noticeable as all other fans are running at low rpm. Such a disappointment. Buyer beware! I'll now have fork out for a SF750 because it at does have a zero fan mode up to 300w. The NZXT unit is very cheap, and for the price they are charging its simply unacceptable. Most review don't mention this. Avoid this case.

    This is not gaining back my trust to be honest: I’m sure quality control has been reviewed but to me it shows a bigger problem: requiring pci-e raisers introduce a point of failure companies addressing a consumer market are not equipped to handle in my eyes: server raisers are far more expensive solutions for good reason.
    The v1 of this case then and the on going difficulties to source pci-e 4.0 cables honestly make me not even consider sandwich only cases as an option.

  • @DarthChewie
    @DarthChewie 2 года назад

    Absolutely would NOT trust this case to cool a high-end CPU. A 140 AIO is not enough to run this chip at acceptable temps. There are other cases on the market (SSUPD Meshilicious and Hyte Revolt 3) that support 240/280mm AIOs in a nearly identical form factor.

    • @erod3975
      @erod3975 2 года назад +2

      Ehh, what does "acceptable temps" even mean? I had a 5900x and 6800xt in a brand new H1 V2. CPU hit 81c while gaming and idled at 45c. As a gaming machine this is perfectly fine and within spec. They are acceptable. GPU didnt go above 75c (I have the Asus TUF variant).
      Just for a sanity check I swapped in a 5600x and this chip obviously looks better on paper. It idles at 35c - 41c, and gaming temps never crack 70c. GPU temps remain unaffected
      Both scenarios yielded "acceptable" temps in my book, though personally I'm sticking with the 5600x because this is a 100% gaming focused PC.
      The biggest issue is the PSU fan running full speed and making too much noise. I had to swap in my Corsair SF750.

    • @DarthChewie
      @DarthChewie 2 года назад +1

      @@erod3975 First and foremost: Nice build!
      Secondly, I never said there was an issue with GPU temps. The GPU has great access to fresh, ambient air.
      For CPU temps, I was referencing the 91C shown in this video on a 12700k (non-overclocked). Truth be told, I'm not thrilled when CPU temps sustain over 80C. My preference is to try to use PCs for as long as possible, so I like cool temps as that can supposedly increase their lifespan.
      Your 5900x only hitting 81C on a 140 AIO surprises me, is it an aggressive fan curve? I'm not surprised the 5600x runs so cool, it's not what I would call a high-end CPU, moreso an excellent mid-range option.
      Regardless, you have an amazing build. I was just sharing my thoughts on this case, and how I believe there are similar cases that offer better performance; although that is only based on reviews, not personal experience.

    • @erod3975
      @erod3975 2 года назад +1

      @@DarthChewie heard. Didn’t mean for my initial reply to seem combative btw. All fair points.
      The temps on the 5900x were in gaming loads, so the cpu was not being taxed as much as some of these all core, 100% utilization tests. I swapped the fan out for a BeQuiet Silent Wings 3 fan and set the fan curve in cam manually. I kept idle speeds at 50% and ramped up to 100% when the chip hit 80c. I also swapped to intake for the CPU, which helped a lot since my ambient temps are quite cool.

    • @DarthChewie
      @DarthChewie 2 года назад

      @@erod3975 True, gaming loads are less intense. Smart move to use the fan as an intake, and those Silent Wings fans can be pushed really hard while living up to their "Silent" name lol!
      Glad you're liking the case, I'll have to reconsider my stance on the H1 v2 whenever I start my next build (once GPU prices aren't horrendous lol)

      @PDXCustomPCS 2 года назад

      @@DarthChewie Just for some quick useless info. Ive had a Celeron D, Core 2 Duo E6400 and quad 6600. I also have a 7700k/8700k that have lesser temps but are both many years old. Every older CPU of mine has been gamed on and beyond 100c for years, and the 8700k has lived at 5.1ghz since new. They all still perform as new. My point is, 91c is nothing to worry about. Even 100c constantly 24/7, you should expect a 5 year lifespan minimum.
