    Thank you so much for showing ALL of the cabling details and the setup for the AIO pump/CPUFan configuration in the BIOS... this was a thoroughly detailed build which gave me all I needed to know to tackle it myself now and you are the only person I found so far that has shown ALL of the motherboard cabling details. Excellent video, you have a new subscriber!

    I picked one of these up also, actually made a profit from selling my old AIO, PSU and Case. Main reason it's cheap is down to the V2 version which is better equiped for Gen4 GPUs. I also added x2 120mm Nuctua slim fans externally on the back panel as the holes align to fan dimensions. This massively helped pull heat out which is the biggest issue with the case, again has been addressed in V2. Great vid, I really enjoy your build videos!

    I love it when the instructions are inside something and then the first thing in those instructions is how to get inside the thing the manual was in. ;)
    I'd imagine this case might have fallen out of fashion with so many GPUs more than 2 slots now.
    I had the ultimate DOH moment as I specifically bought an ITX case that fits 3 slots, but the PSU blocks the third fan on a 3080 causing the fans to run 100% to compensate for poor airflow on that fan. Really need to find another case, but there are few that will fit on the shelf I have it on - they're usually too tall.

    Nice build, I think the OCD in me would have mounted that M.2 parallel to the motherboard just because it would bug me. I doubt the client will ever go in there so all you would be doing is wasting time. I don't know what availability is like on your side of the planet but here (Seattle, Washington, USA) the Hyte Revolt 3 is going for $130US including a 700W PSU on NewEgg. All steel construction and in many respects the next gen on from the NZXT H1V2. I bought one for my wife's gaming computer and it's a lovely case to build in. More build videos please. They're very relaxing.

    I wouldn't think it's a good idea removing 70% of the chipset heatsink surface area and also putting more heat into it. There is nowhere for the heat to go. My suspicion is that you made the temps higher for both the chipset and the SSD with that pad there.

    A bios update for the Asrock A520M-ITX/ac motherboard to v. 2.20 was just released 12/29/2022. The NZXT H1 case shown on Amazon appears to have 2x USB 3.0 ports + 1x USB C port at the top of case. So: maybe your NZXT H1 case is an older version, if it has only 1x USB 3.0 port?

    • @l337pwnage
      @l337pwnage Год назад

      Ya, that helps prevent this from happening. It locks it to full speed and fan curves won't affect it.
      I've seen him run a pump curve on his personal rig, but for a customer, I'm sure he'd normally just pick full speed to save potential problems.
      I used a premade system which ran hot and that was the same problem. The pump was running too slow because they didn't set it up correctly in the bios.

    What AMD should do is put in a dummy CPU code in all bios that is compatible with a single core of any AMD Zen based CPU so that even if the CPU isn't natively supported by the board the bios can be loaded to perform a flash. I've owned several AMD boards in the past that were functional with CPUs they didn't recognize so i know they are capable of this. Or integrate a small low frequency low power x64 CPU into the southbridge to be used just for bios features. They could also spend a dime and have the eeprom socketed so a technician could easily remove and program the eufi/bios. I'd pay a bit more for boards that had such headache prevention features as standard.
    Edit: NZXT really should have placed that warning sticker on the peel instead of the glass directly. Or used a sticker that is like the peel itself a static adhesive one.

    Another great vid but a few small errors: the H1 comes with a 140mm AIO not a 120 as mentioned, also the power supply is 750w not 650w so I'd say its probably capable of handling up to a 3080 paired with a lower wattage CPU, especially if you undervolt. I think they could have a version for a 3-4 clot GPU in here if they extended it a bit. since the CPU is as important as the GPU, having the chunkiest GPU possible may be a worthwhile upgrade, and you can get CPUs that will stress that 120mm AIO, would be a huge performer in a small space.

      Sometimes motherboards with two M.2 slots, have one that is closer to the motherboard PCB than the other. In such cases, there will be two securing posts and screws provided with one set being shorter than the other. Using the wrong post and/or screw with an M.2 slot will cause the M.2 drive to not be parallel to the motherboard or loose, as it is in this video.

      @@ytQrash then that in my opinion is a serious issue with manufacturing. M.2 devices should (in my opinion) be secure tight. After many years of issues with ASROCK motherboards I will never trust them and I have around 30 years experience with computers
