TLC's Sister Wives has returned for it's 18th season and the hypocrisy, inconsistencies, and out right lights are being exposed.
This episode has me fired up. Over the seasons, Robyn and Kody have put this family through hell. Kody has allowed his favoritism to dictate the treatment of his family. Robyn has used every manipulation imaginable to get what she wanted from the family. For me her desire to be the center of attention and pitied sank to a new low as I watched her use her children to solidify her image as the victim of bullying within the family. Disregarding the other children in the family to get what she wanted was reprehensible, but using her own children to corner the pity party market is next level.

Yep!! That made me so angry! Having to deal with an ex that is a master manipulator-I can see exactly how these two (Robyn and Kody) are pros at twisting the truth in their favor. I pity their kids.

The way she treat the kids by saying stepkids is a way to draw a line that she doesn’t accept them as her kids just as Meri, Janelle and Christine sees themself as mom to all the kids and says our kids.

Plus, their bio dad has cancer and is not doing well. Mykelti indicated that Robyn’s older three kids didn’t even know. Even if he was abusive, they are all adults now and deserve to know and make a decision whether or not to see him if he’s dying.
We can see why Robyn had to destroy the text thread. She couldn't risk her children learning the truth.

Robyn was the one who didn’t want Kody’s other kids because she said they were not SAFE! She did the same thing to them Thanksgiving 2020. Robyn told them that on camera and had them crying 😡

Robyn & Kody should be investigated for the mental and emotional abuse of all five of those kids.
Those children are intelligent academically but they are emotionally stunted, insecure and functioning with extreme anxiety by the hands of their own mother & adoptive father.

Just like there’s always someone available to monitor treatment of animals on tv shows & movies, there should be a separate entity to monitor underage children on tv shows and movies. Especially these reality shows.

Everyone is going on about the OG kids and sure it’s messed up but the real damage is going to come out of Robyn’s 5. Those kids are screwed. At the the OG are away from the toxicity. Those kids are victims of Robin. The psychological damage of telling children that their family hates them. When so clearly the other siblings have shown nothing but wanting to see the other kids.

Kody and Robyn view their collective children as extensions of themselves - it's gross and objectifying. Your children may not be fully grown but they have the right to think for themselves and not be shielded from "choosing for themselves" in "the outside world". At what point does this become Stockholm Syndrome? If Robyn's children defy their parents, they will clearly be shunned and discarded. If they are "loyal" and "respectful" now they have to live in constant anxiety, fear and manufactured sadness. And how much do you want to bet they are being encouraged to cry on Tv so Kody and Robyn can collect a paycheck? 😔😔😔

100% I actually feel the most pity for Rob's kids because they don't have a chance. I know they're rude and have this "we're better than you" mentality but that's because they've been emotionally abused and manipulated by their mother since birth, they're isolated and told that everyone hates them. Imagine what it would feel like loving your dad and your dad's family, then being convinced that your dad and his family "hate" you, so your mom gets you a new family with lots of siblings, you love this new family, you love your siblings, you think it's your 2nd chance, then you're told that your entire new family hates you too, now we've been abandoned by 2 families and you're wondering what's "wrong" with you and why you're so unlovable. Robs is lucky that her kids are functioning right now, that may not be the case later, they may suffer severe consequences from all this abuse. It's incredibly creepy that they even dress like Robs, I've never seen girls in their late teens and early 20's wear ill-fitting, floral, polyester tops with mid-wash jeans and curled hair, they dress like moms from the mid-2000's. There's nothing modern or trendy about these girls so it really makes you wonder if they have friends or if Robs keeps them so isolated that she's ALL they know, that's probably why they're so rude, they don't know how to behave in social settings. They're almost 22 and 20 but don't seem to be doing anything with their lives. I think Mac Tonight is about to sell them into polygamist families so they can be sister wives with a bunch of kids, that'll be how MacRobs tries to keep the show and her storyline going, on the backs of her girls.
What's wild is that this is actually a common practice among religions like this. It clearly seems like Robin and Kody want the kids to grow up Mormon, and a part of the culture is telling the young members how bad and evil the world is. It keeps them clinging to the church. I wonder if all of this is a manipulation tactic because they feel the other family is "bad" for not choosing their faith as extremely as they do. Could explain why Gwen said she's not allowed to be alone with Soloman.

James, I feel like I speak for many of us when I say THANK YOU FOR SAYING IT! It was cathartic to hear you lay into Robyn the way she deserves for putting her children through all of this. Only in this area? Think it’s safe to say that Kody and Robyn are just full out unfit parents. You can’t even call them parents. They’re baby mama and baby daddy. As for parenting, that’s a foreign concept to those two.

You nailed it. Robyn doesn’t seem to view her children as their own people but as extensions of herself. She controls what they do, who they see, and what they think. She keeps their world so small to maintain their dependence on her.

Imagine having a mother like Robyn setting you up for the challenges in your life. She looks so fearful, so confused about her position within the family. Your family should be your safe haven. Having Kody around as their parent seems to be on a conditional basis. If you don't act right, say the right thing, you will end up like his other kids: Discarded for Christmas. How can you set foot in this world without knowing your soft spot to land. I feel for these kids.
Yes! It seems that there’s a narrative/undercurrent that if the others aren’t moving heaven and earth to do what R&K deem to be the right thing, then that means that those folks have no desire to be around them. The “if you really loved us, you’d do this.” The audience saw this with the thanksgiving talk.
What's also sad is that her 3 older kids have a biological father who wants a relationship with them and she has cheated him and the kids out of that. Dumb ass Kody going on about Christine's karma. If I were him, I'd be more worried about Robyn's (and his).

Last year instead of saying Janelle is spending holidays with Oder kids and wants to see her grandkids she sat them down on camera and made it sound like that no one wanted to see them for the holidays!!!! Like it’s because of them!! I think it’s abusive. She’s already succeeded at parental alienation, now she’s working on sibling alienation.
I couldn't believe this! No, she wanted to see her own kids and grandkids that lived on the other side of the country, so she rarely sees them. She wanted to visit the new house they bought.

Robin didn’t want the boys and family over because she told Kody it wasn’t safe, it was scary and “remember how upset you were last time”. Meri offered to invite everyone and that wasn’t safe. Janelle asked Kody if he was coming to the airB&B to see all the kids and he said they would not be going to some “neutral” location when he has a house that is his and Robin’s. They tried to have the gift exchange and Robin came on like a victim saying the younger kids don’t even remember some of their names and they should do it on zoom. Hunter commented that one zoom was not going to fix that and the other’s said it seemed very impersonal. Robin got pissed and cancelled Christmas. Then she went and told her kids that the other family was having Christmas without them and they didn’t want any of them there. She would not invite them, they initially invited them to the B&B, they reached out to her kids to try and get Christmas all together with the exchange, and she shut it down. Then somehow SHE and HER KIDS were voted off The Brown Family Island,according to her. It would be a cold day in hell before I would ever participate in my husband not being with all his children and being the manipulative B turning him against them. Kody is disgusting for allowing this and Robin is vile for what she has done to all the kids. And Robin & Kody… if Christine was so evil, then why do the kids adore her? Maybe because she gave them unconditional love, all her time and energy, and was a safe place for all of them. There is no way they are this stupid. If they are doing everything to block Christmas and alienate all the non-Robin kids then blaming Christine, who the children love and swarm to, then they are doing it to actually not be with them. The “ I wanted to be with my sister wives on a porch” is her way to try and relinquish her own guilt by spinning lies to save face to her kids and the audience. We aren’t buying it and they won’t some day either. All they will have left is butt kissing Mykelti and Tony, who should be ashamed to see all this and support these vile people. ANYONE who subscribes to Tony and Mykelti's Patreon should get off right now, and if they don't, they are complicit in all of this nearly as much as K&R. I think she and Tony are two-timing informants who keep K&R up to date on all that is going on. How does Kody always seem to know that Christine is in town filming, so that he can call and interrupt? The entire show Sister Wives has been making my blood pressure’s go up because of the constant injustices perpetrated on this family by Robyn ….and Kody. I had to stop watching because my health just can’t take watching her vile behavior. Sheer evil!
She keeps saying they were not included, but they were clearly included on the group chat and wanted by the other siblings to do the gift exchange. She blew that up because once again she played the COVID card, a full year after COVID protocols were over. She knows exactly what she is doing. Exactly. Her kids can't believe her. Do they not allow her kids to watch TV?! I feel bad for Aurora, Robyn probably lost her mind when she found out her and Gabe were still seeing each other😬
When you lie about someone to another , the best way to preserve that lie is to keep the two parties apart. One side is hurt and the other side is confused as to what happened. Doesn't that sound like the Browns? The problem is the Biological Brown kids are allowing Robyn and their own father (the I don't what to be around ya' Kody) to be their intermediaries. Why can't Gabe and Gwen invite Breanne and Aurora out to lunch or something and just TALK, not complain or accuse, just TALK?

This is a rant that is totally justified!! Thank you for saying what any of us who aren't sh@# parents are thinking about Kody and Robyn's "parenting" style. I use the term parenting in quotes because what they really do is toxic - victimize, manipulate, and abuse their children to satisfy their own dysfunctional wants - not needs - wants.
Kody showed his real self in this episode especially when he said that he didn’t want his kids anymore .
Robyn is responsible for all of this. I guarantee if she would have stayed off that txt thread everything would have ended up being a good experience for all of them. She doesn't want her kids around all the other kids. Just like she got rid of all the other wives. Now she is getting rid of the kids. Her kids are loved by their other sisters and brothers.
She saw the money and was going to do everything that she could do to destroy Kodys' relationship with all his wives and kids, and he was the other monster that let this happen. Kodys kids are way more intelligent than he is.
This was hard to watch James. The state of Robyn's girls is entirely her fault. She's done this to her kids all along, she did this very thing on Thanksgiving. She completely changed the narrative and made those kids feel totally unwanted.
It always seemed like Robyn wanted the family to conform to her way of doing everything; blend the family like she wanted, do polygamy the way she envisioned it. It was always weird (and unsettling) to me that the Jessop kids weren’t allowed to develop an organic bond with the Brown kids and Kody. Then she also expected the Brown kids to just automatically accept that she and her kids (strangers for all intents and purpose) were now equals. These darn kids were already in a sea of 12 who were vying for attention, then they tossed in 3 more. Whew. That’s more than a child can handle. Top that off with the hinted at, but never explicitly said, that Robyn felt that she and her kids needed/deserved more time because they missed 16 years of this family life. It’s a wonder that these kids even bonded as siblings at all.

The last thing Kody needed was another wife with 3 more kids and than has 2 more! Even the grown kids looked at them like they were nuts.
Kody said multiple times in Vegas that it was important for Kody to spend extra time at Robyn’s because he needed to bond with her kids. But if Robyn, Kody and the kids were bonding together in their house then her kids weren’t bonding with the other kids.

I was so furious over this episode. I felt for Breanna and Aurora, who are obviously hurting. I felt for Garrison, Gabe and Gwen who are so obviously hurting. Kody and Robin are unbelievable. I dislike Kody intensely and hold him and Robin accountable for this whole mess. Kody declares that Christine talks crap to the kids about Kody but I have not seen that. I see HIM talking smack about Christine, the kids and Janelle. What a clueless child he is.
He also had the nerve to suggest Christine has karma coming her way. It's not HER karma I'd be worried about if I were him.
Watching that clip of the daughter's was so disheartening bc you could see aurora mentioning how her brother has always been kind to her and the other one looks at her scared like "you're going off script". Robin and her issues definitely affected her kids negatively. The brown kids seem pretty put together all things considering
Even if it was true that the family hated her kids, I would do everything in the world to hide that from my children. I would make up an excuse to protect my children, and bear that pain alone. Never intentionally would I hurt or let anyone else hurt my children. Their self esteem and worth is suffering from thinking their bio dad didn’t want them and now their other mothers and siblings don’t want them. They gonna feel unlovable, which is sad!

It's my understanding that Robyn's ex husband remarried and had more children with his new wife. If this is true, I wonder if Robyn's three oldest children are aware that they have these biological half siblings. SMH
From my understanding that is the case. However, I would be willing to bet that Robyn has been telling the three of them that "their father didn't want them and replaced them with a new family."

@@karenrnotakarenI don’t know if they know now, but when it first came out about his cancer, Robyn on some platform or another, claimed that she needed to “protect” her children and opted not to tell them because it was “too upsetting”. As painful as it will be for those kids, I truly hope that they learn the truth about their mother (& Kody) so they can have at least a semblance of a functional life.

Kobyn's kids are probably not allowed to watch television or view social media either. The older kids are probably already screwed up, definitely the older girls are. The younger ones, especially the binky baby, will be screwed up, too. Wait until Sobyn hooks another husband and announces to the family how she lost her "gift" twice to the wrong men. I see a lot of therapy bills for the Kobyn kids in their future.

I’m glad someone else is calling it out. I just watched the new episode last night and when one of Robyn’s kids started crying she looked and sounded JUST like Robyn. Does she realize what she’s doing to her children? It’s crazy.
It was honestly so hard because they really were the spitting image of her in those sit downs - and I'm not talking about looks
I actually started laughing when she started crying. I find myself ‘talking’ to the TV when I watch this nonsense. I asked, ‘Is your face even wet?’ That cry looked just like Robyn and I’m like, girl SHUT UP!
Folks complaining about this season lacking content, but to me, it's like an on-going tell-all!! And I'm here for it. Watching Kody and Robyn being held accountable by the adult offspring is both painful (for the kids) and rewarding (take that, narcissists!).
This past episode was the best so far. Very telling but so depressing for the children.

A big part of why Robyn & Kody disgust me so much is because of the damage they've selfishly done to the children in the family and how they've forced the children to take sides.
My son has no idea I have issues with members of my husband's family, because I never speak about adult matters in front of him. When he reaches an age where he decides to ask about it, I'll tell him my issues are for me to carry or put down, and we all love him.
It hurts my heart Robyn couldn't let her kids have the freedom and independence of loving their family and being loved in return. Some day Robyn's kids will learn how she's really been. I hope they're as earnest as they seem. I hope their siblings and the other moms are there for them, even if it's primarily Meri.
But I fear Robyn will use financial abuse/control to keep her older kids towing the line even after they recognize what she's done to them all these years.
I'm not even going to touch Kody's bs covid rules, because it was a very hard time for my family and he's an idiot.
This was disturbing on so many levels, not only is Robyn dragging her kids into her, 'trauma,' she's using them to try to manipulate the audience into siding with her (Robyn s coaching is so obvious I can almost hear her telling them what to say, especially Breanna), but the absolute worst part is she's lying to them about the other kids not liking them. We have heard Garrison, Gabriel, Gwendolyn, Ysabel, and Paedon talk about how much they miss seeing Robyn's kids. In fact they've been quite clear that Robyn and Kody are the ones they have issues with, the gift exchange was supposed to be an opportunity for the siblings to see each other but Robyn was going to make sure it was about her or it wasn't going to happen at all. After this episode, I have to say Robyn's personality is toxic.
WhenJanelle invited those girls over to tour her camper on the property, they went all mean girls on Savannah. Meanwhile Robyn wouldnt let even Meri inside her house
Wouldn't it have been great to see Robyn's kids returned to their FATHER'S custody? Doesn't seem like it would have been a hard case to win.
Considering they are adults now but you think they are kids because of how they act says it all 😢😢. Yes that was a 20 yr old woman getting her ears pierced like a child on TV.

If anything, i tell my child that others do care, when she’s questioning it. I would never hurt her for my benefit by trying to get her on my side saying, nope, they don’t like you or want to be around you. Because I don’t like those people or want them around. She should be ashamed of herself. Her daughter sounded like she took words out of her mothers mouth. I was hurt and confused!!!!!?

When Robyn refused to let her sister wives (mostly Christine) include Robyn's kids in the family childcare arrangement, that's when the chance for sibling bonding died.
They had no opportunity properly integrate and learn to get a long normally because of Robyn's backwards motives. She is too overprotective for this type of family dynamic.

When Breanna started crying, I said “there’s a mini Robyn.” It’s BS. Christine was upset years ago because Robyn didn’t want Christine or the other wives watching her kids.
Christine brought that up on one of the episodes, Robin generally got upset, for being called out and walked out of the episode. Then in Robin's confessional she faked cried as if no one knew what Christine was talkin about. Busted
@@gees5380 When Christine brought it up in Vegas, Robyn said “are you serious right now?” Like Christine was bringing up something stupid. Christine said it was hurtful and Robyn turned it around. I wish someone would force Robyn to answer that in a tell all.

Now we see why, Christine would have allowed the girls to grow up, fall and get back up, speak intelligently and become well-rounded adults so Robyn just couldn't let that happen.

I so agree with you! Even if it were true that the OG kids wanted to ostracize Aurora and Brianna, why would Robyn tell them? If I've learned one thing in my life, it is never trust a "friend" who brings you bad news about you.

who couldn’t imagine her children being their own individuals who would live their own lives, so seeing Robyn’s older kids hobbled like livestock before cruelty laws were drafted really gets my hackles up.

Ive dsaid it before. Robin came into this family viewing the O3 as "The Sisters," viewing herself as "The Wife," and the O13 as wild thugs she had to protect her kids from. She treated the O3 as sisters in-law not sister wives. She has never seen Kody as their husband, too. Her mouth might say it, but her mind doesn't get it. Her mouth says a lot of things, but her actions show who she really is and the real her is not a nuce person to anyone including her self.

I grew up in a family a lot like Kody and Robyn's and it wasn't until I got away to uni that I began to realize how messed up it all was and how much my mother had isolated and emeshed/parentified me because she was so "fragile" and "just couldn't cope".
She hated my slipping her leash 😂 but I loved it (my father didn't GAF about anything that wasn't about him), and I got to see/be around normal/functionalish people and began to build a life for myself. A dad or uncle with his eyes wide open, the wisdom you have, and the courage to call out the lies and misdirection would have saved me a lot of emotional trauma. Even now, you discussing the dysfunction and your rants are helping me so much to see where my world view is still flawed and that I need help messing up and to get my head on (a little) righter. I'm tempted to adopt you as a virtual honorary uncle. You're making a difference to me , and I suspect many others every day. Thank-you
What was stupid was they were a nuclear family. He treated the other partners and kids like second cousins. And no one in reality had a heath condition in the risk category. And the rules were not decided by the parents with equal access to him.
I’ve never met a single person with siblings that hasn’t had arguments. 🤦🏻♀️ Those kids of Robyn’s seem damaged and look kind of drugged or something. It’s hella sad. Robyn and Kody are monsters.
Have you ever noticed how depressed Robyn, Kody and her kids seem? It's clear that they are all very unhappy and just blaming everyone else for their unhappiness. R+K's kids have soaked up every bit of their parents' negativity and anxiety. They've ruined their family and given them psychological problems because they can't look at their own selves and get therapy.
I wonder if they watched the show if they'd even wake-up to their dysfunction? I doubt it, though. It's such a shame. This show should be retitled, "How many kids' psyches can Kody Brown and company f*** up?"

Kids expected Sol who was little not to hit other kids and the older kids or parent whoever saw it first to say no and stop that quiet hands like you do with small kids. Only Garrison did that and Robyn told him off.

They act like we all haven’t watched the real story for the last 18 seasons. Ever since she came into this family, just like you said, she has kept herself and her kids isolated from the rest of the family, and now she’s trying to blame Christine, who did the most to try and mingle those kids, for her kids being isolated from the family. She is the one who told Mykelti to tell the other kids she wasn’t talking to them anymore. She’s the one who has orchestrated every effedup thing that’s happened here, and pulled Kody’s strings, whispering in his ear, making sure he put her and her kids in the highest priority seat ALWAYS. She is a whole lie, and it’s disgusting to watch her ruin her kids self esteem by twisting reality and lying to their faces! I bet she doesn’t let them watch the show, because they’d be able to see what we saw this whole time.
