The Crow is a movie that happened. I was there. Well, not there on set. But there in the theaters. Even then, so many years ago, I recognized how sinful it was.
Next week: Musical sins and animated sins.
Remember, no movie is without sin! Which movie's sins should we expose next?!

@kshiftkometh what? Bruce Lee had no trouble with the mob haha, not the triad or the us mob
There's a metric fuck ton of rumors surrounding him that she total BS
And his death from a clot was shitty but there was no injuries on him whatsoever, nothing on the tox screen
I wouldn't be surprised if the Shaolin wanted to take him out for sharing their secrets, and I'm all about looking at all the facts, only uneducated people think Oswald shot JFK if you actually research how ridiculous that would be
But Brandon's death was an accident too, and a blank that wasn't cleared out properly since they made them from live rounds like dumbasses
The actor who shot him took a year off and had PTSD

@@KaladinVegapunk yep, they were cheap and tried to do it themselves. pulled the projectile out, with the powder, then put the projectile back in. they kept the primer cap in, and when they shot it the projectile slid down the barrel a little. they then put the "blanks" in that had all the powder in them. when it got to that cylinder with the lodged projectile it fired just like a normal round.

I like that CinemSins didn't mention Brandon Lee's death. If he was my loved one and his last movie would be forever known as "That movie where Brandon Lee died", it'd be so sad to me. The reaction to this movie often reminds me of this sensationalized reaction that some people have to a location where an infamous murder happened. Just using death as an entertainment. "Oh duuuude, isssooo creepy...maaan, I got chills!". I think enough time passed and we can just stop watching this movie thinking "Wow, Brandon Lee died in this".

Honestly I'm not even a little ashamed that I used to wear Crow make up as teenager for Halloween it's a good movie with a relatable concept about being able to avenge something that was wrong and unfair caused by people who got away with it. The movie kinda takes an extreme case where a guy and the love of his life were raped and murdered but still it holds water if people think it's pretentious I can only imagine it's because they're hung up on the poetic imagery and make up and aren't actually relating to what the character went through.
