Gomez: "Look at her. I would die for her. I would kill for her. Either way, what bliss."
One of the most memorable quotes of the movie.
Alex Cooper also “last night you became unhinged, you were like some howling desperate demon. You frightened me.... do it again...”
Isabella Rocha Kinky?
I like "Thank you, Lurch." Best line, imo.
that and, "are they made with real girlscouts?"
It actually shows their speech patterns very well. Shows that they're still human, have things like love and desire to do things for each other, but also have their desires to cause and feel pain.
I could see Wednesday being polite as an act of rebellion
But that was not the movies intentions.
Or maybe to be impolite towards their butler
@@lauragueorguieva exactly my point it's the typical rich kid being rude to the help stereotype this movie is deeper then I thought😄
@George Corbul easy she's a goth version of the modern Karen
@George Corbul she's not a specific person it's more of a personality just a bitch that would probably ask to speak to your manager
Dark and morbid as they can be, Gomez and Morticia Addams are still a far better example of couples goals than Joker and Harley Quinn.
Madame Fluffy any couple is better than them but honestly I think Gomez and Morticia Addams are the epitome of goals. No one else can compare
Agreed. I want a love like theirs. Gomez loves Morticia just as much as she loves him.
Also amazing parents
Or Donald and Melania!
They are the best kinda of relationship
Gomez worships the ground morticia walks into, but also gives her space and understands the she’s an individual
Sadomasochists and extreme sadists they might be, but Jesus, they’re the perfect relationship
“She’s at that special age where there’s only one thing on her mind”
“Boys”
“Homicide”
It becomes the same thing once she experiences jealousy.
That's in the second movie
Yep, I remember that age.
YMW melly intensifies
Ah yes, I remember when puberty sparked within me a murderous rage
"Everything wrong with the Addams family"
I'm pretty sure that's just their thing...
Everything Normal would be the right title
I know that's right. lol
I'm adding a sin to Cinema Sins for not understanding the source material.
You're welcome for this comment
“Everything Wrong With The Addams Family”
Welp, soon there will be a second video with the same title, but instead will be on the brand new animation.
The actor casting in this movie and their character portrayals was pretty much pitch perfect.
This movie is how I will forever remember Raul Julia. His best performance ever. I refuse to remember him as his last performance, M. Bison.
@@samuelvincent557 I remember Raul Julia for his excellent performance in "Kiss of the Spider Woman"
@@samuelvincent557 What? The man was dying and still put on a top class performance in a cheesy video game movie filled with otherwise bad acting, it may not have been his best acting ever but he did it while in serious pain and near death, to act and not show any signs of that really does make it his best performance ever.
Everything else, however, terrible.
My buddies and I went to see this movie when it came out and leaving the film, we all agreed that Christina Ricci's performance was the best part of it. She was just so _creepy_ with those eyes.... =)
"Everything wrong with the Addams family"
1. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
The Addams are quite possibly the most healthy family to appear on television.
They like the opposite though so why do you rob them of happiness?
Agreed.. it was almost exhausting watching him trying to pull apart the "logic" of them. He really missed the dark comedy of it, like every 2 minutes he is like "Wait so if that means ___ that means ___? Thats makes no sense." Ugh 🤦♀️
or ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING (as the Familly ADDAMS would prefere) hehe♫
@@julianathejaded7051 people need to understand that this is a COMEDY channel. It's fairly obvious that a lot of the "nitpicking" going on in these videos is hyperbolic and not to be taken seriously. He does make good observant points in some of these "reviews," but most of the time they are ignored in favor of the entertainment the film provides.
Movies aren't meant to be taken so serious, and neither are these types of videos, or even critiques in general. It's unfortunate that this isn't realized by so many who get easily offended because someone picked apart a movie they like, so they dislike the video and write a comment expressing their disapproval. It shows their unfamiliarity with different styles of comedy and differing opinions. The worst ones are the people who try to censor/ban everything they disagree with. I pity them.
This is why comedy and satire isn't nearly as clever as it used to be. Writer's are too afraid of offending audiences and being labeled "racist," or one of the many other "ist's." It's a sad generation right now.
"Absolutely zero people are freaked out by a disembodied hand carrying a wagon"
Shows footage of people being scared and recoiling from the disembodied hand pulling a wagon
I think he meant that there'd be more reaction than just simply moving out the way.
Joan Cussack: I gonna suck the fingers on thaf hand!

@@multifandombish1855 I'm gay but that was hawt when she did that.
Because The Addams Family are "opposites" to normal humans, that means they would be happy if their movie got lots of sins, right?
Or because Cinemasins is opposite to logic and insightful criticism, nobody would care at all about how many sins their movie gets.
I mean, in the cartoon and the sitcom it was considered a good thing when the kids flunked and Wednesday got upset when she got an A in school.
SunnysFilms I can imagine wendsday studying to make sure she completely fails

Animated Movie Version: *sweats*
First sin: this movie EXISTS
Which movie?
@@RealMikeWazowski I think he means the one coming out Friday. I haven't been exactly wowed by the trailers.
Animated Movie Version: *chuckles* I'm in danger.
Lmao actually
"Don't torture yourself, Gomez. That's my job." Love love love this movie! Total classic that is quoted often in my home!
You are legends.
Wednesday is nice to Lurch because he is "the help" , when you think about how they are the opposite of families at the time and a lot of people treat butlers and maids like shit and family with politeness, it makes sense
also commentary how people we think are strange are nicer than “normal” people
Exactly
Yeah, it does make sense, a lot of people are dicks to their maids and butlers, so Wednesday being nice is like a call-out. And I also find it both extremely funny and extremely sad that the Addams are supposed to be the exact opposite of a "normal" family, and that includes a husband is so deeply in love with his wife that he would kill someone for her, and a wife that doesn't resent and absolutely loves her husband.
Huh.
The best joke was when Morticia was going through the closet and found a bunch of wardrobe bags. "Uncle Knick Knack winter wardrobe. Uncle Knick Knack summer wardrobe. Uncle Knick Knack." Rofl.
Was he still alive? When they took him out you could hear a breathe. Or just a sound affect to show that it is a body lol
@@IAMASlave4dem say he is some kinda vampire creature. We know they're related to weird things like Cousin It. Uncle knick knack figures it's a good idea to keep his wardrobe handy
That best joke about uncle Knicknack comes from one of an original drawing sheet by Chas Addams.
There's also the rather grim thought that his 'wardrobes' look to be body-bags themselves.
The jokes in this movie were to die for
I've seen this movie dozens upon dozens of times and NEVER knew that was the director in that model train. I'm sure its probably common knowledge by now but either way this news made my day.
@CinemaSins! Do Fred Clause next!!
Barry Sonnenfield cameos in every film he directs i think
@@MrGabeanatori gotta look into that cuz thats pretty cool info.
@@MrGabeanator on a quick search he has cameoed in 2 or 3 of his bigger hits.
MrGabeanator yeah him and/or his family members. Not sure about MIB but in MIB 2 his daughter Chloe is the little girl at the post office, he himself is the man in the apartment with his family in whose home has a hidden cache of alien weapons, and in MIB 3 Chloe is the flower power girl at Coney Island. There could be other family cameos I’ve forgotten or missed in those movies.

Now do everything wrong with Addams Family Values. That Thanksgiving play is still one of the most insane scenes I've ever seen in a movie.
G-Unit1111 YES
It's probably coming on Thursday.
That scene proved to me that Christina Ricci was bred in a test tube for the express purpose of playing Wednesday Addams.
They named their kid Pubert. FUCKING PUBERT.
My favorite movieeeee
When Gomez says "I would kill for her" i always get the feeling that he definitely has
I know it feels like he has killed someone for her before
aquitted!
ACQUITTED!!
Over and over again. Until she's satisfied.
This is mentioned in the second movie. He has. Multiple times.
"how does not fester know the mamushka?!"
"so he was fester all along? they never hinted this at all!"
good logic cineman sins as usual.
I was thinking the exact same thing. The whole point of the Mamushka scene was to reveal that he knew the dance mysteriously!
R u serious? They mentioned it at the end! Wednesday begged the producers to have him explained
I honestly thought he was being sarcastic at first when he said the movie never hinted at the "it was really Fester all along!" revelation. Then I realised he was actually serious. Oh well. This is what happens when morons try to outsmart other morons, right?
But also in the scene (that cinema sins shows) where 'fester' knows which poison to pick, also the part where they bond over the disgusting book about battle scars and scabs. These are all hints that he is an Addams!
"Cineman Sins" DING
"Can't they give Lurch a bigger room?"
Dat's the joke.
I read “Dad, that’s the joke.”

Just because they're morbid and different- doesn't mean they have no manners!
@@brandongodard6336 You would have manners to a nearly 7 foot tall Frankenstein's monster butler.
@@brandongodard6336 no they have manners just no sense of what other "normal" people find socially acceptable. they speak politely and are generally very kind people, just a bit batty.
@@arachnesakura9375 Sooo, in their kind of politness, you say "Thank you" but not "Please"?
@@wjzav1971 I think the joke might have been that she is not normally rude, she's polite and needs to be taught to be rude, the opposite of kids who are inadvertently rude and need to be taught politeness. It doesn't make sense logically but I think that's the internal logic. Definitely still sin worthy.
And you could reason that Wednesday is little and still learning and her thanking Lurch is the equivalent of heading out the door without thanking him. Her mom did correct her manners later, after all.
The only thing wrong with the Addams Family is that it’s getting an animated version
The Addams family started out as Cartoons. But yes they made the cartoon too kiddie like
@@ReplyGuy22345 Not to mention they'll cram ten thousand pop culture references into it, and have the kids talking like the younger generations do.
@@PersephoneDaSilva They only used modern slang once iirc, but theres a heck of a lot of fellow kids. Better than most children's animated films, but that fact is sad.
But It started as a cartoon ...I don’t see the problem
Fait enough,
“How does he know this dance?”
“He was fester all along. A detail the movie hasn’t even hinted at”
Um... yes they did 😂😂😂
ExACTly!! He missed that completely. 🙄
But that revelation was actually tacked on at the last minute It’s a well-known fact that he wasn’t originally actually supposed to be fester. but, a supposed unknown double Who later was supposed to replace/become new fester basically.
Even when I was a kid I realized that fester knowing the babushka was a hint that he was the real fester.
Humboldt HipNeck mamuska *
How did I never realise that Kate Bush was really an Addams?! It makes so much sense!! ;)
Also they give it away in the séance scene. Grandmama said "Fester approaches" right as they showed up. The timing is a joke if it isn't Fester, but is blatant foreshadowing since he is.
Doesn’t babushka mean grandma or something?
"We gladly feast on those who would subdue us." is the coolest family crest line I've ever heard.
Angelic and Raul had some of the best chemistry I've still ever seen in a movie. Although "I want a love like Mortica and Gomez" is overrated but man, lowkey husband/wife/parents goals.
The best joke in the Addams Family: The family that is supposed to be the complete opposite of the stereotypical suburban family genuinely loves each other.
I'm starting to think our family motto is: "If it doesn't work the first time, get a bigger hammer."
expect its suppose to be taken seriously the Addams do indeed feed on flesh Lol
CinemaSins: Everything Wrong With The Addams Family.
Me: HAS THE WORLD GONE MAD?!?!
I understood that referece.
"How exactly does a hand get an interview..?"
"Ohhhhhhh"
Best cinema sins moment ever.
CinemaSins: "How does Not Fester know this dance?"
CinemaSins, later in the same video: "He was Fester all along, and this is a possibility the movie hasn't even HINTED at until the last 2 minutes."
Give yourselves two sins for that.
Agreed! There were definitely hints, not only the Mamushka, but things such as him knowing just what to do for the kids' play. He may not have been consciously aware of it, but that's how he knew things he wouldn't have if he wasn't really Fester.
Nah, let's double it. 4 sins! 2 for the sins themselves and 2 more for completely missing the extremely heavy-handed foreshadowing that "YES! THIS IS FESTER! FOR REALSIES!"
Not only could it be from his subconscious but also muscle memory as well which is not that hard to put two and two together.

@gottfer... you must be new here.
@gottfer I'd like to add that Cinemasins usually keep their videos self contained, meaning they don't usually use outside material or the source material for their sins. They do reference the series in this one. The sin here is that the film is based more on the original newspaper cartoons than the tv series.
This is what has always confused me lol so all along he has been the real Fester?
@gottfer... You're criticising contradictions and inconsistencies in a CinemaSins video and that he "missed the entire point of this movie", dude.
Have you watched literally ANY of the previous CS videos?
It's what he does. There's no logic behind it, it's just for shits and giggles.
If you're going to offer critique at least come in with a basic understanding of what it is you're critiquing
I absolutely loved this movie. The actors portrayed their characters so perfectly. Any time someone mentions The Addams Family, THIS is the one I think of, even though I grew up watching the old TV show.
I love how he sins Fester instinctively knowing the Mamushka and then sins that there was no earlier hint that Fester really was Fester ^^;

1:44 No joke, my favorite scene. They cut short here, but when Morticia says "You frightened me" there is legit look on Gomez's face that shows he's worried he actually did go too far and is ready to never repeat it only to be reassured it's all good.
I love this movie for acting like that. Remember it would air after midnight on like new year's eve once or twice cause of all the "blood".
Gomez and Morticia are the best cinematic couple ever. They're passionately in love, respect each other, want to please each other, and make no secret out of being crazy attracted to each other while also being very family-focused and supportive of their kids.
If it is after midnight wouldn't it be the New Year already

There playing William Tell , the cries for help are actually in character.
William tell?
To be precise, he was a crossbowman, not an archer. And after he shot the apple of his sons head, he gets arrested because he had a second bolt ready which he wanted to shot Gessler with, if he had hit his son. Gessler is an evil, Habsburgian duke and main villain, responsible for Tell having to shot the apple of his sons head. He also suppresses the population. Anyways, Tell get's away, ambushes Gessler and shots him with a bolt. Now that the tyrant is dead, the people rise and throw the Habsburger (former Austrians) out of their land and found Switzerland. The End.
In the original play by Schiller the son Walter actually encouraged the father to shoot the apple from his head by a crossbow by saying "Fresh, father, show that you are a shooter" (I only read the play in German)
@@04279 Wait...they use the word "fresh" in that context in German? I really want to adapt the lyrics of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme song to William Tell now...
@@roguishpaladin The original line is "Frisch, Vater, zeig, dass du ein Schütze bist". So go ahead.
Fester knew the dance because his memory was beginning to come back at that point.
That would be an interesting question though. Would someone with amnesia forget something like the waltz?
What is iconic is that Fester lost his memories but his heart was still true to the Addams family and their traditions.
billyjoejimbob75 Well, this has been researched.
People with retrograde amnesia have forgotten skills, but it’s not very likely to happen. They’ll most likely retain all their skills and simply forget facts.
A retrograde amnesiac might not remember who he is or whether or not he has driven a car, but put him behind the wheel and he’ll know how to drive.
Anterograde amnesia is even more fascinating. While the amnesiac is unable to create new memories they have been shown to develop new skills.
Make an amnesiac solve the same puzzle everyday and she’ll solve it quicker and quicker despite not remembering ever seeing it before. Teach her a dance and then try to dance with her and her feet will know the steps.
Poor lurch looks so saddened by the trick or treaters screaming and running away. The man just wants friends.

Hey, Morticia doesn't believe he brought the cyanide "just in case": this whole scene is when she starts suspecting him. Also you criticized the Mamushka scene by saying Fester can't know it, yet you also say that him being the real Fester comes out of nowhere. He clearly has his original upbringing and tendencies in him and he ends up remembering the dance in that moment, which is a hint that he's the real Fester. Those 2 "sins" cancel each other out.
A more accurate sin would have been: why does Gomez start to dance the Mamushka, assuming Fester would know it, when he knows his brother didn't remember a lot of things from their past?
The comment about the Mamushka scene is the fact that it's well-known in the original draft of the script he wasn't supposed to be faster actually it wasn't until later that they made him faster
@@Doctor_Odin not well known to me. And if that would have been a plot hole, they obviously fixed it by saying he was Fester that whole time. And only the end result counts with Cinema Sins.
Let's not forget all the things Fester does to help the kids prepare their play! How excited he got when he saw them fighting and telling how they should do it! Them reading about scabs together! If that isn't evidence that he retains some memories, I don't know what is!
@@Ganychan alrighty then just figured I'd clarify.
You guys know it's a joke right like I get it but it's just a joke
Honey, you didn't comprehend the movie right. Hey, aren't you the one who suggested the Careers from Hunger Games burn down Katniss's tree, saying trees are flammable but completely ignoring the fact that burning the tree would also set the whole forest on fire? Thereby destroying a source of food and shelter, as well a possibly polluting a lot of water sources with ash? But this isn't the list for that. I'm making a list. 'Everything Wrong with the 'Everything Wrong With The Addams Family 1991' List." The tally that is being addressed is in parenthesis at the end.
1. Lurch can get hit by a 20-pound cannon ball and keep watering the plants. I'm pretty sure he'd not entirely human. And Granny is wearing gloves. (6) And yeah, the siblings regularly try to maim each other. (7)
2. No disrespecting Thing. (10)
3. It's possible they were reenacting something, so Pugsley was told to call for help. Those cries for help sounded fake. (11)
4. Do not disrespect Morticia Addams. (13)
5. The Addams family happy/unhappy-good/bad concepts are complicated, but it is far from a game of opposite. Morbidity is encouraged. (14)
6. They like unconventional sex. Morticia has a pain kink. too. So that'll address the Sin you count for the later scenes in the movie. (16)
7. Be polite to the butler. If he is just as morbid as you. They don't scorn their parents, either. That lunch is moving. That deserves a thanks. (17)
8. Gate lets you in. It just doesn't like Tully. Gate isn't inherently asocial. (21)
9. Villains are always morally twisted. Moral math, they never went to the school. (22)
10. Maybe the bear carpet is new. (23)
11. Thing moves around to help the family. A lot. Opening doors. Putting long potential weapons back. Saving lives. (26)
12. He can't do math. Or course he doesn't know which book to pull. And they live with a sentient disembodied hand. Of course the books hate Tully. (29)
13. That special relationship is boss/enforcer. (32)
14. Paintings. Ugh, I know. Anna of Cleaves got divorced for her not looking like her painting. It's almost like the artist doesn't always depict they accurately. Now Tully might have met Fester several years prior. Twenty-five, to be exact. (33)
15. Gordon-Fester clearly likes to eat. He's fat. (35)
16. Wednesday tells Pugsley to not kill her. The idea is to murder the other sibling...or come close to it. (36)
17. I'm sure everyone's eager to see Fester, too. (37)
18. It doubles the merit to show up during the seance. And they're not morons. Just very generous and honest. (38)
19. Of course Morticia thinks Fester in concerned about the amount of cyanide in the household. It's literal. Like bringing a lady her favorite perfume when you visit as a gift, though she would never run out of said perfume. (39)
20. Nonono. Wednesday and Pugsley have lived together for at least ten years, yet they haven't exhausted ways to try to kill each other. (40)
21. Lurch was Addams enough. Fester-Gordon-Fester isn't acting like a proper Addams. Wednesday suspects him, you know. (41)
22. Pubert was born with a mustache. Eleven toes is nothing. (40b)
23. 1 sin is enough. (72)
24. Intruder Ejection while also serving as escape routes. I'm sure there's an entire tunnel network. (73)
25. Oh, they all died morbid deaths. You can even listen to Morticia telling Fester about them a minute or so earlier. (75)
26. Nono, not know which chain to pull counts as not being able to find it. Knowing where something is doesn't mean you found it. Money's in the vault. Yes, where' the vault? (76)
27. Morticia allows her children to murder/escape from one another. The Addamses fear not death. They always manage to get out of it by luck. Addams subtle magic, I supposed. (77)
28. Gate's just out of the shot. For aesthetic purposes. (79)
29. A person accused of witchery isn't going to count as a hero to normal people. (80)
30. People are uncultured sometimes (83).
31: They're only keeping her prisoner, not eating her. And she can't exactly flail around in panic. She'd been there a while. Calmed down. (84)
32. She was asking about progress. A simple plan requires but a simple thwartation. (87)
33. Chutes all around house, yes. And the chutes are for escape and eviction. Or gothic feel. Didn't you notice the atmosphere of the movie? (88)
34. Morticia and Gomez are at the party.Busy with guests. And she'd being chased. (89)
35. It was cut. Would you rather we waste a few minutes waiting for Fester in the graveyard? (90)
36. He is an amnesiac. His memory is being jogged by being back home. (93).
37. Gomex refers to Pubert as Evil, Lurch as Horror, and his other kids as the unholy maggots that feast on the dark recesses of the human soul. Yes, the car is the bottomless pit. (107)
38. He doesn't need cops to get rid of people who aren't there. (109)
39. Judges get away with shit all the time. Seriously. Rape cases are notoriously infamous for this reason. (110)
40. It's clearly a secret code newpaper. Spies. (116).
41. Are you watching the screen? If that's not freaked out, then you must live with the Addams themselves. (117)
42. Written applications. A visit from a corporeal Addams. The interviewer never knows. (118)
43. Be extra. (124)
44. It's sentient and disembodied. You're wondering about the nails? Probs Morticia or Lurch takes care of it. (125)
45. Full translation: Morticia in danger of dying apart from Gomez. That is their ultimate dream, you know. And Gomez isn't the one torturing her, so it's not consensual. (126)
46. Different torture methods. They figured out the rack didn't work after a while. (127)
47. We covered this. Consent. Goths. Who are ten times better than that horror you mentioned. (128)
48. Defense mechanisms for the idiot who tries to steal their gold but curiously opens the book. Idiotically. (129)
49. They're kids, too. He's missing an eyes, BTW. That's kinda hard to fake. (133)
50. For a family of seance-holding, sibling almost murdering, rich, cyanide-drinking, surprisingly functional family with a homicidal daughter, it is very much fun. (134)
I'm pretty sure Pugsly was born for them to eat later. Remember the line from the kids play?
Mom: "Oh I could just EAT you alive."
Morticia: "No, no, too young!"
That would explain why they allow Wednesday more death risk games with her brother.
I mean the whole point is that despite being weird and “opposite” they’re actually a pretty healthy family in a sense. That’s what I’ve always liked about the Adams. But yes, a lot of odd phrases here were definitely just put in for comedy’s sake but it works.
The part of not-Fester only being hinted to be Fester in the last two minutes is bullshit tho. You can literally guess it from the moment you see him, being identical to him (for those crazy theorists out there), but if not that then the way he easily picks up Fester’s mannerisms despite himself bc of being in his old home with his old family. And also the whole mamushka was the biggest hint, yet you sinned that at well...
agree, despite being "weird and morbid", they are a perfect family to wish for... I mean, wife and husband still love each other with such passion, kids want to kill each other but never realy get hurt and the whole family just holds together with perfect understanding for each member... they are amazing. And Angelica is just wonderfull in there
Yes
Funny that you would say that given the original intent of the comics ! I agree with you though it's kind of ironic. (I invite you to Google it if you don't know, it's interesting :) )
When I watched it I didn't pick up on any of that so I was confused
'Releasing a sins video before a related sequel comes out in theaters' cliche
*DING*
R. I. P. Raul Julia. 💕 His performance as Gomez Addams felt like the dad I never had and always needed.
Who else was giving sins to cinemasins for every sin that they gave The Addams Family in this video
Humour.
Some endeavors require having at least a bit of it.
Good thing youtube is serious business and not just entertainment.
Nope Pugsley is a masochist and Wednesday is a sadist. That's what makes their sibling relationship so special.,
Grim Soul oh dear, that’s an Alabama

@@lordfarquaad380 that prase is annoying, to be honest.
I just love how the bad guy ended up having his wife leave him for cousin it.
I love how their son just disappears. :D
But they gained baby what
He and the mom were thrown out the window into caskets, at which point they were buried (no one cared if they were alive).
So... no so much she left him as she was his surviving widow?
Josh Hendrickson the woman who was thrown in the coffin was the woman pretending to be festers mother not the guys wife

CinemaSins: "Oh look, it's the girl who played Misty in-"
Me: "OMG, HARMONY!!!!"
I HAD THE REVERSE REACTION! I didn't watch Angel or Buffy until YEEEEEEARS later. So the first time I saw Harmony I was like "Addams Family girl scout!!"
@@dresdenwarlock7978 LOL!!!!
I was thinking Harmony too.
This movie and The Mummy I've watched at least 20 times each. They were my childhood movies to watch at grandmas.
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with this masterpiece of a family.
FACT!!!
AMEN!
Well that is why it gets unending happiness
@Maori Boy I liked the camp one. dont hate me haha
@@Killatomate85 So is the actual Addams family from the cartoon strip. Your point?
"Everything Wrong With The Addams Family" ?... How dare you CinemaSins! How dare you!
lol i see what you did there
Dude. I was legit like this when I saw the notif. XD
They didn't even write about it in the description. Maybe they already feel guilty.
He has a deal with the devil! Destroy all childhood!!!
DISGUSTING!!!
CinemaSins: "Everything Wrong With The Addams Family 1991"
Me: "Who cares? I still love it!" :)
This is a personal tradition in my house. I watch this every Halloween and Christmas!! It’s a masterpiece!

CinemaSins is dead in eyes.
I damn near had a brain aneurysm when narrator man gave that ball sack description of the tombstone, I laughed so hard...
*Morticia* Gomez there are sins in our movie
*Gomez* Then our job is done Cara Mia!
Fun fact:
Electrocuted comes from the words electric, and executed. Meaning death by electricity. If somebody survives, they were only shocked.
Hey man, this is literally what I have to post and tell people all the time. I appreciate a fellow word nerd.
Fun fact: my current boss was actually electrocuted, but he got resuscitated.
Hehe I said current... sorry, I’m done.
I will be adding this to my ever expanding vault of useless trivia. Thank you for that.
People dying is almost never a fun fact
"Tis but a scratch"
Is that so? I’ve actually always wondered about that
No lie, I strive to have a household as loving and awesome as the Addams'.
Indeed
They're actually an inspiration in this household. We love them, and we are raising our daughter very much like Wednesday, with the same support and pride in her being herself and embracing being different and weird without shame. I think more families and relationships would be better of more people at least made an attempt at being like them.
Fun thing to look up sometime... The Addams Family is actually semi-autobiographical. The cartoonist who first created it was married to a model, and they both had a love for macabre things. They even held their wedding in a pet cemetery. Pretty much the biggest diversion from reality wasn’t the crazy hijinx, wealth, or weird settings, it was the kids, as the cartoonist and wife were actually childless (except for all their fur babies)
7:05 CinemaSins: *takes off sin for good director cameo*
Also CinemaSins: *sins every Stan Lee cameo*
I’m sad that my favourite line wasn’t included....
“Are they dead?”
*”Does it matter???”*
*Is it better?*
I love the line exchange where Wednesday asked the Girl Scout if her cookies are made with real Girl Scouts.
That's the "problem" with including any of her lines in this movie and the next. They'd have to remove so many sins it'd go into the negatives! :D
@@mmeers89 Yes! I was a Girl Scout at the time this movie came out and had my own elaborate comeback about Girl Scout cookies being made from scouts who...didn't make the cut... :)
“THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA IS THERE IN SIDE MY MIND” I died laughing 😂 omg
Man, that sad face lurch gave in the end just made me sad, he was so happy to see the kids 😢
🤣🤣🤣 "You frightened me... Do it again" part always kills meee
I remember watching this film and empire strikes back close together when I was a kid, I always thought about Thing being Luke’s hand 🖐
🤣 👍
In the beginning of the video: “We don’t need to see the Thing walking around, that’s the mystery!”
Two minutes later: How did the Thing get there?! This is an *inconsistency*
CinemaSins: 1 sin because they waited until 2019 to do this
Me: 1 sin for not viewing it until 2020
Still a classic after 3 decades

I always figured Fester knew the dance because of muscle memory or that he was beginning to remember certain things as he is the real Fester and somewhere in his mind he knows the dance. Also, I now want Tombstone pizza
It sounds more like Pugsly is saying “don’t miss”
cuz thatss what he says Lol
that lurch scene where they run away got me 😞 he looked so happy to see them
I feel like lately, Jeremy is playing „How far can I go before the community rips off my head“
It's not his fault the community is nothing but a toxic waste a brain cells.
2:00 the Addam's are not opposite
their creepy and they're kooky mysterious and spooky
5:41 be honest, would you be rude to Lurch?
The new movie is full of sins, sins and more sins. This is so much better.
Old me "I don't know what people are complaining about, sinning all movies is expected here."
Today me "You stop this madness right now."
But, exactly ♥️! Some things are just precious.
I like how he says the movie didn’t hint at him really being fester but also gave the movie a sin for fester knowing things he shouldn’t cause he’s “not fester” (which is the movie hinting at it lmao)
Edit: dang 101 likes overnight. Wow thanks guys
Ya. The babushka scene was for us to know for sure
i had this movie on a VHS tape and damn i miss those things
edit: forgot to add that when Morticia was on the rack it's the reason BDSM is so popular
