- Well, if you could take back watching a movie, this video might not exist. Safe to say we here at CS headquarters did NOT enjoy this film, and found a great number of sins. Feel our pain by watching them.

I remember seeing this when I was 8 or 9 and leaving the theatre thinking that I just saw the greatest movie of all time
I never watched it when it came out in theatres, but I was hooked to the tv whenever it came on.
@@ArthurBoi I remember seeing it being played on TV thought it was one of greatest movies as a kid. Rewatching it now that I'm older I can see some flaws and got some complaints but I'm still in love with the film either way despite that.

I would personally sin the fact that Blackheart knew that his only adversary's strongest power relied on his enemy having a soul, which he didn't, and yet his big plan was to fill himself with souls. He could have pieced this together at any point in time.
Blackheart absorbing the souls of 1000 people gave him the weakness that ghost rider could defeat him

Actually just read an article talking about nick cages abs and they were real and not cgi!! He worked hard and then fasted for 24 hours so his abs would pop!!
I heard he also was really able to set himself on fire, saved some budget on CGI. That would be cool if he could really do that.

My Cinema Sins wish list: Scream series, The Maze Runner, TMNT (2014), Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters, Need for Speed.
Totally agree with Maze Runner and PJ. As for the others... I couldn't care less, I haven't seen them.
Sea of Monsters itself was a good movie, but the concept makes me hate everything about it. They did books 2 and 5. NOTHING ELSE! They skipped 3 and 4, which had scenes that would be AMAZING IN MOVIES, and even fucked up book 5. They could at least keep the massive war from book 5.
I know. When I watched it and saw Kronos rise, I was like:
"Well, I'm going to go crawl under my bed and die."
Seriously (and this goes for the first and second movie), if they had strictly followed the book... the movies would've been SO much better. They had a freaking script and plot right in front of them, and they somehow f*cked it up.
Zenchant14 Games All I said when Kronos appeared was, "WHAT THE FUCK?!" They completely ruined all the amazing possibilities they had.
IKR. Now if they make it to the Last Olympian movie (which I doubt), Kronos' arrival inside of Luke won't be half as exciting, since we've already seen him in his fiery form.

It's an old cinematic rule that you only use narration when it adds to the artistry of the film, such as in "The Big Lebowski" or "Kill Bill". He "sins" all narration that is used to tell parts of the story that could have been filmed, because it's considered lazy

Steel Dark Did I compare them? I think the second one had not the cheesy charm of the first. I still watched it and wasn't hating myself afterwards for doing so.
At least something good came out of this film. It sucked so bad and the sequel was so atrocious that the rights have reverted back to Marvel. So in a few years we may actually get a good Ghost Rider film.

This movie may not have been great, but it's a masterpiece compared to the sequel/remake.

Everything else, from the scenes of his deal to the way Ghost Rider himself is depicted, is completely different from the first movie. It might as well be a completely separate film for how little it has in common with the first one.
I think most people forget the second is a soft reboot, not a full reboot, and not a sequel.

Indeed. We cut this sin because we decided the stupid horse ghost rider in the beginning flashback counted as a "ghost rider appearing in a film called ghost rider." But obviously we only cut 99% of that sin... for some reason.
Also, even though the sin was cut, the sin point from that sin was still added to the sin counter.

One thing about that movie was that who and how did somebody get such an idea? Sharks in a tornado? That movie even defies the laws of logic and common sense! Example: sharks need water and must swim non-stop under water to stay alive, even small grains of water isn't enough for oxygen, if they followed that rule of life, the movie would've been called Deadsharknado (a tornado full of dead sharks) still cheesy but at least follows the laws of nature. But meh....still is a bad movie.

Well, I started watching the sequel and the first time in my life I just couldn't finish watching a movie because it was too bad. I watched quite a few bad movies and I could enjoy many of them, because they were bad enough to be funny, but that movie was just horrible...
I'm gonna give it a try somewhere in the near future, hoping it could beat up DBZ Evolution in worst shit ever department.
this movie didnt suck it was the sequel that sucked horribly. and the sequel was made by these guys from Marvel Knights no Marvel Studios. But this one was made by Marvel Studios so hopefully they make a better sequel

I think that, rather than the Ghost Riders only having a certain number of transformations like you said, they only have enough power to transform a certain number of times, with the power they have to transform going down over the years. So since Slade was around 180 (assuming he was 30 when he turned against Mephisto) he only had enough of the Ghost Rider's power left after the 150 years to change one more time.

It's the only redeeming quality. The animation for Ghostie was killer, was always amused when he was ACTUALLY ON SCREEN (barely 10 minutes of the movie) cause he looked so badass I could ignore the shitty plot.
I always thought ghost rider was more badass than hulk. Hulk is a green-ass brute with indestructible pants.
Ghost rider is similar with the need to conquer their power, yet ghost rider beats the devil. He also rides a motorcycle while on fire. And half skeleton.
