nick rodgers yes...they do. regardless of how people feel about the ghost Rider movie: the original ghost Rider, Carter Slade specifically stated that he could only transform one last time (after using his final transformation to lead Johnny blaze to the place where he faced off against Mephisto)

Apparently, Johnny did not possess the Penance Stare at first nor fire chains. Those powers originated from Danny's incarnation and writers only later gave them to Johnny.
The following has been said by one of the writers, but damned if I remember which: "If Ghost Rider were to use the Penance Stare on a drug dealer, it would make said dealer want to go home and rethink his life. If the Rider were to use it on a serial killer, said killer would be put into a lifelong coma."

"You don't want to sell me death sticks." - "I don't want to sell you death sticks." "You want to go home and rethink your life." - "I want to go home and rethink my life."
I really prefer Reyes' backstory as presented in Agents of Shield rather than the comics. In the show he is approached by another Ghost Rider and offered a deal in which he becomes the host of a Spirit of Vengeance in order to get revenge on the gang that paralyzed his brother.
I feel we don’t see enough of ghost rider in marvel culture such as movies tv shows other than AOS even mentions in films , such a badass underrated character that’s just my opinion though
Eh, more like mimics the Ghost Rider's powers. The Uncle's spirit isn't a Rider spirit per say. However he is able to mimic the Ghost Rider's abilities which in turn allows Robbie to use them.
jckspacy oh I don't really like that but I don't really know anything about the comics the only spirit I really know about is the one that was a angel and I know very little about that one
Carter Phillips Yeah the Angel is Zarathos, the one that possesses Johnny Blaze. In the Heavens on Fire story arc they reveal that only God can create "true" riders & only he can destroy them.
@Ban this youtube Lmao and the other riders aren't? Makes deal with the devil, possessed by a corrupted spirit, hunts and kills demons and criminals, always monologuing about punishment, vengeance, and Hell, has a flaming skull, rides a motorcycle, and only ever wears leather with chains and spikes. The entire premise of ghost rider is an edgelord's wet dream, that's just the character.
And these canibalastic creatures Danny Ketch fought also didn't feel regret, and it still worked, so Punisher should have been whimpering like a child because of it.
Also one of Ghost Rider's powers: the ability to "infect" anything he touches with hellfire and can turn any vehicle into a variation of his bike. He demonstrated this ability in the Punisher/Wolverine/Ghost Rider book when he was separated from his bike and turned another bike that he found into a hellcycle.
He didn't mention that "true" Ghost Riders like Blaze are in fact Angels not Demons. This is proven in the "Heavens On Fire" story arc. The writer describes them as "heavens black ops unit". And in the story it is revealed that only God can create a "true" Rider and only God can destroy one
I kinda like the idea of different Ghost Riders taking different "vehicles" depending on their time period. Imagine an ancient Egyptian Ghost Rider riding a flaming war chariot. Or a futuristic Ghost Rider on a hoverboard. That one actually sounds kinda funny.
Danny Ketch for me. The one I remember the most, and I find a lot in the Danny Ketch series inspired a lot of the Ghost Rider character in general. (If you ignore the fact Blaze was the first, just saying Ketch fleshes the character out a bit more)
Carter Slade was the second Ghost Rider. The first was federal marshal Rex Fury, who appeared in ME (Magazine Enterprise) comics from 1949 until 1954. He first appeared as a backup feature in Tim Holt comics, issue # 11, after spending the previous five issues as “The Calico Kid”. He proved to be so popular, that he got his own title in 1950. Most of the stories were of a horror nature, so he fell victim to the Comics Code Authority. The Carter Slade version was an homage to the original.

I mean, an Iron Man armor or a Gamma radiation-induced Hulk form could be tacked on, but those options almost seem redundant.
I mean, in theory, the Marvel Universe could allow someone sufficiently savvy, amoral, and with sufficient intellect and wit to develop a seriously nasty power-set. I mean, Super Soldier Serum + Weapon X upgrades + Power Broker Super-Strength + Gamma Radiation... if you can score a symbiote and a spirit of vengeance atop of that, preferably a Symbiote whom interacted with the Power Cosmic (I'm looking at you, Carnage, even if you are too attached to Kasady to be a viable option to anyone else), you're looking at some crazy levels of power here, and I'm sure I'm overlooking some more possibilities that can be stacked in one individual while remaining compatible.
Couple points off the bat regarding Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider... 1) he didn't have a penance stare. that didn't start until Danny Ketch. Blaze had Hell Fire. 2) Zarathos was not a spirit of Vengeance. Zarathos was a borderline god level being that ate souls. He was on par with Mephisto in terms of power, but Mephisto trapped him, thus limiting his abilities to take out the competition If you are going to do a video on a subject, please research it a bit deeper first.
Me too. My most favorite rider is Rex Fury. He was the Ghost Rider during the golden age of comics. His looks were adapted for Carter Slade by Mavel in 1967. Most Importantly Fury's Stories are set during the Wild West timeline (Yep, he was a cowboy). This is the reason why enjoy his stories more. He is now in the Public Domain Of Superheroes. You can learn about him from here: (his comic books are mentioned as well) pdsh.fandom.com/wiki/Ghost_Rider You can read the comics at comicbookplus.com or readcomiconline.to
Fun fact about the penance stare: only 3 people survived it so far... Punisher (becuase he didn't feel guilty about what he has done) Deadpool (ghost rider saw all the suffering wade has endured and reverted ghost rider back to human) & Dr. Strange (Strange survived by claiming his soul back from the dead)
the aos version is much better, he is possessed by ghost rider, after said hitman attacked him and his brother, Johnny blaze gr passed the spirit to him to save his life and get vengeance on those who has wronged him, and to finish the spirit of vengeances deals (which he does in aos)
which isnt even how it goes in the comics. Zarathos was never an angel, he's always been a demon and the blue ghost rider in the comics is danny ketch after he became the Angel Zadkiel's knight
Crazy Human in the movie yes. In the comics zarathos was never an angel, he was a demon in the original Johnny Blaze comics but then they retconed it and made him a demonic spirit of vengeance in order to give johnny the penance stare

2) Zarathos was not a spirit of Vengeance. Zarathos was a borderline god level being that ate souls. He was on par with Mephisto in terms of power, but Mephisto trapped him, thus limiting his abilities to take out the competition
If you are going to do a video on a subject, please research it a bit deeper first.
I feel like there should be a ghost rider with a flaming unicycle and a clown suit that's black and white, and a flaming skull with a rainbow afro on.
why not
O SHIT
HERE COME DAT RIDER
I agree
I would pay to see that
Ghost Cyclist??
Now Danny Ketch is a Ghost Rider that deserves some love from Marvel. I kind of want an MCU Ghost Rider movie with him in it. That would be sick.
im actually glad i learned more about ghost rider
and i didnt know there were more than 5 ghost riders
Thank you, Ghost Rider doesn't get enough love in the Fandom. I grew up with the Ghost Rider.

Evil qualski : ah skipper we're screwed
I like Johnny Blaze and Robbie Reyes, as well as the Phantom Rider.
You can learn about him from here: (his comic books are mentioned as well) pdsh.fandom.com/wiki/Ghost_Rider
You can read the comics at comicbookplus.com or readcomiconline.to
Man I’d love to see them do more with Cater Slade and Dan Ketch
Fun fact about the penance stare: only 3 people survived it so far... Punisher (becuase he didn't feel guilty about what he has done) Deadpool (ghost rider saw all the suffering wade has endured and reverted ghost rider back to human) & Dr. Strange (Strange survived by claiming his soul back from the dead)
I love this Channel
VariantComics you are the best Arris also what comics would you recommend for a 13 year old reader like myself
I love it. Please do a "History of" Episode for both Hawkgirl and She-Hulk?
who doesn't
Robby Reyes isn't even possed by a demon he is possed by a hitman what the hell
the aos version is much better, he is possessed by ghost rider, after said hitman attacked him and his brother, Johnny blaze gr passed the spirit to him to save his life and get vengeance on those who has wronged him, and to finish the spirit of vengeances deals (which he does in aos)
what happened to ghost rider and the end of the 2nd movie? why'd he turn blue
also that crane scene in spirit of vengeance was dope
which isnt even how it goes in the comics. Zarathos was never an angel, he's always been a demon and the blue ghost rider in the comics is danny ketch after he became the Angel Zadkiel's knight
Zarathos is an Angel who was infiltrating mephistos hell but got found out. He then got tortured and driven mad so that he turned into the ghostrider.
Crazy Human in the movie yes. In the comics zarathos was never an angel, he was a demon in the original Johnny Blaze comics but then they retconed it and made him a demonic spirit of vengeance in order to give johnny the penance stare
i don't have this information from the movies i looked up the story of zarathos
I saw a video a few years ago that said Ghost Rider is a Level 5 Mutant according to his powers in SHIELD
