There’s a scene near the end where Unicron says: “join me and I’ll grant your every wish”
Optimus responds with: “Then DIE”
Metal af should have been a sin off.

I love that line. Peter Cullen will always be my favorite actor as Optimus Prime.
It was badass. I think the complaints about Optimus being too violent aren't always the greatest and this would be one of those times. I'm bringing that up because it's one of the complaints fan have with this film.

If aliens secretly run the world, Pete Davidson is their leader. It's the only explanation.

This movie starts with Noah putting eggs on the stove, leaving them unattended long enough to heat up his soldering iron, go solder parts to his descrambler, and test it. Then he comes back and is surprised the eggs are burned. And he still serves them.
Believe it or not, this tells me EVERYTHING I need to know about this movie.
Transformers Beast Wars show was pure unadulterated awesomeness.

It's actually what got me into the transformers franchise
Well that's just Prime.
Don't forget the toys😊
And its own entity that doesn't need/deserve the punishment of being shoved into this movie franchise. Or *any* Michael Bay movie, for that matter.
I'm sorry, but the line 'I can think of no better place to bury you' is cool af
Yeah that line was epic mannnnn
It’s been suggested that this film and Bumblebee’s self titled movie are not canon to the Bayverse movies. I guess he doesn’t know that.
Which is sin of itself
It doesnt even need to be suggested. They are absolutely two different continuities.
Bee could've been here the whole time, but we literally see Optimaus and the other Autobots arrive to Earth in the first Bay movie in the 2000s.
This movie and Bumblebee are in the 80s and 90s. This is common knowledge, so I have absolutely zero idea why people are confused.
Reminder He hired the person who being stupid on Tv sins
It is a reboot and thank God it is fuck those Bayverse moives the first two were good after that just garbage
its not suggested, it was literally said by Hasbro that its a rebooted timeline.
This latest Transformers movie is another one of those movies where the entire plot revolves around someone finding some device to make something work. And people are wondering why box offices are in such a free fall.
I mean that is basically the entire Transformers franchise. There is always an item. A weapon, a minicon, a key, etc.
@@kanoaikawachyall remember the original show when the whole plot was, deceptions want to drink energon and the autobots stop them

Just gonna say also, the tunnels were made for MiniCons. Unicron can call and summon minicons that are pretty much human sized transformers.

Shoutouts to the Secret Life of Walter Mitty, it really is an inspiring film, it's kind of ridiculous how good it is.
I'm fairly certain they made this as a reboot. Half the sins are banking on the bay films being Canon. The 5th one made earth unicron. They can't be the same timeline.
Agreed. Different universe. Although even the bay movies didn’t know if bumble came to earth in 2007 or ww2
Steven Caple Jr like to imagine this film and bumblebee taking place before the first 3 films whereas the 4th and 5th films non canon
@Orchestrator777 if that's true, then still most of the sins make sense. These things were seen by people? I suppose the few moments in this film are brief and the people speaking up would be either dismissed (no you did not see Giant robots go to sleep) or they get put in mental institutions but they're still kinda just out in the open. It only makes logical sense if the bay films aren't cannon, but at the same time, I still enjoyed 1-3 of the bay films.
@ademon4908 That's right! I almost forgot about Bumblebee fighting Nazis. That was wild and ridiculous in so many ways.
@@Emnitys2except in the first one we see the Autobots arrive ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm a beast wars fanatic. In 6th grade (1999) I even created my own fan casting of who I'd cast as the main characters. To say this movie was an atrocious let down is an understatement
Cinema Sins has never heard of Beast Wars
Cheetor was especially egregious for me
He was one of my favorite characters in the series and he had so much personality! Here he never really says or does anything, same with Rhinox
In addition let down for Unicron and the original cartoon movie.
Amen. There's supposed to be an outtake that shows Megatron saying, 'Cheetor... pull my finger.'
Who would you have casted as the main characters?
Also don’t forget that when the bird and gorilla were fighting right next to the girl, the giant bird was flapping its wings right next to her but her clothes and hair were completely still. Her hair should have been going crazy!! 14:41
Just an FYI, only Bumblebee is canon to this universe

@@redpanda4613 good point. Let’s just forget this shit happened.
I would like to point out that the bay movies take place in An alternate universe because Michael Bay has clearly shown us bumblebee fighting in WW2. The bots arriving in 2007 and Megatron already bing on earth because he was looking for the cube.
In Bumblebee and rise of the beast Bee is there in the 80s , and the humans in that time line know nothing about them because bee was there first encounter with them. I don’t understand how hard it is for people to understand that.
I think you underestimate how hard it is for people to care enough to make the effort to understand that
@@kierancawley3990 no I already know most people wouldn’t put that together. You’d think They would at least notice that thought
The problem is that Bumblebee was conceived and initially shot as a prequel to the first Bay movie, then the reception for The Last Knight happened and they threw in some reshoots to separate them, but also kept some of the prequel elements, meaning it's basically a hybrid of reboot and prequel.

8:50 am i in the right universe, cinemasins just laughed at a transformers joke?
Not only that but a Davidson joke as well!
They didn't even mention the biggest sin... there was no gameboy game that featured Bowser as a obstacle.
There was Super Mario Land and Super Mario Land 2, but neither had Bowser as an enemy. Some villian named Tatanga and I believe Wario featured in the sequel.
There were Game Boy Advance games that had Bowser featured in them, but I believe that was released in 2001 in Japan.
My main question is, how did the Terrorcons come to the past? If they can come to the past, and to come to the past they need the TimeWarp key...then what were they fighting for?
what the fuck are you saying
The scene was set in the past the terracons did not travel to the past.
The terracons along with Unicron were stranded in the galaxy that contained the Maximal home world. That is why it took the terracons led by scourge centuries to find the hiding place of the maximals.
@@deadgear3 Okay. It's very confusing considering how Optimus Primal is named after the legendary warrior/leader Optimus Prime. And the Maximals are also the descendants of Autobots.

There have been only two mainline Mario titles released on the original Gameboy; Super Mario Land and Super Mario Land 2, neither of which have Bowser as the final boss, or have Bowser at all. Super Mario Land's final boss was a space alien named Tatanga, and its sequel's final boss was Wario. Go ahead, fact-check me. I'm waiting. 🤨
I only played like 3 Mario games in my life and after actually fact checking because I swore bowser was the boss directly before or after sphinx in super Mario land 1… apparently my memory is incorrect, there is indeed no bowser in sml 1 at least. I bet you feel your life has fulfilled its purpose for pointing out the inaccuracy of Mario games in a transformers movie. TOUCH GRASS
Someone who watched the movie was surprised that there was an end-credits scene and asked what happened.
I said "the guy who wore a dead Transformer like an Iron Man suit was recruited to be a GI Joe" and then stopped, because saying it out loud just made it so much worse.
I'm peruvian, and actually a big truck in the Cuzco streets are no rare even today, but a Porcshe is extraordinary.... even in Lima (the capital).
I live in a world where Cinemasins has removed a sin for a live-action Transformers movie AND two Fast and Furious movies! Granted, one of them was for Eva Mendes.
Mirage was an indy car, Jazz was a porsche, what did they think Jazz was problematic or something?
Jazz died
@@Xerouisn'tthis a prequel or something?
@@xitaris5981it's a reboot that started and takes place in the 80's while Jaz who arrives to Earth with Optimus happened in the 00's which in the Bayverse makes it clear Bumblebee was already on Earth and fighting along side Humans during WWII but in this universe he arrived in the 80's.
The delineation of the Maximals and the Autobots made more sense in the TV show. The Terrorcons are a gestalt subgroup of Decepticons, while Predacons were a group of descendants of the Decepticons, they were a gestalt group as well in the G1 Era.
You don't know how many times I yelled at the screen, screaming "THIS IS NOT CONNECTED TO THE BAYVERSE!" while watching this video.
Hasbro was wishy washy on that for a long time before going all in on the reboot. I'm okay with casual fans not being aware. But Cinema sins has no excuse.

@@kyleellis1825let’s see what Stephen caple junior the director of rise of the beasts has to say on matter
You don’t need to know much. If anything, Bumblebee got here in 1987, along with Optimus Prime, and they’ve tried to seek refuge on Earth until they can get back to Cybertron. Ultimately, all you need to know is that they’re trying to get back to Cybertron. If you can go into this movie just knowing that piece of information, you’ll be able to track it completely. It doesn’t mess up any of the timeline in 2006, 2007. We’re actually going in a direction that allows us to protect that side of the universe, but that’s all you need to know
@@Eternal_Sky_TardisHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA virgins, all three of you
Perhaps I'm forgetting something, but I don't recall Doc Brown having anything to do with "hertz." He did mispronounce gigawatt, though.
6:06 4000 yottaherz is 4 ronnahertz. If you're hitting "thousand" cut off three zeros and move up to the next prefix.

I'll admit it: I liked this movie. It wasn't perfect, but it was entertaining and fun which is more than I can say for most films these days (yes yes, I saw and loved Oppeheimer and Barbie).
I agree, I'll do admit it barely did anything groundbreaking. But it was a fun film overall despite the flaws it had. I'll take this film over the last two Bayverse films 😂

@ejelecflametails6657 yes! I forgot to mention TSMBM. Good call.
Not all movies have to be Oppenheimer or Interstellar. Sometimes you just want to turn off your brain and watch giant robots fight. “Huge CGI fight coming right up!!”
How in the world do they figure out in 2 minutes "oh let's turn these dials to the right position" and NO ONE ELSE IN HISTORY THOUGHT THE SAME THING BEFORE THEM!?
Funny you mentioned how similar the plot of this is to the newest Indy when I was thinking of the newest mission impossible. Every screenwriter had the “key split into two parts” idea recently I guess.
You’re right about the ripping flesh thing. But Scurge is a sadistic who’s forced to serve a malevolent god-like entity who also infected him with mind altering energy. Scurge’s actions are pretty much on point. But it is a sin, nonetheless.
For information, 4000 yottahertz could have been said as 4 RonnaHertz, considering prefixes of international units. Also that's in the frequency higher than most gamma radiation, so it should just have killed a lot of biologic lives on its way, but who cares.

It’s not like I had low expectations for the movie, but I genuinely liked it. A few years ago on one of the classic movie channels I saw the 1947 The Secret Life of Walter Mitty starring Danny Kaye & Virginia Mayo. To be honest, I like that one better, it just worked for me.
When I look at this, I think silently, like how many times Sam Witwicky called out to Bumblebee for help 😂😂😂😂😂
Clearly they're using the same naming conventions used for exponents of one byte, which is common for hertz as well. So the progression would be kilohertz, megahertz, gigahertz, terahertz, petahertz, exahertz, zettahertz, then yottahertz. I believe that's 10 to the 80th hertz, if you were wondering.
