    FAQs??
-How many squares do I need for a baby blanket?
This can vary, it really can be however big or small you like, but i generally do 4x4 or 5x5.
This blog post might be useful: bit.ly/1UIobie
-How many chains shall I do for a *single/double/etc' blanket?
Again, this can vary. I would suggest that you do your chain and lay it down agains the bed you are wanting it for. It should be the same width. You should then ad a few more to make it a little wider.
This blog post might be useful: bit.ly/1UIobie
-How much yarn do I need?
Unfortunately, I will be able to answer individuals questions about how much yarn you would used do to multiple factors affecting it. Such as, your tension, the size of hook and the yarn being used.

You're a lifesaver! I started doing crochet to find a hobby to get out of an emotional slump, I tried a lot of tutorials here in YT but I always get so confused. At first I thought it's too hard for me and I almost gave up but then I came across your channel over a recommendation from reddit. I learned a lot just from the first two episodes, and I like how you explain in detail every step and you give advices every now and then. Other tutorials are too fast and they expect us to follow through just by watching, but you made it step by step without skipping even the smallest, most common details, which made yours easier to follow and understand. Thank you so much!

My last crochet was in high school, so I am definitely a begginer. I am making a little scarf for my adult daughter's favourite toy animal. I started with 10 stitches, after a while, it became 8, then 7 , and now it's 9. 😆😆
My daughter said, " Mom, this little scarf has character, I don't want you to do any correction, leave it and keep working." She is an angel. Thank you for your demonstration. 🙂

You are very welcome, it sounds like you are dropping and increasing stitches as you go along. Make sure you count your stitches after each round. Your daughter is so right in saying it's got character, it's something you can look back at to see how much you have improved over time :)

Your videos are genuinely the only ones I can understand. My grandma taught me very few basics as a kid & I’ve recently gotten really into it after having my son. I’ve made 3 blankets from another video of yours & now love to watch them bc they help SO much! It’s special to me because it’s something that connects me & my grandmother, we can bond over it, though we’ve always had a strong connection. I don’t see her as much as I should & im sure id be able to get it down with her teaching me in person but your videos are definitely a close second. I deeply appreciate your teachings. Thank you for giving me a way to connect to my grandma.

This series is the only series that I have been able to clearly understand how to crochet.
I can’t tell you how many videos I’ve watched on how to crochet. There have been some lovely creators that have done a good job, but none have been able to explain it in such a way that I could fully and completely understand.
Thank you so much for this series! I have watched it over and over again and I keep learning every time I watch.
I’m currently working on my first big project. I’m making an oversized throw blanket (5ft wide by 6ft long). I’m using a treble crochet (US double crochet) for the blanket stitch and so far it’s turning out beautifully.

I’ve wanted to crochet ever since I was a little girl, my grandmother was so good at it. She, however was not good at teaching her left handed grand daughter, and became exasperated with me during my first lesson, and sent me home in tears. I used to crochet TONS as a kid with my mom many many years ago. Wanted to get back into it for the last year+. As others have said (1) your videos are truly the only Beginner videos I have found. They are easy to follow and your explanations are very clear. I might have to go back and rewatch multiple times but I eventually get it. (2) I am making some "wonky" squares but you motivate me to keep trying and retrying.
I am forcing myself to only make several small practice squares for now until I really have the hang of it so at some point I feel confident working on a full project. Thank you!

your videos are an excellent teaching tutorial
I'm taking them one at a time to practice between stitches but your multiple rows and clear demonstration of the stitch are so helpful with learning to crochet
I have a knitting and crochet book that I tried to learn from but the way I can see the stitches and where the yarn is supposed to go and where my hands ought to be, this is leagues better for me
