When you make your magic ring,it's because you Un- twisted the tail, I had that struggle too, Sooooo try : Making the magic ring, Doing at least one treble crochet in the magic ring, THEN only can you un - twist the tail ALSO When you do a treble crochet or any crochet in a magic ring, Go around the tail and the actual ring Then make sure whenever you pull the tail, it's adjustable Hope this helped

The uh heart I made looks more like a blue raspberry and it took many attempts but I did something! And probably learnt a bit in the process too. Shoutout to my other friends who didn't get this right away ♡ Don't give up, it's okay to take things slow and not accomplish things at the same speed as others.

DAY 4 and i finally figured out how to do this. keep trying because on my first day i couldn’t even get the magic ring right and now i just finished making my first perfect heart crochet!!!! patience and practice is the key. AND THE RESULT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT!!
started crocheting a few months ago, up until now i've only done the same granny square pattern over and over. i got paired up with a 'little' (for a sports club i'm in, all the new members get paired with varsity and the varsity does like a secret santa thing with little clues) and the person i'm paired with also crochets, so one of my clues is going to be a little heart. this tutorial was really easy to follow, i was surprised that my first one actually looks okay! thanks for the easy to follow instructions :) i also like that you show yourself repeating the stitches instead of saying "then do that two more times" and cutting to the next part.

okay guys, i see so many people commenting that they are stuck :( so a lil trick for the magic ring - instead of doing the usual magic ring; chain 2, then chain the no. of chains you need to crochet into the first chain. this might be a little bit confusing, so for this specific tutorial, chain two, then chain 4 into that 1st chain. this helped me SO MUCH, because i cannot make a magic circle for the life of me. hope this helps! ❤
Thank you for breaking down each stitch in such a detailed manner! I didn't realise that I was doing it wrong at first. When doing the treble crochet, I did a yarn over twice and inserted it into the magic ring, then pulled yarn through two loops. Didn't realise I was missing a step. Other videos don't break it down, they just tell you treble crochet, which leads me to this mistake. So thanks for your detailed vid!

i don’t know how i managed to do it but i messed up one half of the heart LOL gonna try again tho, this is the easiest tutorial for me to follow that i’ve found so far! update: i did it! but i’m definitely using different yarn next time, the one i used was too fluffy to see what i was doing properly lol

Oh I messed this up so badly when I tried. I'll try again tomorrow when I'm not in a frustrated mood, I just always lose track of the magic circle and it's so confusing Edit: turns out I was pulling it through the magic circle wrong. For anyone else having trouble with this, watch what they're doing really closely on that step and you'll get it :D

You are the most straight forward tutorial, everyone else wnats you to see and wnats you to have All these extra supplies or change colors and I can’t yet, this one was so much more straight forward. I messed up the first hit causing the slip knote not to tighten but the rest I got down! The second time I got it ✨

Just done this, I probably skipped alot of loops and miscounted but I'm happy I got something that somewhat resembled a heart for my first project. Thank you!
Thank you so much!! This video honestly is the best and I can't thank you enough for explaining everything step by step. A lot of tutorials that say are for begginers tell you to watch a bunch of videos beforehand and do not explain the steps, so this is perfect❤️❤️❤️
okay guys, i see so many people commenting that they are stuck :( so a lil trick for the magic ring - instead of doing the usual magic ring; chain 2, then chain the no. of chains you need to crochet into the first chain. this might be a little bit confusing, so for this specific tutorial, chain two, then chain 4 into that 1st chain. this helped me SO MUCH, because i cannot make a magic circle for the life of me. hope this helps! ❤
This was the absolute best tutorial on crocheting a heart, and I have watched a lot.
Thank you for breaking down each stitch in such a detailed manner! I didn't realise that I was doing it wrong at first. When doing the treble crochet, I did a yarn over twice and inserted it into the magic ring, then pulled yarn through two loops. Didn't realise I was missing a step. Other videos don't break it down, they just tell you treble crochet, which leads me to this mistake. So thanks for your detailed vid!

A lot of comments are saying it's kinda hard to learn this I got all my stuff to crochet today and I after a couple tries I learned how to make the heart she is one of the best ones I found to teach she takes it slow and explains each step if you don't get it right away keep trying

update: i did it! but i’m definitely using different yarn next time, the one i used was too fluffy to see what i was doing properly lol
really really love the way you go through stiches step by step and say how many loops should be on the hook, how to grab the yarn, what things should look lioke, etc. made it very easy to follow along where others leave you behind assuming you know what they're talking about, even on "beginner friendly" patterns. i've got very very minimal crochet experience but today i learned the treble and double crochet stiches! thank you for making an excellent tutorial video. i've never felt so inclined to sub to a channel before.

Oh I messed this up so badly when I tried. I'll try again tomorrow when I'm not in a frustrated mood, I just always lose track of the magic circle and it's so confusing
Edit: turns out I was pulling it through the magic circle wrong. For anyone else having trouble with this, watch what they're doing really closely on that step and you'll get it :D

I messed up the first hit causing the slip knote not to tighten but the rest I got down! The second time I got it ✨

Thanks for tutorial. It took me a few tries and fighting my cat for the yarn, but I did it. Your directions were great, I am still learning how to hold the yarn correctly which is why it took me a few tries. I am excited I finally made something that is recognizable.
