How are you doing today? I hope you are doing well! Today I will show you how to crochet a mini heart. This video is meant for Absolute Beginners but if you are advanced and just want to make a heart, feel free to watch! Again I hope you are all well during this quarantine season and I hope that my videos will help you pass some time :)
Materials:
Yarn (any) (I used category 4 yarn)
Hook (any) (I used a 3.75mm hook)

Edit: I honestly forgot all about this but a little update! I haven’t tried crocheting in over a year mainly due to school ( as I am still in highschool) but I do hope to try it again over the summer!

I can only make a single strand bracelet with it and I do in by using the wrong method of tying knots and holding it. 😭

@@IzaPoppy Keep trying! I'm sure you'll get the hang of it after 2-3 times, at first when we try something new the outcome is really ugly. But when we go for another try, it may look better than the first!

I just want to say if this is anyones first time, its overwhelming. It took me so long and multiple tries. What helped me was slowing down the video and taking my time. Don’t loose hope!
how do you bring the yarn through the loop? when i do try it,
the yarn just doesn’t go through and it goes back to the one slip not. i’ve put down crocheting because i can’t get it, can you help?

I've been crocheting for a couple months now but I visited this tutorial only a couple days in and I completed it. I've come back to it now and I don't know how I did it, I thought I just learnt today how to to a double and triple crochet but apparently I was doing them all the way back at the beginning without realising. Shows how good of a tutorial this is that I could complete this so early without even realising how complicated it actually was. Congrats.
this was one of the only tutorials ive watched that i actually understood and enjoyed. im fairly new to crocheting and i hate it when tutorials cover the project with their fingers or they dont explain how to do a stitch they’re doing but this was perfect. i loved the repetition and how you didn’t jump to a finished project. thank you for saving me so much frustration 🖤🖤

DAY 4 and i finally figured out how to do this. keep trying because on my first day i couldn’t even get the magic ring right and now i just finished making my first perfect heart crochet!!!! patience and practice is the key. AND THE RESULT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT!!

apparently what you wanna look for is like "absolute beginner" like this one because all the "beginner" tutorials assume you have basic understanding on how to do stitches so theyre like "do a magic circle and 18 double-triple-magic-super-loop-stitches, and some square-knot-triangle stitches and blah blah" and meanwhile you're sitting there like whats a stitch
also, I personally always feel like tutorials go way too fast but this one is the exact right speed to see most thinigs without feeling like "come on already I get it" also my tip for everyone looking for tutorials like me is adjust the speed settings and make it slower if you need to see something slower

okay guys, i see so many people commenting that they are stuck :( so a lil trick for the magic ring - instead of doing the usual magic ring, chain 2, then chain the no. of chains you need to crochet into the first chain. this might be a little bit confusing, so for this specific tutorial, chain two, then chain 4 into that 1st chain. this helped me SO MUCH, because i cannot make a magic circle for the life of me. hope this helps! ❤

Oh I messed this up so badly when I tried. I'll try again tomorrow when I'm not in a frustrated mood, I just always lose track of the magic circle and it's so confusing
Edit: turns out I was pulling it through the magic circle wrong. For anyone else having trouble with this, watch what they're doing really closely on that step and you'll get it :D
omg its my third day learning how to crochet. i tried 5 times before i was able to fully complete the coaster beginning crochet and tried this afterward and got it on my second try! i never knew i would find this so fun! thanks so much for the video you explained it so well and the camera quality was amazing! love your work and videos!

Thank you for breaking down each stitch in such a detailed manner! I didn't realise that I was doing it wrong at first. When doing the treble crochet, I did a yarn over twice and inserted it into the magic ring, then pulled yarn through two loops. Didn't realise I was missing a step. Other videos don't break it down, they just tell you treble crochet, which leads me to this mistake. So thanks for your detailed vid!
