I completely understand that some crafting projects can seem challenging, especially when you're just starting. It's true that experienced crafters often make things look easier than they are. However, remember that every crafter starts somewhere, and practice makes perfect. Don't be discouraged by the number of steps or the initial difficulty. Take your time, go step by step, and don't hesitate to rewind or rewatch the tutorial if needed. Over time, you'll gain confidence and experience, and what seems difficult now will become easier. Crafting is not just about the final product; it's also about the journey of learning and improving. Keep at it, and you'll surprise yourself with how much you can accomplish! 😊🧵👍
You're definitely not alone in finding slip knots challenging, especially when you're new to crocheting. But don't worry, with a little practice, it will become second nature. Here are a few tips to help you master the slip knot: Take it Slow: When you're learning, go slowly. Follow each step of making the slip knot carefully. There are plenty of tutorials available online with step-by-step instructions and clear visuals. Use the Right Materials: Sometimes, the yarn or the hook/needle size can make a difference. If you're using very slippery yarn, it might be harder to hold the knot in place. Starting with a medium-thickness, non-slippery yarn (like a worsted weight cotton or wool) can make learning easier. Practice Consistency: Try to make several slip knots in a row. The more you practice, the more muscle memory you'll develop. With repetition, your fingers will learn how much tension to apply and how to move. Watch Videos: Sometimes, seeing someone else do it can be more helpful than reading about it. There are many videos available online where you can see the process in action. Stay Relaxed: Keep your hands relaxed. Tension in your fingers can make it more difficult to manipulate the yarn. Remember, everyone struggles with different aspects of learning a new skill, and it's completely normal to find certain steps challenging at first. Keep practicing, and you'll get the hang of it!
Starting a new skill, can be challenging at first. Don't be too hard on yourself-it's completely normal to face some difficulties initially. With a bit of practice, you'll likely find it becomes easier.🙂
It's completely normal to feel a bit overwhelmed at first, but I'm so glad to hear that you found it easy once you got the hang of it! Happy crocheting, and keep enjoying the creative journey! 😊🧶

I’m so glad the video was helpful for you! 🥰Keep up the great work with your crochet-everyone has their own style and it’s wonderful that you’re making progress. Thank you for your kind words and positivity! 💖🙌🏻🙏
I made it but my heart looks like anything exept a heart it is very assymetrical it has a bit of shape but as a beginner that cannot control tension well it is not easy at all cuz you are gonna find a side that is small and tight and a side that is big and loose .
Don't worry, that's completely normal for beginners! Controlling tension takes practice, and it's common for projects to turn out a bit wonky at first. Keep practicing and you’ll get better at it. Each time you crochet, your tension will improve and your stitches will become more even. Just remember, every attempt is progress! ❤ Keep going and you'll have perfect hearts in no time!😊
This will be a great project for my granddaughter who is learning to crochet and needs practice. These short patterns are perfect to build success in crocheting! She’ll look forward making these in a garland after C’MAS in Jan for Valentine’s Day. I’ll ck your past videos for Stars to add to the garland. She likes hanging different garlands.
Thank you so much! This was the first thing that worked for me, my first project. My mom passed away over 10 years ago, and I still have her yarn and hook Meant a lot to be able to complete a crochet project with her hook . I'm 54, so took a couple of tries, but with your help and slowing it down I got it! :) Thank you!
You're very welcome! I'm deeply touched to hear how meaningful this project was for you, especially using your mom's yarn and hook. It's a beautiful way to connect with her memory. Don't worry about the time it took; the most important thing is that you persisted and succeeded. If you ever need more guidance or have any questions about future projects, feel free to reach out. Happy crocheting! 😊❤
I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with the slip knot! It can be a bit tricky at first, but with some practice, you'll get the hang of it. Here's a simple step-by-step guide: Start with a tail of yarn and make a loop with the yarn crossing over the top. Insert your crochet hook through the loop. Grab the working yarn (the end attached to the skein) with your hook and pull it through the loop. Pull both ends of the yarn to tighten the knot around the hook. If you're still having trouble, you might find it helpful to watch some video tutorials for visual guidance. Keep practicing, and don't get discouraged! You'll get it soon. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.
Hi, at first i also found it tricky, but here is a tip: When you put your hook thru the first chain and wrap your yarn around the hook, push the two loops on your hook together, and then pull the yarn thru, it makes it easier so you dont have to try and pull a loop thru the other❤
My first project everrr mine is looking like a circle but for a first try as an 11 yr old it’s quite good and u made it so easy coz words like treble look and hear very vulgar and other videos make it very complicated but you just made it so easy I love the way u teach and I’ll keep on watching ur videos
That’s fantastic for a first project-well done! 😊 I’m really glad to hear that the way I teach made things easier for you. It’s awesome that you’re enjoying the process and feeling confident. Keep up the great work. Thanks for watching, and happy crocheting! 🧶💖
This is the BEST crochet tutorial ive seen, i love crocheting and ive always wanted to do hearts but every channel is so fast and confusing! But this is so helpful and i made it into a keychain and i LOVE it soooo much!! Even though mine isnt as great as yours because its the first time it still looks AMAZING! Im gonna make more because its sooo nice, simple and cute! Thank you so so so so sooooo much for this AMAZING TUTORIAL!!! ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for your kind words🥰 Your enthusiasm is absolutely heartwarming! I'm thrilled to hear that you found the tutorial helpful and that you successfully made a beautiful heart keychain. I have attempted this for 3 hours and finally figured it out (I also got a circle). While you're doing the heart, push your stitches closer to eachother to make more room for your circle center so there is space. I can't crochet as tight as she does in the video so I move them manually with my hands where they should go (aka closer together)

Favorite crochet tutorial I've tried yet. It likely helped that I finally had some nice beginner yarn, but gracious, I made something other than lumpy stitches!!!
Thank you so much for this lovely comment🥰 I'm thrilled to hear that the tutorial was helpful, and it's wonderful that you had a positive experience with your project! Note to self: personally I find it helpful to chain an extra stitch for the first loop, results in less puckering with my hook. Using a larger hook and netting twine needs at least 2 extra, 1 was not enough

Oh no! It's always frustrating when unexpected things happen mid-project. Don't worry, though - mishaps like hooks coming off are a common part of the crafting journey. You've already made it halfway, which is a fantastic accomplishment! To get back on track, simply reattach your hook and pick up where you left off. Keep up the great work, and happy crocheting! 😊❤

my daughter and I have started crochet and following through, the circle is not always obvious so we struggle and have to start again. What can we be doing wrong?
It’s wonderful that you and your daughter are learning to crochet together! 😊 If the heart isn’t forming as clearly, it might be due to a few things: Stitch Count: Make sure you’re counting your stitches carefully. Missing or adding a stitch can cause the circle to lose shape. Tension: If the yarn is too tight or too loose, it can affect how the circle forms. Try adjusting your tension so it’s consistent. Joining Rounds: Ensure you're properly joining each round (if you're working in the round) and starting the new one with the correct number of chains. Don’t worry about having to start over; it’s all part of the learning process. You’re doing great!
Thank you so much for your kind words!🥰 I’m thrilled you enjoyed the video! I can’t wait to share more with you. If you have any specific topics in mind or questions, just let me know. Happy crafting! 🌟❤️
You’re very welcome! 😊 I’m so glad to hear that you found it beginner-friendly and that you made a heart-broken or not, it’s fantastic that it worked out! If you have any more questions or need more tips, just let me know. Happy crocheting, and keep up the great work! 🌟❤️🧶
I love the tutorial and it was easy to follow however my problem is with tension. Any tips on how to keep the tension stable? My heart looks weird cause some parts are loose and some parts are tight 😅😅
I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the tutorial!🥰 Tension can be a bit tricky to master, but with practice, you'll definitely improve. Here are some tips to help keep your tension stable: Practice Regularly: The more you crochet, the better you'll become at maintaining consistent tension. Practice really does make perfect! Relax: Try to keep your hands and shoulders relaxed while crocheting. Tension issues often arise when we're tense or stressed, so take breaks when needed and remember to breathe. Use Proper Tools: Make sure you're using the right hook size for the yarn you're using. Experiment with different hook sizes until you find the one that helps you achieve the desired tension. Hold Yarn Comfortably: Find a comfortable way to hold your yarn that allows it to flow smoothly through your fingers. There are various methods, such as wrapping the yarn around your fingers or holding it between your fingers, so find what works best for you. Practice Stitches: Practice individual stitches to get a feel for how they should look and feel when crocheted with proper tension. Block Your Work: Blocking your finished piece can help even out tension irregularities and give your project a more polished look. Keep practicing, be patient with yourself, and enjoy the process! 😊🧶
Learning to crochet as a beginner can take some time, and it's important to go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Here are a few tips that might help: Ajust the speed of the video: Set the speed of the video as slow as you like in the settings tab. Pause and Rewind: Feel free to pause the video at any point where you feel you need more time. Rewatch specific sections multiple times until you feel confident before moving on to the next step. Break It Down: Rather than trying to complete the entire project in one go, break it down into smaller sections. Master each section before moving on to the next. This can make the learning process more manageable. Practice Basic Stitches: Practice all the stitches separately first. Familiarity with basic stitches like single crochet, double crochet, etc., will make following the instructions easier.
You're very welcome! I'm thrilled to hear that you found the instructions easy to follow and that you made such a cute heart. If you ever need guidance or inspiration for your next project, don't hesitate to reach out. Keep up the fantastic work! 🌟😊
Don't worry, mistakes happen! It's a common crochet hiccup. Try again and make sure to follow the tutorial closely to get that heart shape. You'll get it right with a bit of practice. 😊💕
I'm sorry to hear that you had a tough time with the tutorial, and I understand that learning something new can be challenging, especially as a beginner. Don't worry; it's completely okay to take things at your own pace. You can always slow down the speed of the video, in the settings tab on the screen. Crafting is meant to be enjoyable, and with a bit of patience and practice, you'll get the hang of it. 💖
@@AdoreCreaCrochet Thank you so much for the tips! I'll try my best and keep going 💪 Also, I hope you don't mind if I ask but how long did it take you to fully learn crocheting? I have started quite recently and I haven't made much progress!
Sending lots of love right back to you! ❤️ If you ever need help, have questions, or just want to chat about crochet or anything else, feel free to reach out. Happy crafting! 🥰
I had the same issue at first but I found the fix. It becomes a circle when you run outta room in the circle at the center of the heart. To fix this I manually move the stitches closer to one another sense I can't stitch as tight as she does. It worked when I moved the stitches closer together (pushing with my hands) sense it created more room.
It sounds like you might be unintentionally pulling the yarn too tightly when you're chaining, causing the loop to slip off the hook. Here are a few tips that might help: Loosen Your Grip: When you wrap the yarn around the hook, try to maintain a relaxed tension. Don't pull too tightly. Hold the Yarn Correctly: Make sure you're holding the working yarn (the yarn connected to the ball) with your non-dominant hand in a way that allows it to slide smoothly as you chain. Practice Tension Control: Practice chaining slowly and deliberately, focusing on maintaining an even tension throughout. Use the Right Size Hook: Ensure that the crochet hook you're using is appropriate for the yarn you're working with. Sometimes using a hook that's too small can cause tension issues. If you continue to have trouble, it might also help to watch video tutorials or have someone demonstrate chaining in person. Don't hesitate to experiment a bit to find what works best for you. Happy crocheting!

I had to start over 10 times, i gave up, but im gonna try again in a bit. The tutorial is easy, it was just that my string kept getting messy and stuck.
I understand that starting over multiple times can be frustrating, but it's great that you're not giving up. Taking breaks and approaching it with a fresh perspective can often make a big difference. If the tutorial seems easy but you're encountering issues with your string, you might want to double-check the steps and pay extra attention to the details. If you run into any specific challenges, feel free to ask for help - I'm here to assist you!
Ok this was the easiest heart to make for me. The magic circle i see most people doing get a lil complicated. The chain circle works better for me. I assume it closes the hole in the middle doung the magic circle way. Plus for some reason i end up with the whole in the middle either way.😅 Oh well now i gotta practice this one more. Thanks so much for this video. 🙂💖
I'm thrilled to hear that you found the tutorial helpful!🥰 Crocheting techniques can vary, and it's fantastic that you've found a method that works best for you with the chain circle. Practice makes perfect, and I'm confident that with a bit more practice, you'll master it even more. If you ever have any questions or need further assistance, don't hesitate to ask. Happy crocheting, and thank you for watching the video! 😊💖
You are very welcome😊 Doubling a crochet pattern to make a bigger version can be a bit tricky😅, especially with shapes like hearts where the proportions need to be just right. The most easy way to make it bigger is use some thicker yarn and a larger hook. If you use a yarn that's twice as thick and a hook that's appropriately larger, your heart will naturally come out twice as big while following the same pattern. Good luck with your project❤
Hey there!🥰 Congratulations on completing the heart, even if it's not perfect! Remember, imperfections are a part of the journey, and the important thing is that you took the initiative. Celebrate your effort and learning from the experience. Keep practicing, and you'll continue to improve over time. Well done! 👏😊

I’m sorry to hear that the slip stitch was challenging. Let’s simplify it a bit: How to Do a Slip Stitch: Insert your hook into the top of the starting chain or the top of the last stitch of the round. Yarn over (wrap the yarn around the hook). Pull the yarn through both the stitch and the loop on your hook.
Oh no! 😢 I'm sorry to hear your heart came out lopsided twice, but I'm glad the third time was the charm! Crafting or creating something can be a journey of trial and error, but the satisfaction of finally getting it right is so rewarding. ❤😊

i just started crochet and i thought it would be relaxing but this just made me break 1 hook and almost threw my phone, I'm already starting to hate this
I'm sorry to hear that you're finding crochet frustrating. It's not uncommon to feel this way when you're just starting out with a new skill, especially one that requires a lot of coordination and patience like crochet. Here are a few tips that might help make the learning process smoother and more enjoyable: Start Simple: Begin with very basic projects. Things like simple dishcloths, scarves, or granny squares can be great starting points. They help you practice basic stitches without the complexity of shaping or pattern reading. Right Tools: Make sure you're using the right size hook for your yarn. A mismatch can make crocheting unnecessarily difficult. Also, ergonomic hooks can be easier on your hands. Take Breaks: If you feel yourself getting frustrated, take a short break. Crochet should be relaxing, not a source of stress. Tension Control: Managing yarn tension comes with practice. If your stitches are too tight and causing hooks to break, try to relax your grip on the yarn and hook. Learning Resources: Consider different types of learning resources. Some people find video tutorials easier to follow than written patterns or books. There are many beginner-friendly tutorials available online. Practice Consistency: Even if it's just a few minutes a day, regular practice can lead to improvement more quickly than long, sporadic crocheting sessions. Community Support: Consider joining a local or online crochet group. Fellow crocheters can be incredibly supportive and offer helpful tips and encouragement. Remember, every crocheter has been where you are now, and it's perfectly okay to feel a bit overwhelmed at first. With time and practice, it will get easier, and you'll start to find the relaxing and rewarding aspects of this craft. Keep going, and don't be too hard on yourself!
@@AdoreCreaCrochet omgg i watched this like 15 times and the next day i did it again and i was able to do it! thank you so much for the tips! now i can practice for a crochet headband
I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling discouraged about crochet. It's completely okay to feel frustrated when learning a new skill, and it's important to remember that everyone progresses at their own pace. Instead of giving up, consider taking a break to clear your mind, and then return to crochet with a fresh perspective. There are plenty of tutorials and resources available online that can provide step-by-step guidance. Start with simple projects and gradually challenge yourself as you become more comfortable with the basic techniques. Remember, learning any new skill takes time, patience, and practice. Don't be too hard on yourself, and celebrate small victories along the way. If you have specific questions or concerns about crochet, feel free to ask for help, and I'll do my best to assist you!❤
I understand your frustration, and I'm here to help troubleshoot the issue. If your crochet heart is turning out more like a circle, a few common reasons could be: Counting Stitches: Double-check that you are following the stitch count and instructions accurately. If you have too few stitches in certain sections or if your increases are not in the correct places, it can affect the shape. Using the Right Stitch: Ensure that you are using the specified stitches in the pattern. Sometimes using the wrong stitch can alter the shape of the project. Tension: Consistent tension is crucial in creating a uniform shape. If your tension is too tight or too loose, it can impact the overall appearance of the heart. Remember, it's okay to encounter challenges while learning, and persistence will lead to improvement. If you need further clarification or have more questions, feel free to ask! 🧶😊
Congratulations on persevering and successfully completing the tutorial, especially as a complete beginner! It's completely normal for new skills to feel challenging at first😊. Learning to crochet a heart can be a bit tricky at first, but don't get discouraged! Like any skill, it takes practice and patience to master. If you're finding it difficult, you might want to start with simpler crochet projects and gradually work your way up to more complex shapes like hearts. Keep practicing, and you'll get the hang of it over time. Remember, every experienced crocheter was once a beginner too!😊😊

Yall can say it’s easy but please this so hard like THERE SO MANT STEPS AND LIKE SHE MAKES IT LOOK SO EASY 🥸😭😭😫😟😟🤨

Which type of yarn do u use?
I used Drops Merino Extra Fine. DK Light worsted weight yarn.
is it js me or are slipknots SO HARD
You're definitely not alone in finding slip knots challenging, especially when you're new to crocheting. But don't worry, with a little practice, it will become second nature. Here are a few tips to help you master the slip knot:
Take it Slow: When you're learning, go slowly.
Mine looks like a rat’s leftovers *from the other end😮
Starting a new skill, can be challenging at first. Don't be too hard on yourself-it's completely normal to face some difficulties initially. With a bit of practice, you'll likely find it becomes easier.🙂
It helps me but its hard too:(
Hang in there! Learning crochet can be challenging at first, but with practice and patience, it gets easier. You're doing great-keep going!🧶😊

Only video that helped me bro I did not as god as her but I still did jesus loves y’all jesus is god mane feared in the flesh.💖🙌🏻🙏🙏
She’ll look
forward making these in a garland after C’MAS in Jan for Valentine’s Day.
I’ll ck your past videos for
Stars to add to the garland. She likes hanging different garlands.
Yes, you are absolutely right. It is smart to start out with small manageable projects like this. And it just sounds super nice with that garland❤️😊
It's a beautiful way to connect with her memory. bro i’ve been trying to do the slip knot for 15 minutes😭
I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with the slip knot! It can be a bit tricky at first, but with some practice, you'll get the hang of it. Here's a simple step-by-step guide:
Start with a tail of yarn and make a loop with the yarn crossing over the top.
Hi, at first i also found it tricky, but here is a tip:
When you put your hook thru the first chain and wrap your yarn around the hook, push the two loops on your hook together, and then pull the yarn thru, it makes it easier so you dont have to try and pull a loop thru the other❤
My first project everrr mine is looking like a circle but for a first try as an 11 yr old it’s quite good and u made it so easy coz words like treble look and hear very vulgar and other videos make it very complicated but you just made it so easy I love the way u teach and I’ll keep on watching ur videos

why do i end up with a freaking circle?
Sounds frustrating! 😬 Could be a stitch mix-up-try double-checking the instructions step by step.
SAME!!! No matter what I do I just keep getting a circle! I’ve re done it like three times now…
I have attempted this for 3 hours and finally figured it out (I also got a circle). While you're doing the heart, push your stitches closer to eachother to make more room for your circle center so there is space. I can't crochet as tight as she does in the video so I move them manually with my hands where they should go (aka closer together)

Note to self: personally I find it helpful to chain an extra stitch for the first loop, results in less puckering with my hook. Using a larger hook and netting twine needs at least 2 extra, 1 was not enough

my daughter and I have started crochet and following through, the circle is not always obvious so we struggle and have to start again. What can we be doing wrong?
It’s wonderful that you and your daughter are learning to crochet together! 😊 If the heart isn’t forming as clearly, it might be due to a few things:
Stitch Count: Make sure you’re counting your stitches carefully.
Bruh mine turned out to be a blob
It happens. try again another day. You will get it if you keep trying🥰

Here are some tips to help keep your tension stable:
Practice Regularly: The more you crochet, the better you'll become at maintaining consistent tension.
I am a beginner and I tried to follow but ur doing it too fast so i put it into the slowest speed possible yet I still cant do it
Learning to crochet as a beginner can take some time, and it's important to go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Here are a few tips that might help:
Ajust the speed of the video: Set the speed of the video as slow as you like in the settings tab.

Thank you for explaining how to do this. It was so easy to follow
You are very welcome. Thank You so much for your positive feedback. It makes me very happy to hear❤🙂
What do i keep doing wrong?? It keeps ending up in a circleeeeeee😭😭😭😭
I had the same issue at first but I found the fix. It becomes a circle when you run outta room in the circle at the center of the heart. To fix this I manually move the stitches closer to one another sense I can't stitch as tight as she does. It worked when I moved the stitches closer together (pushing with my hands) sense it created more room.
i struggled a lot but ended up finishing it although it looks like a circle 😪
Im trying to chain but whenever i go to chain the part that i wrapped around the hook will disappear pls hekp
It sounds like you might be unintentionally pulling the yarn too tightly when you're chaining, causing the loop to slip off the hook. Here are a few tips that might help:
Loosen Your Grip: When you wrap the yarn around the hook, try to maintain a relaxed tension.
@@AdoreCreaCrochet tysm this helped!

Ok this was the easiest heart to make for me. The magic circle i see most people doing get a lil complicated. The chain circle works better for me. Thankyou i wanted to make a bigger heart so i thought just DOUBLE THE PATTERN HAHA 😂😂 WRONG DIDN'T WORK ATLEAST I TRIED .❤❤❤😊
I did it even tho not perfect😢
the right side is bigger than the left sidee
Hey there!🥰 Congratulations on completing the heart, even if it's not perfect! Remember, imperfections are a part of the journey, and the important thing is that you took the initiative. I couldn’t even do the slip stitch
I’m sorry to hear that the slip stitch was challenging. Let’s simplify it a bit:
How to Do a Slip Stitch:
Insert your hook into the top of the starting chain or the top of the last stitch of the round.
Yarn over (wrap the yarn around the hook).
Pull the yarn through both the stitch and the loop on your hook.
My heart came out lopsided 😭

Its so hard 😔 I just saw the video and then (🥴😶😲-me) I was surprised 🤯
It's completely okay to feel a bit overwhelmed or surprised, especially when you're trying something new. Crocheting, like any skill, takes some time and practice to master. Don't be too hard on yourself! If you have specific questions or if there's a particular part of the pattern that's challenging, feel free to let me know. I'm here to help and offer guidance. With a bit of patience and practice, you'll likely find it getting easier over time. Keep at it, and don't hesitate to ask for assistance when needed! 😊🧶
i just started crochet and i thought it would be relaxing but this just made me break 1 hook and almost threw my phone, I'm already starting to hate this
I'm sorry to hear that you're finding crochet frustrating. It's not uncommon to feel this way when you're just starting out with a new skill, especially one that requires a lot of coordination and patience like crochet. Here are a few tips that might help make the learning process smoother and more enjoyable:
Start Simple: Begin with very basic projects.
Crochet looks boring
I understand that crochet might not be everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s totally okay! 😊 But it can be really fun and relaxing once you get into it.
I cant crochet anything so i give up i cant do hearts ,squares, circles ,plushies or anything crochet i give up.😢😢😢
I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling discouraged about crochet. If you have specific questions or concerns about crochet, feel free to ask for help, and I'll do my best to assist you!❤
this actually helped me, bc bc im really new to this and u were very precise which helped me alot
Thank you very much for your comment 🥰 Im so glad to hear that you liked my Tutorial and found it helpful 🌸❤️
why is mine a circle? what am i doing wrong ? i’ve started over 7 times and it’s always a circle !
I understand your frustration, and I'm here to help troubleshoot the issue. If your crochet heart is turning out more like a circle, a few common reasons could be:
Counting Stitches: Double-check that you are following the stitch count and instructions accurately.

Hej.
