I'd be all over these if they had a red light mode. Especially the arkflex.
Unfortunately If you purchased the Pro during Black Friday, you received a version that is locked to double-click for strobe and triple-click for Turbo. It was initially changed to avoid accidental turbo activation in pocket. Enough people complained that they added the option to swap but still kept double-click strobe as default.

thats 100% false. they didnt change the arkfeld pro at all. mine triple clicks into strobe. zombie edition. prerelease editions are not first editions. prototype testers are just that, prototype testers. my zombie pro strobes on triple click. if you didnt even get a tester sample you dont have a clue what your talking about
@@nomercyinc6783 I don't think you know what you're talking about. Mine, straight out of the box, strobe is double click. Turbo is triple.
@@nomercyinc6783It wasn't consistent at first. After the "change" but before Dec 6 IIRC they are locked "backwards. Starting with the December sale they have the changeable UI. But some BF lights were locked original UI and others the supposed improved UI but they are not changeable.
I picked up the Arkflex and have been carrying it everyday for a week now. First, the comfort is great and sometimes I forget that it's there. I have only had cylindrical lights in the past, but now I see the appeal of this form factor. I was never interested in the Arkfeld because I don't need a laser or UV. Second, the pivoting head makes it incredibly versatile. I wasn't sure why I needed that feature, but I find different ways to use it that I never imagined before. Third, I don't have a third, but thanks for the great comparison.
I just change my pro to double click for turbo. You saved me a bunch of time trying to figure it out. Thanks Dom. 👍

I got the zombie Arkfeld Pro and then during the Christmas sale bundles I got the OD green and was frustrated with the change in functionality (because I didn't ready the directions) and contacted Olight. They explained, like you did, how to change back to what I consider normal UI. Great lights.
I picked myself up an Arkfeld pro for my birthday a couple days ago. Iv been wanting a UV light and this combo should make a great edc light
Neat. Just got one each for me and my dad and this was extremely useful information.
I used to carry the UV which was also very good but its currently shelved because I aswell picked up the Zombie pro that has the original UI and it has been so much better for my job (which is building maintenance) and everyday use. The laser is perfect for point to a certain light fixture, roof HVAC unit, or a leak in the roof or pipes. the UV shows all the hidden disgusting bits in the bathrooms or boiler room, the pocket clip of on both of arkfeld models doubles as a hat clip so i dont need to carry a head lamp like the Perun 2 or P2 mini. Perfect fit for me
the arkfeld pro doesnt have the og ui its got an updated one.
@@nomercyinc6783 I bought the first run of them as soon as they released, they later updated the UI from double click turbo to triple and also the fitment of the button sits lower then mine does. My version protrudes slightly and has the possibility to turn on in my pocket. when my friends ODG Pro sits nicely flush possibly lower than the selector ring. They did this due to an incident where someone accidentally turned on the turbo mode in their pocket and got burned pretty bad. 😬
Yep, and you can mod it back to the original if you want.

Going to wait until they release the Arkfeld pro in a desert brown or a limited edition that doesn't look goofy. I use the laser all the time on the gen 1, but I do want to upgrade because it's too dim over long distance.

The 10x press and hold on lockout doesn't work on mine. I have EU version with Class 1 laser. Any advice how to swap key press for strobe turbo?
If I didn't have any Arkfeld I'd buy the Pro. Since I already have the UV I'll probably stick with it.
- I have the Arkfeld Pro in orange and black, double click turbo, and I've never had it turn on in pocket. I tried carrying the seeker 4 pro in pocket and it comes on constantly.

it was in the olight release video for the pro. or in the manual. people can learn to learn shit themselves by reading stuff themselves. lazy people dont deserve any assistance by anyone

Or make a rechargeable keychain uv light
the arkfeld pro has a more powerful uv emitter than the seeker 4 mini and arkfeld both. arkfeld uv 500nm seeker 4 mini 700 nm and the arkfeld pro at 900 nm. the pro is the brightest uv version from olight. if you need a small powerhouse uv light buy a lumintop tool 2.0 uv.

Only “olight lithium batteries “can be used , batteries are expensive and poor quality.
Actually they source very good batteries..only those from Samsung or Panasonic are better
none of those are as cool as the eternal edition of the arkfeld
