Olight has not had a sale yet this year. So we should be seeing a sale on their website in the next few weeks. Love this light but not at $100.

I was hoping to see them discounted at least a little bit during this past sale but no such luck.

No need to apologize for being an O-Light fan boy. Sitting at my desk, I have Six (6) O-Light flashlights within arms reach (Arkfeld UV, Batton 4, Seeker 4, Batton Pro, Javalot Mini, and Seeker 4 Pro), as well as Two (2) O-Bulbs and Two (2) O-Pen Glow pens. In arms reach, I also have a Valkyrie PL-Mini, an OTacle U1, and an I3E on my keys.
Never had a problem with any of them.

Now there is a man who loves his Olights!! I'm curious to know what you think about the recent sale. Felt a little lack luster to me. Especially after the long wait.

I hate stuff with non replaceable batteries. I don't wanna buy it because it will go to some fraudulent recycling program and end up in a African rubbish pile.
And you know where you wanna keep it, in your car, which happens to just kill rechargeable batteries.... the best is NiMH LSD batteries for rechargeable (very low self discharge rate) or Lithium Primary. I wish they at least put a hatch so you can TRY to replace the battery easily in the future to keep it out of the dumps. It's a shame because the tech is bright enough that it will still likely be useful for 20 years because human eyes don't need too much brighter for checking under the hood. All these square lights I want to put in the car. But they also all die in the car. I don't put anything without replaceable batteries in the car. Anyone else like putting rectangular objects in the car? They don't rattle. 18650 stuff you can often put 2x cr123 cells in it to have a 10 year shelf life for emergency or rarely used 'handy' goods and even use a adapter for larger cylinder cells. I hate how much e-waste gadgets started to make because of non replaceable batteries.

because chances are if you have a access hatch, you can probobly fit something in there, it might have only 60% of the capacity, but battery tech moves forward and they do get smaller, so despite dead space its possible you can even maintain or increase the capacity of the light. Sometimes I wish I bought some stock instead of disposable gadgets >:C

And the other thing that bugs me is designers pride. If you design something you are proud of it and you want it to stand the test of time. It makes me feel like I am buying produce kinda. You are supposed to fall in love with your gadgets but their also made to be thrown away and get replaced by something you might not like?? I feel like you won't get the best engineers if you have them engineer disposable products ! It's not like these manufacturers have been known to be stable suppliers. You get a obsolete list 10 miles long with these guys.

I completely agree with you. I hate that the batteries are non replaceable. Unfortunately, due to the form factor they are trying to stuff as much battery in the case as possible and using every millimeter of space. Just like phones!! I miss the days when phone batteries were replaceable. And they seemed to last longer too!!
