As soon as I saw the Flex I "thought" this may be a good light for my intended use. After watching several reviews who suggested several ways to use it - I think it will make for a great light to put in my Veto Bag that I use for general home DIY & my RV toolbag👍
I wonder how much the wuben x3 influenced this design decision
that little light is dumb and not remotely simliar to the arkflex.

I have quite a few of the original, a few UV and now 3 of the pro models. I carry a pro every day and not really interested in the Flex but I got an orange one anyway just for giggles.
I will test it for a week or so but no way is it replacing my pro.
Just bought the flex. Love it…my only caveats are, I’d prefer USB-C charging, don’t like being stuck with loosing their charger…and the switch, it’s ok, but not intuitive. I’m an elevator tech, so it is a tool not a toy for me, and so far, it’s my favorite. The clip is a big addition to its useful ness. Good review thanks
I was torn between a few models and bought me the Perun 2 in Dream Blue with the matching i3t eos. I wanted a backup i3t eos Dream Blue 😏

So what do you think about the Olight Arkflex VS the Fenix PD25R? Not quite the same, but thought id ask since you own both. Any opinion/insight is appreciated.
The much further throw/beam distance is the one major pro to the PD25R
I did a review on the PD25R, my opinion is still the same..ALMOST perfect but terrible UI. I spent 3 days with it in my pocket and hated it.
All three models are complimentary in my opinion of the “ark” series, especially the pro as your main and the flex as your backup (or hands free) when walking the dog after dinner in the freezing cold.

Does olight typically take weeks and weeks to ship your order? I'm even located in Virginia. My Black Friday order has been in "USPS awaiting item" since December 2.
Olight replied to my order status form submission quickly and they are re-shipping. I wish I'd reached out to them sooner!

no, nextool is seperate, but they also OEM tools for other companies like Olight.

@@nomercyinc6783 i know olight uses kizer for their OEM on knives. I guess i got confused when he mentioned that Olight covers the manufacturer's warranty for the rebranded nextool multitool.

Whats premiere good for, why you keep doing it.
I'm sure there's a benefit, but it always makes me ignore the video because I see it know I can't watch and then forget to care once I've removed the notification
it lets everyone know when a video is at a wierd time. Also it gives me a chance to answer questions in real time.

Yeah the usb c thing is more for the fact that you can pick up a USB C cable pretty much everywhere or you'll just have one on you and if you forget to take the olight cable you're screwed
if you forget your flashlight and bring your cable you're also screwed
type c wont fast charge flashlight batteries. type c isnt an improvement over magnetic charging at all. removing the ability to use all your existing chargers or an omino isnt an improvement at all. people pushing for type c are simply wrong

While I am interested in thr arkflex, I will hold for an arkflex pro. Cause I can see where they would have a dial to switch through modes.

I appreciate your review, but the Arkflex looks absolutely ridiculous on the bill of a hat. Olight needs to design a true hat bill light that’s similar in size and weight to the OClip. And I don’t mean a Baton 4 with a reversible clip.
Shoot, I already placed an order before I saw this video...
If this works I'll try to make it a constant thing, its a new strategy so we will see how it goes.

@@edrader thing about carp is you have to clean the mudvein very thoroughly.
really not that complex or hard to understand what the difference between a deep single emitter reflector and a 4 emitter shallow reflector or optics. that was unncessary explanation
