RGT has really stepped up to the "A" game! I've got the RTR coming, it has the steel frame and transmission gears and metal ring and pinion gears. Great crawling video! Liked the tunes too!
Beautiful platform well thought out and executed. I'm seriously thinking of getting this platform plus the 1:16 scale crawler. Thanks for showcasing the HobbyWing QuicRun setup. This gives us options so we can enjoy the hobby without wrecking our bank account.
From the videos I've seen. It seems to be smooth as silk at crawling speed. I went with the 1800kv. I hope that wasn't to much after seeing this vid. Nice wheel'n Tony. Always a pleasure!
The Fusion really have gotten my interest as I have a scale snow plow build I am getting parts for and a 1/14th scale day cab semi doesn't have much room for electronics. Especially considering how many servos I have to try and hide. It does look like it runs as smooth as butter.
How would you compare this purely in wheel speed to something like a 27t brushed set up? I am looking for a new system, used the 2300kv AXE system but it had more wheel speed than I needed, the 1800kv isn't in stock and I fear 1200kv might just be a bit too low.
Hi, Tony! I just bought the exact same truck and considering the quickrun fusion. Was it straight forward to install? Any issues? What controller are you using for smooth modulation? Thinking to get the Flysky GT5. If you have any advice in setting up the Ex86100 Pro I would greatly appreciated you feedback! All the best!
Where’s that? Did debbies get a crawl course? I haven’t been in VB since 2010 but I always recognize Ipswich lol, been takin out of there on a stretcher before
No way! I wondered why I couldn’t find them, I wanted to order from them a while back when I got back into rc just to support a shop I grew up buying from
Hey Tony, just wondering does Traxxas, Arrma ,Redcat have a set date every year when they release new RC? And if so when and how many times a year do they do this. Thanks again for support 👊🏻
Hey Scott. I don't know exactly, but they seem to spread out releases through the year. Depends if it's a refresh or brand new release too. The Traxxas Maxx and Hoss were announce Sept/Aug, but the TRX4 was in the spring. There are multiple buying periods to hit. I'm sure tax return is one and Christmas is another. But they seem to be releasing throughout the year. Horizon Hobby typically makes their announcements on Thursdays based on the ones I've tracked for RC Conspiracies.
I've had to replace a driveshaft because a grub screw backed out and I lost one of the shafts. We were camping and just put on another driveshaft I had for an scx10 and was fine. I also popped a pin out of a front CVD because the AXE system is very powerful and I pushed it too hard in the rocks. I cut a body clip and used it to fix it until I could get a new front CVD. I ordered them from AsiaTees I believe. RGT has quite a few offerings and I've been able to get most things I need, but do have to order from overseas.
Depends how fast you like to go and what your gearing is. I'm really liking the slow crawl of the 1200kv, but you can get a little of both worlds with the 1800kv. Honestly wanted the 1800kv, but it was sold out :)
Purchase the 1800kv have not install yet , Deciding Trx4 s or Scx 10 100% metal built Ford Raptor camper. Order trx4 Gc front motor relocate and a V8 427 ford fan engine kit.

I've been very impressed with this rig. I've had it a year with very little issues.

I think you'll be fine with the 1800kv. I was running 3s on 1200kv...so maybe on 2s it would be similar.
@@CCxRC Thanks Tony!
Great video. The Fusion system looks pretty awesome. Would mind getting it for my wife’s crawler.
looks good with the vaterra wheels and tires! Great rig!

it ran really nice. I'm thinking about getting more
Another killer vid bro
That course is awesome. I would move the ESC and put the battery cross the chassis behind the front wheels
Nice change of pace mate.
Nice run

Unfortunately Debbie's closed a few years ago. This is a new place that opened up January of 2020.

Hey Tony I got this truck. I was wondering if there are any high clearance links that would fit this truck.
Hey! Not sure. I haven't looked into it too much. Someone had sent me a list of upgrades in comments one time, but I can't find it now.
@@CCxRC thanks Tony. I'm sure if u find the upgrades we will see it in the future videos.

Which one should I put in my rgt without portals the 1200 or 18kv

How to choose 1800 kv or 1200kv , for a trx4 sport kit?
1200kv
Oh my! That fusion is so dang silky smootH!!!!!! OMG, i feel like my wallet will hate me very soon
Whoa what truck is this? Is it like a barrage on steroids??
It's a 1/10 scale RGT EX86100 Pro Kit. RGT has several crawlers out from micro, to 1/12, to 1/10. I really like the handling of it overall.
super😍👍
I have the hardest time making it up the small 2X4 ramp on the right side of the course for absolutely no reason
😂 I hear you. They've made it challenging in a good way. I have a lot of fun and it keeps being updated every time I go.
Is it 1200 or 1800 kv
I have the 1200kv version
That looks just like my FTX Xtreme
It's same

Where's the 5th scale MONSTER TRUCK!?!? lol
I'll take it on the course next time hahah. But seriously, the electric one is shipping today or tomorrow. :)
