Interesting motor with ESC because it doesn´t need to add a specific program and easly you can mount it on many different type of chassis like tamiya has some good RC crawlers... It´s a good choice to people whom does not know anything about electronics, I´m one of those and this is great
The wheel and tyre package really transform this jeep. With the original wheels on I just thought it was a bit, um... crap! But now it looks cool! And performs really well. A bit of a retro modded jeep look. Nice video Phil 👌
I'm looking forward to fitting one in my MST CFX-W build, I have an AXE 1200kv in an Element to test it against, which will be interesting. Still can't get over how you produce such great quality videos whilst driving one handed mate!?? Top work.
That jeep looks good 👍. Definitely like the beefier wheels and tires. They do make a world of difference. I know they did with my jeep anyway, lol. First time I seen this 2 in 1 motor/esc. Me personally I'd still stick with my separate esc and motor setup. Cuz least if 1 goes bad ur only replacing that part instead of the whole thing. But still a cool idea though.
Very nice video :) The automatic driving made a very nice and sensitive impression :) The place was perfect for driving :) Nice regulator. I myself always use the 1080
Probaly gonna put this in my hgp408 great vid as always Phil. Also fun fact those military Willis jeeps had all round independent suspension but it was only the military models and not the civilian models
@@TomleyRC It´s so difficult to know what people want to see - looking at where people skip through your videos can be a surprising and painful experience. Your montages are excellent - everyone (including me!) loves Matteo´s RC Movies, a channel which features lots of vids which are basically run montages to music. You´re brilliant at capturing the footage, and you edit it beautifully, too. I´ll keep enjoying them as long as you keep posting them : )
On the other hand, the Fusion is about half the cost of most comparable brushless motor/esc combos. So for the price of a new motor OR esc, you can get both together.
They always were one of the better choices for smooth sensorless performance, second only to castle probably so it doesn't surprise me how smooth it is. Not sure if the motor is sensored or not but I've seen some really surprising results with stuff like the 10bl120 and sensorless motors. I can't think of any other waterproof brushless system that's suitable for crawling for this kind of price either all in one or separate components.
Pretty impressive drive system, dude! The jeep was nice, but now it's much better! 😃 Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊 BTW... "THEY FLY NOW? 😱" - Sorry, I couldn't resist! 😂
@@TomleyRC I do my own channel, Quak Rc.. still on the smaller side. I took a break for awhile, getting family/life on the go. But now I am back and started fresh. You have some very helpful videos. I like that combo. I may have to try it.
Awesome Video, as always 👌 About the Combo; love it for the amount of torque delivered and even more because of the "esc silence". First review i saw about it being your opinion contrary of some guys I've been talking about it. Just on question: on 3S, how much rpms we're talking about 🤔 Thank You Phil🙂
Are they the Pro-Line Hyrax or the eBay equivalent, what is the difference in the rubber compound can you please do a comparison because I know alot of people buy the cheaper ones..? 👍 Great video as always have been watching loads since lockdown 💯🤘
I like it definitely saves on space but call me old school I still prefer two separate units for a good reason . But it's very capable definitely a great performer 🤘 v
Love this so much! Is there any chance you'll be doing any upgrades to your FTX Ravine? I ordered one from the UK (I'm Australian) and I can't wait to get into it Any help at all gentlemen? :)
Forgive my ignorance but surely the drag brake and ‘adaptive cruise control’ are are constant loggerheads? One trying to keep it moving and the other trying to stop it??
I hate when my esc goes bad and I have to replace my motor.......oh wait, that has never happened to me because my esc and motor are two separate components that can be replaced individually.
You piqued my interest in possibly upgrading the electronics of multiple 1/10 crawlers. The ones I have hve decent electronics but they could be way better. also ... Laughing out loud at the rogue imperial stormtrooper who stole the enemy's US Army jeep for a quick blast through some puddles. The music is what did it.
I don't understand why people do this stuff. The whole point of that rig is to look scale and do believable stuff close to what the real WIllys would do. If you put massive wheels on it, chop the bumper and then make it go over huge boulders, the whole concept is ruined. Might as well get a proper crawler that's gonna do everything better from the get go.. It should also have leaf springs like the real one for more believable handling but anyway..
Yeah it's a good scale rig. The Tyres, Motor was for the purpose of the review. It was switched back to stock shortly after. Here's my Review on it: ruclips.net/video/Us4ZcrETy64/видео.html
Good idea having the storm trooper drive. Those guys can't hit anything 😆 thanks for the video
Love it!
Lol
Hahaha
I run this system in my trx4 bronco and I absolutely love it and you can't beat 150$ compared to the 250$ axe.
This video is the exact reason i ordered the fusion for my scaler/crawler.
You have answered so many questions. I only made through half the video and I need 4 of them.
Yup I got one the other day now I want one for all my rigs
So the esc is actually inside the motor. What a luxury. Adding this into my 2021 wishlist.

Great bit of kit. Love super slow technical crawling.
Yeah me too... I like to watch the tyres flex and dig in
That device is the coolest thing. Gotta get one.
Blimey that's sophisticated.
I just installed the 1200kv version in my umg10. The low speed control is better than the sensored axe combo.
Austin Powers on the shelf sir. Can't have the international man of mystery laying down on the job. Lol
11:43 That's why you should always put on your seatbelt

Man, that was pretty cool. Something to add to the arsenal one day. The combo looked pretty capable and the Stormtrooper drove the heck out of it.
Gamechanger or not, this product definitely shows that the Chinese now have the cutting edge in hobby RC technology. Nice video!

Take a bit of practice mate... but I'm getting pretty good now lol. Fusion is on its way ; )
Love this channel
Glad I came across this video. I’m looking for a motor for my new gen 8 build. I may consider this. Thanks.
No probs Gaz.
Great two in one hobbywing and great camera work
That motor is smooth it still crawls if your going super slow nice unboxing

Yeah, the separate systems are always going to be better for long term reliability
Very nice video :) The automatic driving made a very nice and sensitive impression :) The place was perfect for driving :) Nice regulator. I myself always use the 1080
Thanks dude. The 1080 is a very good ESC
Awsome, thanks mate. Gauranga.
No worries Matt

It's look realistic on video, and it is nice millitary rc car.
What spectacular throttle modulation! Cool ending, too : )
Thanks Del... I only do montages for you now lol

Wow wow wow 👍👍👍👍 wish my 6x6 content looked this amazing so cool
Awesome Fusion
That combo is just too awesome! I absolutely love the speed matching feature. I need to get myself one
Great video, be interested in seeing this side by side on 2 identical builds, one with this all in one, one with the axe system.
Nice video, looks like a good upgrade
ROFLMBO, no way I'm riding with this guy , they would cancel my life flight coverage LOL,,,,, great demo 💪💪👍👍
haha
That's an awesome jeep
Nice bit of kit. Not too expensive too
Wow Brooo!!! Thanks for share!! Really usefull thing!! Wow!!
Personally I would prefer a motor and an ESC instead of a 2 in one.. This way, if one component goes bad, you have to replace the whole thing..

Proper ones, not the knockoffs. Although heard the copies are pretty good
You need those tires on your trx4 .
So that will fit my Traxxis bandit?
I like it definitely saves on space but call me old school I still prefer two separate units for a good reason .

Quick question; did you use the original gears and just fit the original pinion to the motor? Or did you need to modify anything? Thanks😊😊🖒

Far more than I can afford I'm afraid.
Try to jam it in a wpl C14!
Why is there a stork trooper driving?😂😂😂😂😂🤩
God damn, that sounded awesome but $150? I mean, it's probably worth it but I'd want to see more stress testing!
It sounds like the truck is singing a song.
Forgive my ignorance but surely the drag brake and ‘adaptive cruise control’ are are constant loggerheads? One trying to keep it moving and the other trying to stop it??
The drag brake is only active when there's no throttle happening whether cruise control or manual.
Budget RC Thank you, been away from all this for a good few years but learning fast !
Hey mate. Do you know if it fits the HG Humwee?

second:(. i didnt started video. already know its gonna be great
