A question I have is, how much of your classroom materials did you have to buy yourself? Like does your school supply you with anything aside from furniture?
Thank you! Every school is different. My school gave me a box of supplies like scissors, a class sharpener, a stapler, expos, etc. as a new teacher, so that was helpful. As far as everything on my walls, those are things I bought.
My daughter is going into 3rd grade! I would have loved to have you as her teacher! We are doing the virtual learning here in central California. I love watching these videos it’s giving me ideas on how I can decorate her space appropriately for her age and things she will be learning about.

For the first day anchor chart you should give the kids sticky notes and have them write why they feel that certain way and something they would like for to know about them! Just a suggestion :)

I keep watching videos like this trying to find the teacher with the smallest classroom 😂 I start school tomorrow (8th grade) and depending what team/pod your in depends how big the classroom is 6 classrooms in a circle shaped hallway
I'm a new 5th grader but my 4th grade teacher decorated the room so good she made decorations so we could have fun playing when we earn it but what makes me sad is that the kids ripped them painted in them threw them in the trash

I’m in Nashville Tennessee and my son starts 3rd grade Tuesday “woot woot” but we are virtual learning with his classroom from home... families without were supplied with computers & hot spots

I think it's pretty appropriate! My students last year alwaysss asked me about my life outside of school lol. Maybe because I didn't have any pictures 🤷🏻♀️
oh cool! I'm going to 6th, and I hope you don't mind but ill give you some tips. *the teachers are normally more strict than normal, and expect TONS of homework!* 4th grade was one of my best years, have fun!
teachers shouldnt have to pay for anything they get for their students, thank u for investing so much

I never thought of using the projector to trace anchor charts! I need to use that!
