This was by far the best tutorial I've seen & was easy to follow along as you turned an old damaged quilt into a darling comfy coat. Loved your quilt's backing fabric. Thank you for taking time to efficiently explain + show how you laid out your pattern pieces, then onto which order those pieces are sewn together, with the basic how & why covered. I prefer sewing by hand, though have a machine. I've never made an actual garment & now I'm feeling much more confident in cutting up one of my beautiful, (though too damaged to repair) antique quilts & wearing it this winter. Thank you. ❤
