Oh my word!!!!! You scored big time for sure!!!! I love thrifting, not so good at sewing but I want to improve my skills!!!! I don’t like to wear something that looks homemade. I must learn how to adjust patterns to fit my body and I hope you can help in that area. I watch too many videos where people spend so much time cutting and sewing a pattern only to see that the fit is horrible!. You certainly have a beautiful skill as you obviously know how to fit a pattern.
What a great idea! I have just started dipping my toe into the world of quilting and have been cutting up all of my scraps into 3" x 3" squares (the exact width of my ruler!) to potentially create something new with!
I'd love to see what you make out of your fabrics. I'm a slow stitcher bu t when I was young I sewed my clothes. I had fun doing it in the 60's and 70's.
Actually watching this with my own cat asleep in my lap.❤️I totally loved every piece you thrifted!!! I'm a huge fan of sewing with thrifted curtains, tablecloths and sheets. 😁🥰
@@UntitledThoughts I go thrifting for fabric for quilting. Have so many sheets that are floral. Waiting for retirement (soon) to start quilting. Can beat the prices for thrifted fabrics! Love the pieces you made from the linen looking fabrics.
@@UntitledThoughts I need to go on another good thrifting trip for fabrics! I have so many summer project plans and nothing that Im inspired to sew with... Thrifting is so good!
Yes you totally should! And it’s Earth Month + Fashion Revolution week this week and shopping second hand is so incredibly awesome and a great way to get involved too! 😍❤️
I love that you love yellow. I just wore a yellow summery top and was getting compliments on it. People seem to be afraid of wearing yellow but it is such a cheerful color imo.
Hi there loved your clip, I instantly recognised the fabric of your blouse ! I bought a piece of it, it is printed in Japan, bought from one of my thrift stores, it’s sooo pretty. You got a great fabric haul there
Thank you so much I really really enjoyed watching you show us all these stunning fabrics you’ve thrifted. Today I brought a beautiful large quilted quilt. It’s a pretty dusty pink too and it cost only £3.00 pounds too. So I’m so pleased with it. I’ve subscribed and given you a thumbs up. I would really really love ❤️ to see you making some new items from the fabrics you got. Our charity shops are never as good as yours.
Oh my. I feel old. I knew what that piece of luggage was right away when I saw it. I am pretty sure our family had some of those when I was growing up. Wonderful finds on your fabric hunt, BTW. As a quilter, I'm always on the hunt for great pieces at the thrift store! Would love to see a video out of what you make. But even one at a time and then finally when you finish them - a maybe sort of a fashion show. Hate to wait til you finish everything. That would be cruel! LOL
Thank you so much! I feel dreadfully behind, but I promise to share my makes just as soon as I have some of them gathered ☺ Oh, I did share some of them here (ruclips.net/video/QDr5YZZfC5U/видео.html) recently!
Yes PLEASE share your makes. I have done similarly in the past, and now that I am retired, I want to do the thrifted fabric into clothing (home decor, etc.) once again.
Oh I love that idea! I had never thought to use sheets for quilt backs. Now I think I will have to go and do that for the quilt I am currently working on!
Oh wow, small world! I am about 30 miles in the opposite direction 😅 Yes, thrifting can be such a gamble! The thrift shops closest to me aren't the best for fabrics (though they do have really good dishes/ home decor) so I often have to travel closer to the city to find the treasures.
The floral and blue tone shower curtain would be great as really wide leg palazzo pants. Add a button up shirt tied at the waist with a tank underneath. 12/14/2022.
Oh yes, love that idea! Actually, you just reminded me of the new pattern by @FridayPatternCompany that has a tied top and skirt bottom which could easily be subbed for some wide leg pants!
The first item a pair of pillow cases could be 1) used to store other finished Items like place mats 2) turned into large tote bags. YES YES YES Show us what you made of your thrifted fabric!
Aww thank you so much! I am so happy to hear you enjoy my videos 💛 I am definitely working on getting one up on what Ive created with my thrifted finds this year!
Never thought to go to a thrift store for fabric but this is such a good idea. What is the name of the thrift stores you shopped? I don’t see much where I live.
Honestly, there are only Goodwill's around me, so those are the primary shops I pop in to every now and again. Sometimes there isn't much and then other times I get really lucky!
Sometimes that is all I come across as well and it can be really frustrating I have to really dig for some gems or hit up more than one store. But during certain times of the year, I seem to get really lucky and find nothing but beautiful cotton sheeting! It's all a game of chance I feel.
I love the travel/cosmetic cases. I have a bunch of them. Some were mine, my mother’s, mother in law’s, or some I purchased because I liked the look. One I got when a co-worker brought me a bunch of sewing notions that were her mom’s. They were in the case and she didn’t want the case. I use them to store all types of things in.
I would love to see a video of the garmets, etc. you sew out of your amazing recent thrift finds.
Oh yay! I will definitely do that then, maybe towards the end of the year as I’ve now got so much material to work with 😍
Good decision about pillowcases. I hate to see old quilts cut up. You truly found a treasure for sure.
Yes, please! I would love to see what you make with your thrifted finds.
I would make a purse or backpack with the quilted pillow cases.
I love thrifted fabric videos. What lovely projects these will become!
It would be great to see some of the sewing and how you make the stuff with your thrift finds.

You certainly have a beautiful skill as you obviously know how to fit a pattern.
Love the make up case, it would make a nice overnight weekend getaway case
Great fabric haul. The floral sheets would make really pretty dresses. You could use your scraps to make a quilt or a quilted jacket.
What a great idea! I have just started dipping my toe into the world of quilting and have been cutting up all of my scraps into 3" x 3" squares (the exact width of my ruler!) to potentially create something new with!
@@UntitledThoughts Great, I hope that you have fun with the process. There are many good videos online on quilting and some on making quilted jackets.
I'd love to see what you make out of your fabrics. I'm a slow stitcher bu t when I was young I sewed my clothes. I had fun doing it in the 60's and 70's.

I love that you love yellow. I just wore a yellow summery top and was getting compliments on it. People seem to be afraid of wearing yellow but it is such a cheerful color imo.
Wow! I love people who appreciate really awesome, quality fabrics. Those last two wool fabrics. I want to learn how to sew my own utilikilt!
The pillow covers would also make cute totes.
The stripe would make a beautiful vintage night shirt or gown for summer. Some satin ribbon and lace.
Ohh that does sound lovely, especially as it is heating up here much earlier than usual!
Yes we would love to see your designs.🌹
You are so sweet! I hope to put together a video on that soon! ☺

There is no way around here that our thrift store has such good pieces of material like you found…. I’ve went and looked, and there is nothing.
Loved your video. First time watching your channel . Great thrift haul !!! I got my best fabric from the Thrifstore as well .
Oh thank you so much for watching! Yes, thrifted fabric is amazing - so many great finds!
