Wonderful! I will keep you busy.
Thank you for this really pretty blanket tutorial Alison! I'm making this just now and it's not too difficult but looks so bonny. I have had a Home B's shopping trip and bought some variagated yarn in lilac & lemon. Looking forward to having this in different colours. The clover hooks look great!
This is lovely, think it would be a nice pattern for a wide scarf too. Up to 228k subscribers incl Owen!
Fingers crossed! I will get to 250,000 by christmas hahaha
What a lovely blanket pattern! Any idea how much of this yarn would be necessary for a lap blanket?
I too like those clover hooks, I got three of them recently and they are very smooth in the yarn 🧶 I think they are great for small hands too. I have big hands and it’s still comfortable so I imagine it’s great in smaller hands. Just my opinion.
Yes they are, and we all appreciate your opinion its a great help with others adding how they find the hooks and if they like using them. Thank you
@@AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel thank you Alison my love. I do like to share my thoughts and opinions for that reason, being new to crochet myself there is so much to learn and any little bit of info helps i love hearing others opinions and experiences too. Have beautiful day my dear friend! I appreciate you so much! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I as usual grabbed yarn and a hook to follow along. I'm the kind who likes & needs to do it as I follow along to learn. And I goofed up the foundation chain row evidently bc it looks odd🤔🤨...wish I'd have added another couple of stitches to even out that. Oh well...lol. The nephew I'm making it for is four (or 5)so he nor his mom will probably notice. [I just decided to rip it back and start again as I looked at it LOL] OCD?!
Update =frogged back my first attempt & restarted my blanket. Love it love it love it!🤩😍 Making mine in a couple Mandala cakes of tan to gray.😁
oh i never thought of Mandela cakes i have a few cotton ones. Ha ha ha I know what you mean on the ocd my oldest sister is the same, she usually knits but started Cochet. She does amazing work but takes her longer as she just wont have any mistakes even if you cant see it but she said I know its there so she rips it back.
@@AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel I was teasing about my having OCD lol; but maybe that perfectionist [or just personally knowing that it isn't perfect bugging me]IS OCD🤔idk... Especially the fact that it's going to be a gift made me want it right 🙂
What stitch would you use for a border ?
I want to develop a u tube channel for my crochet just don't know were to start
How much yarn did you use ?
on this car carrier i used 2 x 100g balls you can make this as big as you like just crochet in the stitch count until its wide enough for your project. I think 6 x100g balls will make a large blanket or afghan
Very hard to follow for a beginner you do all the stitches too fast and don't explain how to do them at all. I had to start over 5 times watch someone else explain hiw to do the different stitches in-between and in the end gave up cause I just couldn't see what you was doing as it was too quick.
Just naw xx doesn’t mean no means cute xx
