Thank you Allison for this amazing pattern. You explain how to do the stitches so clearly. Another beautiful pattern. Love & prayers from Perth, Western Australia 🇦🇺❤️
Abso-freaking-adorable! I make loads of Chemo caps and Preemie hats for donation at local hospitals, and these would be so quick to make for new born babies. Thank you.
"OMG Alison I 🥰 this design".... great idea using scrap yarn which us ladies all have plenty of !! I'm so going to give this 🧁🧁🧁🧁🧁🧁🧁🧁🧁 blanket a try. Thanx once again for sharing 👍🥰🧁
This beautiful blanket is so cute, Love watching Alisons video’s she is so inspiring and easy to understand. I will give those little cupcakes a go. Thank you Alison.
I just love this pattern. It made such a beautiful blanker. Now I am going to have to go thru my stash to see what I can find. Thanks Alison for sharing this with us today.
I just love 💕 it! What a cutie 🥰 patootie blanket! You are the best Alison! Thank you! My sweet friend you are so great at all you do! I absolutely love everything you do and appreciate all the hard work you do!
These are the CUTEST cupcakes ever! I will be trying this for sure. I have so many of your patterns on my list I don’t know how many blankets I will end up with. I did make one of your poppies- turned out great! Thanks again for these tutorials.
This is adorable perfect baby shower gift my problem is I have no chunky I have 4 ply so that's what I will be using just changing hooks for cupcake Bottom and top
I absolutely love this stitch!! I need to make a baby blanket. I’ve got a stash of baby velour I’m going to use for the cupcakes top. I can’t wait to get started!! Thanks for the great tutorial!! 💚😊💚😊
Love this, I started one as soon as you posted this video I have done mine in cream base and lemon and mint green fondant to make cushion and pillow covers for my bed.
This is such an adorable blanket!! I am definitely saving this video to make at a later date and it doesn’t look hard at all! Thank you. Much Love and blessings ❤️
Very cute. Can you use a 4 weight for the whole blanket as i dont have any 5 weight yarn??? I have the perfect yarn for this but only in 4 weight. Donna 💜💜💜 I watched video and you answered my question. Lol
Alison I just want to say you and your tutorials have been a joy for me; I've been crocheting my friends and family blankets since I learnt to crochet in January, and your patterns have been lifesavers. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from Blackpool ❤
Thank you! 😊 I did a granny upside down blanket and some said it looked like cupcakes so I made this in a similar manner. I got a lot of ideas from big stitch books too.
If you google crochet blanket size chart it will give you the sizes of many traditional blankets make your chain to the length it says eg 30 inches or 44 etc. Thats what I do
this is so pretty.. the only thing that concerns me is that a newborn's hand can go through those spaces between the cupcakes and get their wrist caught in it... otherwise, it's beautiful.. thank you!!
I wouldn't wrap a new-born in it, that's why I don't mention crochet baby blanket. It's just a blanket and Its more for decoration as throws or afghans, or for toddlers and older children to snuggle into and even home décor pillows, cushions etc.
I love 💘 your very talented my dear dear friend xx

I watched video and you answered my question. Lol
yes you can use any yarns I chose these ones as it was the most half balls and odds and ends I had.
one of my friends is doing it in 4ply that's around a 3 lightweight it can be done in any yarn just use the hook your label states
Thank you for this pattern...I have tried other cupcake patterns but they never lined up correctly!!!

Gorgeous. How many chains for a baby crib blanket please ?
If you google crochet blanket size chart it will give you the sizes of many traditional blankets make your chain to the length it says eg 30 inches or 44 etc. Thats what I do
