Thank you very much. This is the blanket. I was looking for something that was simple but effective and to use up all my leftover yarn. I just cast on and off I go.🥰
Looks difficult, but actually easy to do - and a great use for those bits left over after other projects. It would make a pretty and lively temperature afghan, too!
Terrific tutorial:). Glad I found turning chain number in comments. I will try this, but will keep to two colors so I only have to carry colors up the side.
I'm very random with the borders. I make a different one for each blanket. I'm not sure what I made for this one, I sold it already. 😅 But a beautiful shell border would be nice, even a nice lace one since the pattern is solid. There's just so many options! 💞
Borders are personal preferences, but yes I always add a border to smooth the edges of my projects. This blanket has so many options for borders because it's completely solid. A lace border would be cute or a shell border. 💕

Do you add a trim or edging to the blanket? I’d love to see how you’ve finished it off

This is so great!! Do you have a suggestion for doing a border for this? Thank you!
Thank you! There's so many border options for this one, because it's a solid rectangle. I'd probably do a lace or shell border 🫶💖
Have you made any vests with this stitch? I am wondering how it might translate. Beautiful pattern and colors!
I have not, but it sounds like a fun project! 💖😊
Apaixonada ❤amei ❤

I love your videos. What stitch is on the blanket in your background? Thanks
Thank you! It's a Double Crochet mat that I made to be the background - ruclips.net/video/fsEtTvR0aEs/видео.html 😊🫶

Beautiful!! I love it!! 🤍May I ask… what size hook did you use?
In the video,it shows 5.5mm hook.
5.00/5.5 is suggested.
Thank you! 5.5 hook or a 'I' hook. Hope this helps! 💕😊
I love this ! Thank you for sharing . How many chain did you use to make the one you sold ?
I made 155 chains for this example blanket 😊💖
Would also make a lovely Shawl.
👏👏👏💞
Do you turn on each row or start at the same end?
Yes turn work and ch 3
What brand hook are you using. I like the silver sparkle
I bought this hook from @blackandwhitemoggie on Etsy! It's my fav hook to use ✨💕
Question? Are you turning your work? Or starting again at the right side? Am I making sense?
Turning each row! 😊💖

Thanks, it's a fun one to make! 😊💖
What size could i use this stitch to make a baby blanket
From google: A crochet baby blanket can vary in size, but a popular range is 36 in by 36 in to 41 in by 52 in. Hope this helps! 💕😊

Looks like you need not multiple of 3 plus 2 for the chain, but multiple of 6 plus 5
I feel like either could work? I made my example blanket with 3 + 2 multiples 😅🤷♀️💞
