Crochet blanket. The Berry Stitch Blanket. Super easy, NO CLUSTERS to make the Berry / bobble. This is just 2 stitches and 2 VERY EASY REPEAT ROWS. You need any number of even stitches then add 1 extra for the foundation 1st stitch. Great for blankets hats scarves etc. Any yarn will work and I used ONE HALF size bigger hook than the label stated as this is a dense stitch the larger hook will make a much lighter blanket.

This will be fabulous to make rewashable floor cleaning pads for swiffer type devices. You previously had another good one for making them too, IIRC the stitches were loops. I Know I’ve got it bookmarked, but I think this one will be even better. Thanks so much Alison. You’re the Best!!!

Thanks for reminding me about this stitch. I first did it almost 50 years ago to make a hooded cape for my first child and trying it again found that if the berry is pushed down as the dc row is worked it is easy to see the top of the stitch to be worked hope thís make sense thanks again

Hi Allison God Bless you for all you do. I am a follower since the channel started. A long time ago you were doing a blanket with a stich like berrie stich and I remember in the second row we had to put the needle on the left side that was separated by just one thread. I forgot how to do it and I have gone through your videos but can't find it. I would send you photos but I don't know how. By the way I was serious about giving me lessons of ENGLISH with Scottish accent.

Allison I was wondering if you have your patterns in written form anywhere? I will even purchase them but I hate trying to crochet and pause and rewatch and then iPad keeps closing it out and hen I have to go find that pattern all over again. Any help appreciated.

if you google crochet blanket size chart there are lots of guides you can print off or write down. EG: toddler, stroller, crib, pram, cot single bed etc if you crochet your chain to the length you need on the chart you will get the size you require. That's what I do as i never remember the size either.

spray some water on it and lay it flat on a dry towel, place another towel on the top and leave it to dry, use safty pins and pin down the corners Don't weigh it down this will flatten it just lay another dry towel over it this should be enough to flatten the corners.
