Just wanted to pop in and thank you so much for this pattern.❤ I started making a shawl with it yesterday. It's 15" wide and already a bit past 10" long. I found it quite easy once I got the hang of it and had those 2 rows memorized. And I'm relatively new to crocheting. I am making mine in Caron's Baby Cakes yarn and the colour changes are making it gorgeous imo. Also the colour I am using is called "Petals", and since the pattern looks like lots of flower petals, it's really fun to be making it now in early spring as I'm looking forward to the flowers coming back. It just looks and feels springtime. Thanks so much again.
Are you advanced in crocheting? I'm self taught and made it through a beginners crochet book. She makes it look so easy. Am I biting off more than I can chew and is this really a pattern for a more advanced crocheter? Your input would be much appreciated.
@@ChiquitaSalseraOne I don't personally consider myself any kind of expert or advanced at all. I'm self taught too and have been crocheting for about a year now. I learnt mainly on RUclips tbh. although I read a few books too. First I watched all the RUclipss I could find on how to do all the stitches and techniques, got a hook and a yarn out and followed along. Then I watched every RUclips I could find about common mistakes people make when learning to crochet and learnt not to do those. (The first blanket I crocheted was like 4 feet wider at the end than at the start. LOL) Then I started looking for any RUclips pattern thay said EASY in it. And started trying to follow it And yes I made tons of mistakes and learnt a lot from each. And that was a year ago now and I've been crocheting pretty much every day since. And yes I still make mistakes, have to undo parts of what I'm working on, and I still learn.🙂 I did get a few books and read them, but I have to admit I learnt almost everything from RUclipss. And tbh, I still can't read a real crochet pattern. All I make still comes from RUclipss. And I still need ones that are explained in as much detail as possible or it feels too confusing Hope that helps.🙂 Basically what I do is follow what the RUclipsr is doing step by step. Each time she says to do something and shows how, I stop the tape and do it. Then after I've done it too I restart the tape watch her do the next thing and do that,... Etc. When I'm done for a session, I take note of where I left off in the video ( the time stamp thing) so I know exactly where to pick ck up again next time. You can also slow down the speed on RUclipss if you find it going too fast. I can't even follow the wordless ones where you just watch them do o it
Thank you Sirin for this beautiful pattern tutorial. I could easily follow and did a multicolored stole for my friend. It turned out beautiful. Thank you once again and God bless. 💐
Oh my gosh, how beautiful! I’m going to make my granddaughter a throw with your pattern! Also you explain how to do it so easily! Amazing. Thank you, thank you sooo much!
Beautiful Stitch! Can’t wait to try it. Just have to finish two Christmas projects first. I think it would also make a great edging on a collar or sleeve!
This is really pretty. Thanks for sharing. I used it as a finishing for a handbag I was making but only used the first and second row. It is a bit intermediate thou after the first row. 💕
Un joli point , un peu compliqué...ce que vous appelez des patés , nous appelons cela : le point d'ananas . On faisait autrefois avec ce point d'ananas des écharpes ou des bonnets. Merci pour votre démonstration !!! ❤
Very pretty and love it... if you had made it a bit longer would be easier to understand how you make the shells anyways hope tge pattern is given below
I love watching your videos! They’re easy to follow and your thorough with the instructions. I also like how you give examples of what different patterns can be used for because it gives me ideas for more projects. Thank you!! 💜
