This is my first afghan. So easy and just beautiful. I am doing it in Caron Simply soft in chocolate and it is lovely. I cannot wait to finish it because I want to do it again with contrasting sand for the background and an ocean blue for the shells. I am hoping it will look like the ocean surf to be my new beach blanket. Thank you so much for sharing this. I just love listening to you. Oooooh I LOVE LOVE LOVE this! The 3 D effect on the shells is gorgeous! Got a blanket to make for a baby boy arriving in July and I can picture this in a soft pastel blue. Hi I love following your tutorials not only because of the beautiful patterns you make but I love hearing your accent. I was born in Glasgow moved to the US when I was 8 so I am used to it my mom and dad still had their accents mine only comes out when I talk to them thank you
I followed this pattern to make a blanket for my dad, and it was the fastest blanket I ever made. It took me just over a month between life and studies to finish it and it's so incredibly beautiful. Can't wait to give it to him!

What a pretty pattern. I lived in Scotland for few years in Selkirk & then Galashiels. Remember the COLD vividly. Moved to Glasgow for a couple of years. In Manchester now. Not the best of weathers but we do see some glorious sunshine's too. Must have your glittery color changing nail polish 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Love this. All of you blankets are just beautiful! This is the next one I am going to start. I think I’m going to do 1 color first and if I do ok I will try switching colors on the next.
