    Thanks to your generous time and care in sharing this tutorial, I have COMPLETED 3 afghans and working on 3 more. I’ve used medium 4 weight, bulky 6, and 3. I’ve tried for years to be happy with a crochet project and for me, this pattern gave me the confidence to keep at it. Thank you 🙏 😊

    Woohoo !!! I’ve been looking for a light fluffy easy stitch for a baby blanket, and this is it !!! I have crocheted for about 70 years, since I learned it in Europe in first grade. Anyway, after checking out probably 30 different stitches, this one fits the ticket, because I can crochet while watching TV, I don’t really have to look at it much, and it’s so easy. Thanks.

    • @JonnaMartinezCrochet
      @JonnaMartinezCrochet  2 года назад

      The yarn I’m using is linked in the drop down description box, it’s a quick changing ombre so my blanket wasn’t very big when I took this cover photo, I was only half way through a cake.

    • @JonnaMartinezCrochet

      3-4 inches is plenty for me. You will use a needle and weave it in following the stitches in 3-4 directions.
      You can also use a fabric glue on the very tips afterwards to be sure it’s not going anywhere.

    I’m new to crocheting, but I can follow your instructions and I’ve made this but unless I’m just too new- I can’t see where you explained what to do on the last stitch to finish and stop. I did just the single crochet in top of third chain but it doesn’t look right??? What did I miss or doing wrong?

    • @JonnaMartinezCrochet
      @JonnaMartinezCrochet  2 года назад

      you can slip stitch into the top of the 3rd chain. then cut your yarn and pull the tail through the last loop of your hook. Thank you for watching and commenting!

    Can anyone give me some feed back on how well this would do with a baby sport (3) weight yarn? Or is it better for the thicker yarns ?

    • @JonnaMartinezCrochet
      @JonnaMartinezCrochet  Год назад

      This will do well with any weight yarn you like working with! You could make a doll blanket in thread with this or make a throw rug with rope.
      Thank you for watching and commenting! Enjoy working with this stitch!

    I've been crocheting for 40 years but for some reason my sides are not coming out even. I frogged the whole thing. Is there anyway you can tell me to sc or dc the last few stitches to make it even on both sides?

    How many stitches would you do for a blanket and would you do 4th chain from the hook?

    • @JonnaMartinezCrochet
      @JonnaMartinezCrochet  Год назад

      That would all depend on the yarn and hook you choose. The best way is to make a sample and decide from there.
      My pattern in this stitch uses a worsted weight yarn.

    what do yuo mean multiple of 7 plus 8 ,? how can I print your instructions.

    • @JonnaMartinezCrochet
      @JonnaMartinezCrochet  2 года назад

      The multiples are 7+ 8 to make it any size you want.
      7+7+7 etc. then 8 chains
      That’s a multiple.
      Thank you for watching!
