Beautiful & I love 1 row repeat patterns 😁🥰🤸. This will make a beautiful scarf as well for Christmas gifts besides blankets 🤩! Gonna get on making one or the other using this pattern once I'm finished with the baby blanket from the stitch you referred to in the video 😃.
Darren, i'v got a beautiful tall back loop zig zag that slightly squishes in and fab for a scarf I will upload it in plenty time to make as Christmas gifts just trying to work out how to do a zig zag in the round without a dodgy seam for the hat.

I started a blanket with this pattern a while ago and thought I still remembered the pattern.....I need to undo a row now 😂😂😂 was doing 1 treble then 2 double for my clusters

I always get so inspired by your work. I have so many of your videos saved for that “someday” when my stitches actually become decent enough to make something to make as a gift!
And I think this stitch, if done up in a soft lightweight yarn, would be absolutely perfect for a lap blanket for my son who was left permanently disabled after being struck by a drunk driver.
Now I just need to put in the practice time & see how it turns out!

This is a lovely stich Alison
It is very easy to follow and easy to adapt for different projects. I am using it to make a little baby doll blanket for my niece with some left over yarn
Oh and loving how your nail polish is matching the yarn your using 🤭💕 I’ve just got to watch beginning and love this pattern already as always do with all that you show us 😍

I'm using King Cole yarn should I use a 3.5mm hook?
use the hook size it has on the label if you feel your blanket its too thick go up 1 full size of hook. This makes a thick texture so going up 1 size hook makes it lighter

I love this stitch I just don't understand why the UK calls a single crochet a double crochet and a double crochet a treble crochet it's just confusing

yip in the stitch book i have its called a ripple, but in another its a cluster and in a big old one i have its a bubble cluster.
I normally follow you and love your videos!!! However this one i saw it three times and got confused everytime. Is there anyway you can provide the link of written pattern? Or explain it again. I think the stich is lovely
its an old stitch and in many crochet stitch books. its in a book called 200 more crochet stitches. If you google ripple stitch you always get the wavy zig zag type.
