As a sheet metal mechanic i used them alllll the time even over cut rated gloves theyre just so much more comfy i love the cold weather milwaukee in the winter time
@metalsurgeon9196 its more fun when youre not just banging duct but hanging the high dollar machinery and getting all of the mechanical shit installed i do enjoy percussive maintenance though but ive come to never need to use one other than scrapping anymore
I have been searching for good gloves for ever. The problem is always the thumb. Most gloves have the top and bottom of the fingertips sewn directly together, and it creates a big seam of extra material right at your fingertips.... Which is annoying and prevents "pinching" to pick up or manipulate small objects (yes.... Like my Weiner). But nicer gloves have a "walled" design, i believe called a fletch or something? They have a flat face at the fingertips, and it allows your fingers to be fully pressed flush against the tips of the glove without that big hunk of material there, helping with fine motor skills..... However i have never found a pair that have this design for the thumb! The thumb is most important for "pinching" to pick up small screws, etc. but frustrating because again there is a big bunch of fabric sewn together there keeping you from making direct contact and "feeling".
Only time i wear them is when im dealing with tires the owner used tire shine Its the 7mm nitrile gloves i burn through especially in the winter Find its easier to toss on gloves than clean hands in the winter and its quicker to put on the gloves than clean your steering wheel seat belt and what ever else i got dirty
When working on vehicles, I seldom where gloves. Occasionally in the winter, since I am working outdoors all the time, I will wear a pair of Grease Monkey gloves with fingertips cut off the thumb, pointer n middle fingers
Nitrile is the most i like, unless my northern truck wants to play games that I can't be fucked with, and decide to liquiefy the offending fastener... Then it's welding gloves
So that people comment on it. He trolls people and creates engagement by saying/doing controversial things that get people to engage with his videos and helps boost him. If you have ever seen him outside of his own videos he's pretty chill. It's all entertainment
As a mechanic I found that the nitro gloves from Harbour freight are great the 9mil are wonderful
"mech-uh-neck" sounds like some gundam sht
You need to send OvertonWindex the pair you don't use.
