A paper strip will allow you to create a perfect line. Cost = $0.00, time to prepare and mark = 10 -> 15 seconds.
Accuracy of freehand cut still comes down to operator skill either way.

A piece of paper wrapped around the the tube will give a straighter line when marked .
All that time , tools and $100 of material to do a job with what ever one already has and do a less accurate job as the tube can drift end ways .
Can just roll tube on bench in a open vice to cut off .

Конечно да отрезать трубу ровно без приспособления не реально. Я использую для разметки обычный лист формата А4. Обмотав трубу несколько раз и совместив края бумаги отмечаю место реза. Если постоянно заниматься резкой то тогда имеет смысл делать такую приблуду. 👍👍👍👍👍

@@Alvawelding20 Better? But not practical. working on a vehicle precludes bench marking a cylinder. Mufflers, Drive Shafts - other linkages - - - . If you're looking for a "BETTER" tool, try a lathe. Mark and cut with machine precision.

What happens if the first 4 bearings go bad and need to be replaced,cause,it seems they were welded permanently, otherwise its a very good invention.
