Hi, I use this laptop in my work. The size recommended is 150% to view system, etc but for me this configuration is big and when changed to 125% / 100% or I have a problem to see the programs or to frame the systems inside the screen.
Could you please confirm if the recommend size is 150% or it's a "issue" in my laptop?

I have just bought a reconditioned T60s with an NVMe SSD, i5 processor, 12gb ram which i am using for work and runs just as fast as my most recent laptop i have. Considering this laptop is 4+ years old, i'm very impressed and (apart from a couple of surface marks) looks brand new

Has anyone used the smart card function of this laptop? I have this laptop and unable to get the smart card reader to function. i've checked the latest drivers are downloaded and been in device manager which shows up but to of no avail

Can anybody help! I bought this laptop not long ago, and it runs slower than my 4 year old Asia laptop. I thought this was supposed to be an ultra book, but it runs below average.
My father is buying me this laptop so I need information about it because I am using for the first time
I got a version of this with a standard spindle drive and found it a bit too sluggish to my liking. I heard that an SSD does the trick although I went for more RAM and didn't see much of an improvement.

Really struggling between t460s and x1c, any suggestions?
i personally do own the t460s with i5 processor and the high resolution display and at work we do have the x1 carbon 3rd gen. I have to say I prefer the t460s in almost every way. better keyboard, an almost perfect case, it just feels better AND should be a little cheaper than the x1c

What are the differences between 460/460s/460p?
460s is the benchmark of the 460, where the s stands for "slim". The p in 460p stands for power and can be purchased with dedicated graphics and a true quad core processor.

It is a matte display. It causes the brightness and color problems you have mentioned. But it also makes fingerprints less visible.
Also you could work properly, outsite, on a bench :P
Lenovo has to start getting more honest with its price, especially on the Thinkpads. They are starting to offer products with better esthetics, like the X1 yoga, or X1 carbon 4th gen, but there is NO way they can justify the high price tag for the actual relatively shitty hardware they stuff into them.
They are not aimed at consumers.
Businesses don't care since they get bulk discounts, I got a top of the line t460s with i7, 512g ssd and 20gb ram, which is like 2200 euros, insanely overpriced? Absolutely, but who knows how much we actually spend per unit (bulk purchase of approx 1200 pieces)

How was the gaming thing? Is that okay to play games or harmful. Games like Sniper ghost Warrior?
Don't think it is harmful, if you do it once or twice a week, but don't use it as a gaming laptop. Lenovo has a series for that on their own.
Suggest me a good laptop for gaming and coding and applications as well. Specially multitasking while building applications.

Go to Lenovo's own site and search under gaming laptops. As we don't live in the same country, I can't give you a specific computer, but they should have a lot of great options!

this is not a good developer machine is it? Even with an I7
it is. If you need more ram you can go up to 20GB of ddr4
is perfect for a developer
If they could make this a little bit cheaper and possibly add a model with a full metal body design, it would be a wonderful office computer. I would get one if it wasn't for the fact that i am broke :)

I bought a thinkpad yoga 14 inch at best buys for $829.99 plus tax, $904.69 total. It came w/Nividia 940M graphics card. Everything else is like the T460. My screen is glossy which I like better. Lenovo not known for it"s screens. Best Buys has a few left, check it out for a better value.
The touchpad is a little smaller on the Best Buy model. Just in case anyone was wondering...

I have the RAREST Configuration of this laptop which comes with an:
- Intel Core i7-6600U dual core CPU.
- HD graphics 520 AND a Nvidia GeForce 930m Descrete Graphics card.
This configuration is no longer available ANYWHERE, either from Lenovo or online.
It's SO RARE, NO online reviewer of this laptop has EVER Reviewed one in this configuration.

I've always hated the thinkpads...
The options are outrageously expensive, like almost apple expensive, the 1080 display should be way better, and the battery is pretty much a lie, 6/7 hours is no where near 10, seems like an ok ultrabook. Lenovo make awesome laptops but ehh always mess something up

With that price, Its in between this and the mac books which go for the most unnecessary laptops to buy. Ill give Macs a pass since its a lot cheaper then this one. NO REASON SHOULD A LAPTOP WITH THAT SHIT OF A SPECS TO BE THAT EXPENSIVE. This is definitely the worse deal of all time. Doing things the right way does not mean doing things the most expensive way. Do not buy this laptop!!
Wow, what an overpriced piece of crap! For $1300, you can get a great laptop with faster SSD read and write speed, at least QHD display, 16GB of RAM, better trackpad, a much better design, better graphics and better customer service than than what Lenovo provides to its customers. I wouldn't pay anything more than $800 for this PC. Good review though!

Thinkpad's customer service is probably the best customer service out there (and I'm talking about Thinkpad specifically because it is different for the remaining lenovo products).
