"Messi can't even afford this " lmao Messi doesn't even pay for food in Argentina .
Facts
No because he has invested in a few restaurants all over Argentina. In Rosario where he was born, very close tho the Footballstadium where he used to play before gooig to europe, there is a nice restaurant on a corner with a HUGE wallpainting from him on it. And it is not expensive there.
@@janvanrenselaar5998 🔥 goat stuff from Messi
Exactly! He can’t afford it.
@@BestEverFoodReviewShow 😂😂
Huge fan of Argentina. Beautiful countryside and great people. Buenos Aires is a beautiful city as well!
Cmon man. We eat sweetbreads here in the USA. Mind ya at a gastro-pub or French restaurant, but I love it.
$80 for a 10-coarse meal at that level is crazy good value, I would 100% go for that. Honostly, how can they break even on ~8$ per coarse with those kind of (dry aged) cuts?
maybe cuz our minimun wage is around us$200 so $80 its actually insane amount of money for us, that restaurant is made for tourist no argentinian is gonna spend that much money on 1 food (10 plates is just marketing cuz of gourmet portions).
Also if u see the food is very basic, just meat, wine and charcoal and time, all cheap things here.
Argentina is economically broken
not that much meat to be honest, thymus? sausage, one STRIP(1/4 steak) of sirloin, then the ribeye got separated into cap and eye for 2 dishes,
Yesterday my dad cooked a traditional asado for 16 people and it cost was around 60 usd with salads and dessert.
They break even because meat is 2.5 dollars per pound (5 dollars per kg).
"I went to hell and back" - a vegan on his trip to Argentina
Ha ha 😅
😂😂😂😂😂
Imagine if the vegan is also Jewish 😅
Haha, comically, Argentina is among the 5 most vegan-friendly countries in Latin America.
My parents said if I hit 2k, they'd buy me a professional camera for recording! Pls guys I'm literally begging you!!❤❤🎉🎉
"Can i drink that beer?" Well played!!
We know this gland in Greece, the animal loses it as it grows , we call it "sweetbreads of the neck " or "of the heart" - but with us it comes from lamb as it's too expensive to slaughter calves. It is a delicacy, in fact , there are veritable fork duels over it 😂 Bon appetite !
Also known as sweetbreads in the U.S. and popular particularly in the southeast.
Here in Argentina, it is one of the most expensive cuts and the one that locals like the most, and my favorite. At least I am used to it, I can tell by taste when it comes from the neck or the heart of the cow 😂
@@lautaroochoa5572 Long experience, I see 😂Lucky you over there, to have affordable meat !
How do you cook it in Greece? also on a grill?
I love how Sunny tries to pronounce words like Argentinians 😂 Mocheja
"Chesica"
$80 for 10 course meal of a high end cuts of meat? That is a bargain , wayyyyy better than than overhyped Salt Bae and with the inflation I would definitely go back there . That’s an experience.
Doing tourism in Argentina is absurdly cheap, that is a fact, even for brazilians or chileans, but even more for europeans or americans. Also we are FAR from being the best producers of quality meat, not even talking about the low quantity compared to other countries and knowing the amount of space we actually have. And i wont get into why your statement about inflation is absurd, but i understand why and who you voted just by that comment, and i 100% respect that, it just happens that you are just not smart enough to understand how economy works at basic levels like fake deflation. And lastly, the quality of argentinian food, our food, is REALLY low, mostly in restaurants, of course you can make really good things in your kitchen, but you cant reach high standards if your produce is not good enough, we are not that lie anymore, we dont have the best meat, we dont have the best greens, we dont have the best fruits, understand that, and be content with what you have, its not the worst, but far from being competitive, meh, maybe meat is competitive, but its a long shot to say its the best, and keep in mind most of the meat you eat is not even from Argentina, its from Brazil, so there is that... think about it.
Sonny is a cool guy. Down to earth, funny and a bit krazy.🤣
He is down to earth guy, but the guy needs calm down with this lame jokes. I know he KNOWS that its lame. But, sometime it gets to be a bit too much. Where it just ends up being annoying.
He’s funny! But to punny 😅. Chill with the puns

Visiting Argentina and Brazil is my dream, just for their beef.
In german culture the thymus of a calf is called „Kalbsbries“ and is popular in fine dining. It is really delicious!
If you're still in Argentina, you have to film a chapter in an ordinary person's house. I assure you, they cook the asado better than any place you'll eat at. Even Messi prefers that. Or better yet, go to the countryside in Buenos Aires, about 30 km out, and you'll find a place better than the restaurants that still don't know how to make barbecue. By the way, excellent channel. Keep it up!
Admirable diligence and down-to-earth personality. Congrats!
"Golf" sauce was supposedly invented (if you can "invent" mixing mayo, mustard, and ketchup together) by one of Argentina's Nobel laureates Dr Federico Leloir. He had a Nobel on condiments (kidding, it was on chemistry). Story goes he frequented his Golf club when he came up with the idea. So that's why in Argentina you'll see this "golf sauce"
Not mustard tho, keep your mustard away from my salsa golf!
@@leodemardel haha is it one of these things where everyone swears their salsa is the authentic one and people fight over what should go into it?
@@rumbatumblajambomambo6241 hehe no, i was just kidding but yeah, golf sause is made out of mayo+ketchup only.
@@rumbatumblajambomambo6241 If you add mustard, it's the typical 1000 island sauce
I havnt seen this channel in months.
Im glad it poped back in my feed.

Thank you for this video transported me back to my beautifull argentina haven't been back in years 💙🇦🇷
“I manifested this beer”. That is fucking hilarious.
Thymus is a normal gland in most mammals not just calves, it is one of the sweet breads. The thymus is a gland located in the front of the chest, behind the breastbone, and in front of the heart that produces and matures immune cells, especially T cells (T lymphocytes). T cells are a key part of the body's immune system, helping to fight infection, disease, and foreign substances. The thymus also produces a hormone called thymosin that helps develop T cells
Argentina food makes me hungry watching this video actually 🤤👍
You can find this also a lot here in Switzerland :) it is called "Milken" here :)
Messi "that's cute"
Argentinian here! Great selection of places! Glad to see that you enjoyed your stay and the food!!
"Senior" internet 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
There are two tipes of molleja, that are from different places of the cow, you have the "molleja de corazon" which translates to Heart Thymus, (is not heart, but is a close tissue) has more fat and more chew and are perfect for the grill. Some prefer this one over the other an so on.
The other Thymus is called " Molleja de garganta" Or Throat Thymus, this one is tinier, softer has a soft texture and is perfect to do with skewers or " Al Verdeo y salsa blanca " which translates to " Green onion and bechamel sause". This tipe of Thymus is what you ate on the last restaurant.
4:13 I hope you bought flowers from that sweet lady who respectfully stopped because you were recording 😄
best cickbait title ever xD
*THE BOMB INTENSIFIES*
it's nice to see the high end place win best bang for your buck for once. the street food always seems enticing because it's cheap easy good, but it's nice to see the hard work and focus of the high end place rewarded for their efforts. I think it's generally a good ratio, props to sonny for being real on his reviews.
the "sweetbread " as they also call it, is really good , the first time i had it was when i was studying at culinary school and we had to work as a group and make a menu , it was served in a white wine and cream sauce , man it was good.
That Lomo sandwich looks absurdly good.
They taste better than they look, I can tell you that
That holy Cow part got me🤣
Some of the stuff Sonny says and does keeps me coming back for more, my type of humor for sure!
After watching these videos, I'm compelled to relocate to Argentina.
Your videos are Magnificent ❤
Great video Thanks 👍
He looked so happy with that beer in his hand 😂
OMG! I never expected Argentina to have this type of beef. Top quality cuts of meat indeed! Greetings from González Catán, Slaugther City.
Wooow...i learn something new in other country...thank you for sharing
"holy sh1t, I mean holy cow" JAJAJAJAJA
Sunny out here getting the beef sweats for our viewing pleasure, bless 😂😂
Sonny, Its been years since I had mollejas. Thanks to your experience; I am now searching or where to buy some. Greetings to you and the team from Port Saint Lucie FL.
Sweetbreads are the best , if you ever have the chance try it!
The Mike Tyson lisp was the best part.😄
Wow. Reminds me of my childhood. That lomito sandwich.. baby!! 😮 fww the best memories.. spend more time showing the street stuff.. glad you went there bro.
lol, you said, about the most expensive place and their food, is like “smelling your own armpit at the end of the day” 😂. YOU sir are a hoot and i love it. keep up the great work. 😊
Its called zwezerik in the Netherlands. Its one of my favorites in a restaurant but not much restaurants serve it
Sweetbreads are not at all discarded in other countries, here in France they are very popular and expensive
You did the best last, the meat is amazing and ever plate is perfect and different end ,shows how all the different ingredients to make you feel good about yourself and what you’re about to eat all of the meat that what have been prepared for you and friends.
great show brotha
Sonny, your descriptions, are they impromptu?? 😂 "Like smelling your own armpit at the end of the day.. love it." 😂 you're pure comedic genius gdi 😂
Sonny please come to Morocco. I watch all your videos with my family, it would make us really happy if you posted a video about our country too :)
great stuff! wonderful country that knows its Meat!!!! choosing the best Meat dish is really tough here as all 3 foods shown are sooooo good! however based on my economy class tourist's status i'm head over heels in love with the $5 Sandwitch ! that is a real Bad Boy!!!!!
The "gland" is called sweetbread
the glands are called the thymus (throat) and pancreas (between the stomach and heart) sweetbread is the cullinary term.
And he already enjoyed it in Paris
Watched the three videos you recorded there. Im surprised you are alive after so much cheese and meat. I'm glad you are enjoying my country's cuisine
You tried "thymus" in Turkiye also
For $80 that’s a very generous amount they are offering. Meanwhile in Saltbae restaurants i remember having a simple steak and fried onion rings for $100
This is beyond amazing.
Thank you for the very delicious meat dishes 👍
"I manifested that beer" lmfao
Love all of your videos and other channels. The lisp about the Thymus. Legendary level. LOL. If your ever in the Gulf Coast, specifically Pensacola Florida. We have the best BLUE CRAB period in the entire world. And I bet my life on it! Always ask for the fried crab claws. Always blue crab here.
i'll wait until dinner to watch it :D
So funny to see Sunny learning about « Riz-de-veau ».
It’s great but usually ok with more delicacy then grilling on charcoal, I still enjoy to try this version too.
Sweetbreads are one of my favorite cuts of beef. Served with a mushroom maderia cream sauce, this dish will blow your mind!
I manifested this beer. Man, respect.
In 2016 we used to get sweetbreads for super cheap in Midland Texas. Now? It's like a prime cut.
Really? oddly enough, a lot of the sweetbreads sold in Argentina are from the USA, do to the high demand. Here in Chile they are also American, at around... 6usd the pound
@@elchanclascocinawhat?

It’s true that Mr. Sunny’s narration and respect to all races peoples and their local recipes in his all videos…you’re so high class guy. From JPN.
Omg another upload🥺♥️♥️♥️
That $80 place 😂😂
the beef sandwich looks so good but the 10 course looks amazing
Question do u eat before going to the restaurants ?
Nice Sonny! I just had a lomo sandwich and it was dry too 😁
Did he burn the plastic bag together with the charcoal ?
It's a paper bag
Yes hi did.. that wasnt a papper one..i'm from buenos aires..and that was a cheap one..awfall practice
5:05 that is truth!
Thymus is just sweetbread, right?
Yes.
Thymus is also known as Sweetbreads and is pretty common in most of Europe and in nicer restaurants in America. Its most often fried and its amazing - like the worlds best chicken nugget. My extremely squeamish wife even likes them
That Asada experience surely ranks at the top of the world for a hosted set dinner.
Not many men can manifest a beer. You are the chosen one!
In the US we call thymus "sweet breads"!!
Yup, I don't know anywhere they call it the thymus, you need to do research (he probably did) to know that mollejas are the thymus gland.
Funny thing, a couple of hours ago RUclips suggested, and I watched, one of your older videos where you visited Paris. Whilst there you had sweetbreads and today........ sweetbreads!
6:38 🤣🍻
Bonza living the dream 😂😂❤😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great clip! I was just in Buenos Aires and Mendoza. I thought the food was overrated 😵💫
very tasty food
loved it 😊
Sweetbread. Had this in New Zealand. Now try Tripe . Cow stomach lining
I would 100% pay $80 for that 10 course meal, holy shit that's good value for such an experience!
Absolutely. 80 bucks for 10 course meal sounds like a steal.
Commentary level is over 9000.👍
You stole a beer lol, I mean *manifested*
I heard sweet bread is really good. I want to try it
3:38 "But next we're going to a place even more expensive than this"
I wanted to hear more about the branding-iron pancake. 😕
I worked in a butchers shop in England and the older customer would ask for lamb sweetbreads or pig's fry (heart, liver, pork )
I get to travel the culinary 🌎 with you sonny. All the way from Kenya❤ 😊
they have mojellas in Bandung, Indonesia, they put it on a skewer, called sate jando
"I manifested this beer!" 😅
thymus sweetbreads are absolute fire off the grill..so fn good
Considering the gourmet portions of food you got served, at USD 80 the last meal was so overpriced I can't even begin to describe how overpriced it is: that is in the ball-park range of Chicago-gangster-pistol-wielding overpriced dinner price range, clearly only tourists will ever go there.
The Mike Tyson lisp was the best part.
number 3 looked great
