One of my controllers that I literally just bought brand new doesn't charge on my charging station but will charge when plugged up via USB. BUT my older ps5 controller charges when using both the charging station AND via USB. Any ideas what it could be?

Does it fully charge to 100% or only to 70%? I got a ps5 base stand that has the charging and it says only up to 70% due to the IC chip of the controller for protection...

In my experience using one so far yes it takes 2 hours to fully charge one controller but it does charge it to full

If anyone is still having this problem, try pushing the cable that goes into the charging station just a bit more and then place your controllers on the station facing away from the cord

Mine only blinks that gold color once when I put it on the station and doesn't blink again,is it charging???

Wish they made it USB. At least then I can decide whether to use the PS5 port or a USB wall charger. Now I gotta hook up a power strip to the other power strip because I don't have infinite wall plugs.

My problem with this thing is that it won’t stop charging, like the orange glow keeps going even after I’m 100% sure it’s full.
Which I can confirm by lifting it up and setting it back down, now I will see the orange glow stop right away after a second or so.
No idea how to fix this.

I have the same issue with both the controllers. Both the controllers are less than 1 month old. I'm not able to find any solution for this. Not able to find out if my controllers are fully charged. Have to remove it from the charging station and put it back to find if it's fully charged. Any solution?

One of my controllers blinks orange and doesn’t charge up. Left it on the dock all night and it’s still at 2 bars. Any idea?

I haven’t experienced that. If I was in your shoes, I’d reset the controller with the recessed reset button. Then I’d plug it into my PS5 and make sure that the firmware was up to date. Then I’d charge the controller from the PS5 itself.

It charges ur controller to 100% then stops charging until needed

I think the two port’s are connected in parallel so the voltage supply in both are equal so i don’t think it is going to affect when two are connected together

It’s never good to leave any electronic device on charger past fully charger even if they claim it stops charging. It’s kinda cool looking to have your controllers there when not playing but it could fry the battery life better not to risk it these things are 70 bucks each

Do you have any tips for placement I am having trouble with placements like I do it on the bottom part of the controller but I hear the click but it doesn't like light up and I know the one I'm using needs charging so maybe I don't fully have it docked
